Exectly how many times do I have to request to be removed from the Maritz Research calling list?
I work off hours and you never fail to wake me several times a week. Out of fifty calls in my caller ID history you have been the last 43. I have asked nicely to be removed 4-5 times. I only keep my home phone for emergencies but I am considering discontinuing my service to stop these incessant calls. I recieved yet another wake up call today. Happy Holidays. Maritz Research you are truly horrible!
Specifically say "put me on your do not call list, or I will contact my attorney." They have been told to tell their supervisor if anyone threatens legal action. They will put you on the do not call list. Sometimes you have to be very direct.

I asked nicely multiple times and then not so nicely without successs. I continued to be woken. Again. And Again. When I reminded the Maritz research caller that I was on their do no call list, they said oh your are right and hung up on me. Guess what? I learned Bank of America hired you to call me in follow-up for customer service. Guess who is no longer my bank!!! I am now commited to discontinuing service for any business that ever hires you to call me again :)

Maritz Research They called and called and called. When I finally answered to make it stop they asked questions about my bank. When they asked if I used a particular location 60 miles away, I became uncomfortable and said I would prefer not to answer that. They hung up on me.

They call my elderly 80y/o mom every other day to harrass her. Watching her run to try get the phone only to have it be a confusing harrassing call is very sad. One day these workers and this company will reap the misery it imposes on others. Till then just close your BofA accounts and tell them why you are closing it.
If you would only know how difficult it is to be the interviewer rather than be the average filth that answers the phone, you would change your opinion fast.

I just got a call from these people but I didn't recognize the name or number that goes straight to my tv screen.(Anyone who matters to me knows to call my cell phone) But the name got me curious so I did some quick research on these guys and I'm finding that nobody likes these idiots. The U.S. government has been obsessed with collecting personal dossiers on every American and are employing all kinds of illegal methods to spy on its own citizens. That's ok though because supposedly domestic terrorism is worse than Al Queda, who oh by the way have now been seen by millions of people flying their flag over official buildings throughout American liberated Libya. Look it up, I didn't believe it until I saw photographs and read official witnesses statements. I don't know that's what this corporation is up, but whatever this company is, appears to be a well funded, typically greedy, cut-throat corporation. And in my country, the corporate world and the government, are the homosexual bedfellows of America. They only work for each other, and they're in agreement that it's time for the American people to feel their wrath. So judging by that and the tactics this company is reportedly using, it's plausible that this could be a front. Britain and other western European nations are equally obsessed with gathering intelligence on ordinary people to protect us from "terrorism." Yea right. So in the interest of all of you who are suffering because of these morons, I will keep digging and report back here if I find out anything more. That includes the best recourse to make them stop calling you. I only got one call but I will take my phone off the hook and use my cell before I let anyone annoy or intimidate me anyway. I'm an assertive pacifst, so I seek proactive non-violent solutions to difficulties that may arise. I understand how some of the elderly people or people who use their house phones are a lot more bothered than I am when calls like this start coming. So I'll do my best to learn everything I can. I hate coming onto sites like this and see good people seriously bothered by a bunch of slimy leeches who couldn't do real research to save their lives. They just bully people into giving up information that no stranger has any business asking.

Former Idiot for working at Maritz

I like all of these comments very much. Maritz sucks a big one. I should know, I worked there way too long and gave way to much of myself only to have them terminate me on a technicality, and my slimy [***] ex-boss will make sure she goes to her grave keeping me from getting any goddam unemployment.
Are you the one who was fired for eating all the employees' lunches in the refrigerator? We were all happy to see him go.

I worked there for about 2 years. If you want them to stop calling you, just answer the questions. They get your information because a company you work with gave it to them so they can improve their customer service. The interviewer (the person calling you) has no power and yelling at them won't do you any good. As soon as you complete the survey, the phone calls will stop. None of your information will be shared with anyone else, it will just go back to the company who hired Maritz in the first place. Maritz is just a company doing a job that they were hired to do. If you have a problem with it, go to the company who paid for the survey in the first place.
How about they at least answer when you pick up the phone? dead air! silence! NADA HOME! GET THE PICTURE? RBC SUCKS and will never see me in one of their establishments! Never done business with them and never will!!!! Obviously RBC couldn"t give a flyin fu*k about what the Canadian people think about their crap incessant telephone calls. Call CRTC and make a formal complaint!!!!!!!!
only takes a couple minutes and lets stop these clowns

They won't stop freaking calling me no matter how many times I tell them that I'm on the do not call list. Is there any legal action that I can take?
Regarding "As soon as you complete the survey, the phone calls will stop. None of your information will be shared with anyone else, it will just go back to the company who hired Maritz in the first place." as the previous poster stated, this only fuels the method that they're putting in place. Do not share your information with bullies!
Brad, you're absolutely right. I answered the survey (they said they were calling on behalf of my bank) and the calls still continue...makes me wonder about my bank, that they would hire a company that has received so many complaints. I have caller ID and just let it go to the answering machine. Shockingly, they never want to leave a message.....
The do not call list is different from telling Them to put you on Their do not call list. The national do not call list, still allows people to call you for surveys. The do not call list of the company will take your name and number out of their system.

I recently retired from a very large corporation which international Fortune 500 Company. All of their surveys were conducted directly with the public and their employees. Only exception was Gallup and my company was up front on their association with that well-known and reputable survey company. These calls from Maritz are annoying and their purpose is suspect. I bank with BOA and they have all the information on me that they need, including my feedback. I do not share personal information with anyone calling on a phone. I will not do that to make these calls stop. I may contact an attorney because this seems to fall under a law on harassment in Florida.

John Smith
I called the # given to be put on their DO NOT CALL list. Instead I got an obnoxious message about winning a cruise. No option to remove my number
So I pushed the buttons hoping to talk to a human. When I finally got one she wanted my name. Asked her why. She insisted she could not remove my number without it. I gave her John Smith. I was short with her and she was snotty with me.
Got a phone call this morning at 4 AM PST time from a Curtis Smith. Guess who it was. My friend from Maritz Research (who the company says is held to the highest code of conduct) shouting “JOHN SMITH” and hanging up.
I called the call removal number to remove again this morning and got the automated system. Go Figure.
