    Government spies?!
    Scam artists?!
You kidding? I WISH. We don't get paid nearly enough to put up with people with nearly schizoid mentalities as I have seen expressed here. We work our butts off, get screamed at, accused of the weirdest [***]- for minimum [***] wage, you [***]. Just ask to be removed from the list or take the stupid thing.

You know what happens when you take the survey? You get asked 5-8 generalized questions about whatever your recent experience with what ever company we're calling on behalf of. Deeply probing personal questions like, "On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your service experience?"

Yeah, we're totally digging for gold with that one, you paranoid dicks.

Maritz is a separate company from B of A. They, (B of A) like many other companies, hire Maritz (and there are many other opinion poll companies) to contact recent customers to ask about their satisfaction with their recent visit, purchase, c/s, etc...
The survey should not (and as far as i know does not) ask any personal questions, if you are asked to divulge or reveal personal information in the name of Maritz, (or any company) don't  do it , and then do report it.  Having worked for Bank of America, I know that a great deal of fraud happens around the holidays in the name of legit. business, not just Maritz.
Also, if ever you wish to NOT receive a call from a specific number, block that number!
However, it is not with the intent to harrass, but simply to complete a short survey to ask about your purchasing experience so that the company we are paid to call on behalf of may improve their product and/or services. Hope this helped.

I got a one-question survey in an email account. What was my overall satisfaction with the branch I used? It was multi-choice, two values.

I wonder what info BofA got from that... it was a valid email address?

    BofA customer
I have had this problem with Maritz for a while. Repeated calls. I don't answer because I am not there and don't answer if I don't recognize the number. Especially 800 type numbers. Also, I have asked them before to put me on their Do Not Call List. My bank has always been good to me. Therefore, I called this morning and informed them of my research findings( on these posts) and internet and she was adamant that she would personally see to it that I was put on the Do Not Call list.
Time will tell but, again, my bank has always been fair with me so, I will give them the chance.
    Good luck to all.

They called saying they were from CAPITOL ONE on my cell phone at dinner time.  Capitol One will not own up to the fact they hire these jackals!  I am in favor of quitting any one that violates my privacy!

My problem is they called me at 8:45 at night, wanted to know if I bank with BB&T at a location 50 miles away from me and I told the lady I didn"t feel comfortable answering that question, I mean wouldn't by bank know where I bank. I called my bank the next day and they know nothing about Maritz  or no record of them calling on their behalf. This is a scam to find out your bank information.

Your local branch will know nothing about the third party companies they conduct business with.

Hello all, I thought I would look at some of the comments from customers which I might have called in my 3 1/2 years working for Maritz Research.  And I do understand how much you hate Maritz.....because I really felt awful having to call people over and over and over again.  But I would like to point out that if you asked to be put on the no call list, then you would have been by me.  When I started working there in 2010, I felt so bad if I called someone and bothered them.  In fact, my first call was with a woman who snapped at me for mis-pronouncing her company name.  I didn't think I would last one week.
To work for this company, you had to be very courteous and never be rude to customers.  And I appreciate all the customers that did do surveys with me.
Don't be afraid about your information, re:Bank of America customers, all we get from these companies are your name and your phone number.  When the survey is finished or if you refuse then your name and number are "thrown out of the system", literally, and if you answered the questions, they are added to everyone elses answers.....and then sent to the clients.  My reason for getting terminated was because I was accused of offering my opinion on what to do to help the customer with a problem.  Which I didn't but, I was let go anyways.  I hope I helped you understand a little about Maritz and even though I don't work there anymore, it was a job and right now I wish I could find another one.....that pays better!

I have my number on th national no call list and it's a cell number so "asking to be put on a list" is not the answer.   Frankly, I don't care how bad you felt calling people.   Thats the breaks.  Bottom line is that it's an invasion of privacy and if someone wants somethjng, they will call you.  This company and companies like it prey on the ignorant and shouldn't be allowed to use the phone as a tool to do so.
