Who knows if these guys are legit or not, but I did not get a good vibe from them on the phone.  They too sent out a card but could not provide me any information on my vehicle.

Please Beware.

    AL guy crying dang it
The card in the mail is a gemmick just to get you to call. These guys do however have a legit business in desolate Montana cuz no sane redneck from the south would go up to Montana to kick @#@#, unless ofcourse he was a trucker.

Anyway I called into their call center and the gemmick is simple. They will ask for the VIN number and thats how they will know if there is a "standard" warranty on the car. They do not have a way to figure if you purchased extended warranty from the dealership.

    I had my laughs

Here is one way to fight back. Call their 800 number from a land line (not your cell unless you have unlimited minutes!). Turn on your television, preferably to a sleazy shopping network, set your phone on speaker phone in front of the TV and leave it for as long as their computer will allow you to record a message. Repeat as necessary. I have cost them several hours of long distance charges and will continue until I feel better. FYI, for Automotive Warrantee Solutions of Boca Raton FL, the number is 800-376-5644.
I have also treated them to several hours of Sunday morning religious programming.

    Also got a Card
My wife was fooled by the card and got a "warranty" from them even though we have a 100% awesome warranty on the car that doesn't expire for YEARS.

They tricked her and lied to both her and myself and got us for nearly a grand so far.   They claimed to be "the only warranty company affiliated with Subaru" and represented themselves as the holders of our original warranty.  I'm getting my money back...Call your state DA.

Also, I love that when I found this site, the only positive comments for this company are all on the same date (april 10th) and all complaints had been down-rated.  Nice.

I have called three times now to try to cancel the policy since I was follish enough to plunk down $100.00 on my credit card, beeing led to beleive I would have 30 days to think about it. I have had to simply hang up every time as they simply repsond to anything I say with the comment,"That is not a reason"(for cncelling)and then ask another question. They wear you down until the only thing you can do is hang up. My credit card company now is going to dispute it for me. I'd say they wee con artists - big time! And, I , who think she knows better, fell into their trap in a week moment.

I talked to them on the phone today... they were so rude and so pushy I ended up crying, felt like a loser and had to have my mother finish the conversation,i'm 24 years old right out of school, no savings no money saved up and they were pushing me to pay something over the phone to extend my warranty or else! I was told that if i did not pay and make a decision today,AT THAT VERY MOMENT i would be red flaged and not able to extend my warranty ever again. Not having any money,, and broke seeing my wedding is in two months i was not able to pay anything at that time over the phone and they still pushed, and pushed and pushed, i got a very weird vibe and felt extremely uncomfortable. I pray I will never have to deal with any one like this ever again. This has ruined my entire day I feel sick!!! Something is not right here this needs to be investigated! BEWARE!!!!! Address: Dealership warranties 12131 Dorsett rd. #106 maryland heights, MO 63043  WILL SAY VEHICLE SERVICE NOTIFICATION! tHRO AWAY AND DONT EVEN BOTHER THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!! I WOULD NEVER WANT TO  DO BUSINESS WITH ANYONE LIKE THIS!!!

    dude
I recieved a post card in the mail saying my factory warranty expired.  I was in shock.  How could this be.  I mean my prescious 10 year old jeep warranty was up.  All I have to do is give them my vin number and exact miles.  Then maybe what kind of vehicle, a credit card number, and maybe I'll give them my families social security numbers, and bank account numbers just to be safe.  While I'm at it send a duplicate set of keys to them and tell them where it is parked in case they want to take it.  People a scam is a scam.  Call your dealership if you don't understand your warranty.  I have not had a warranty on my car for 5 or 6 years.

I just got one of this card today. I wonder why the police don't take any action against these scams.  The police are only interested in creating crime on their own by using facebook.

    How rude in georgia
This company scammed me too. I recieved a call on my cell phone to an automated messege saying my warranty had expired, I spoke with a representative who was rude and he tried ramming a warranty down my throat. Luckily my husband walked in from work,( he is a finance manger for a legitament warranty company) I told him our dealership was on the phone and he started listening in. He told me things to ask and the guy on the phone (Scott essman) got really defensive!!!!! My husband said ur dealer doesn't do the extended coverage with out of warranty vehicles. This guy lied about covered parts gave outrages discounts($2000) and then got his manager (mr. Govero) who continued to discount even more..WTF. They had almost $3900 in mark up discounted off the original price!!!! After I asked to see the contract in writing they finally hung up.then we back ground checked the names we got of the different people we talked to there and all three of them were convicts, two of them including the "manager" had possession of heroin charges !!!!! How are they able to sell insurance???what a scam.. I would have bought it probably if my husband hadn't came home just in time.. He then informed me that we already had A+ rated coverage thru marathon automotive that has already paid two claims totaling $3100 and the policy only cost $2587

Called phone number on postcard and asked to OPT-OUT. Guy continued to talk and ask me about my vehicles. I repeated I called to OPT-OUT. He kept talking, so I remained quiet. Repeated a third time that I was calling to OPT-OUT of their database as I did not need their services, and the guy said I was being RUDE and IGNORANT.  Told him I would notify my professors of my need for re-education when dealing with SCAMMING SCUM.

    Not again
A few years ago I bought a policy through another company, Great Atlantic Warranty. I'm having a hard time getting the refund the contract agrees to if I sell the vehicle, which I did. They want a noterized odometer reading, I no longer have the car, so no notery will verify it. Today I received the card earlier discussed in this thread. I thought my truck might be up. The guy at Dealership Warranties started asking me for too much personal information. My VIN number my mileage. He couldn't tell me what vehicle I had that needed a warranty, I told him they didn't know what they were talking about and not to bother me any longer. I also called my dealership. They told me it was a scam. They knew who they were. Ignore these fools, they shouldn't have to sk you for information, they should already have it.

    Nice Try Georgia
I am sure that your husband works for a "warranty" company but not in Georgia. Please tell us what "warranty" company does he work for? Also, if you are going to state that the managers you spoke with are all convicts, please provide your proof. I know there are no convicts that work at Dealership Warranties, especially not a manager.

When you try to post FAKE blogs, realize what you are saying. If you knew your husband worked at a warranty company, why would you contact another warranty company to purchase your protection. Like you said, "I would have bought it probably if my husband hadn't came home just in time." I am sure this was the case. Do you not know where your "husband" works or what he does.

You cannot pull a background check on anyone by just their name. I do appreciate your effort to try to discredit this company. It is obvious you work for another warranty company. Go back to work and do your job, you are not fooling anyone here.

If you would like to waste your time

Even if you vehicle is 20 years old
There are many warranty companies that can offer you coverage if your vehicle is 20 years old or newer.

All of the vehicles that you are speaking about can be offered coverage. Try to get a quote and see what you will be offered.

You might be surprised how well a warranty would work for an older vehicle like this.

    Try to compare
Compare the policy you purchase at the dealer with a policy from an actual warranty company.

Most times the policies are the same just the dealer's mark up is much more. Always shop around and you will see that you could save alot of money.
