Time to pay the piper.
This is a summary of just one of their victims.
Summary of my 2009 unresolved payment due from Steve Leflar
On January 9, 2009 I received a phone call from Eric Symons of North Bay Entertainment (NBE hereafter) to hire my band, Hot House for an event at Korbel Champagne, Guerenville, Ca. on July 11, 2009. On January 10 I received an email and contract from Crystal McLaughlin of NBE confirming all details. I mailed a signed copy of this contract to NBE, 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca. 94519-1514. We were to be paid $2000 for our performance. The contract was signed by Steve Leflar, owner of NBE and Star Sounds Productions, also at 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca.
On July 11 Hot House performed at the wine club Speakeasy/Grapevine Swing event at Korbel. All went well with no problems of any kind.
On July 13 in accordance with the contract I emailed a summary of the completed event to artists@northbayentertainment.com.
After a few weeks I began to inquire about payment. Mr. Symons would always promise I would be paid, as late as October. Ms. McLaughlin claimed she no longer worked for NBE. Mr. Leflar claimed not to own NBE and tried to blame the debt on NBE’s previous owner Thomas Schoenberger. I contacted Mr. Schoenberger and he assured me NBE’s ownership was held by Mr. Leflar. I also contacted Julie Williams, Korbel’s Hopsitality Director. She mailed me photocopies of her contract – with Mr. Leflar’s signature - and both of Korbel’s deposit and balance checks for the event, all of which had been mailed to NBE/Steve Leflar, 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca.
As of this writing I remain unpaid by Steve Leflar.

This is a seriously demented person. You guys keep posting stuff and he keeps getting more enraged and creating more diversions, threats and lies.
Doesn't the fact that Leflar admits no guilt alarm anyone?
Thats one of the definitions of a psychopath.
And Monday at one oclock, I bring witnesses and official documents. Anyone looking to serve Mr. Leflar can do so at this time.
Lets all stick together and squeeze this gangster till he pays us back.Musicians 5, Leflar 0
GIG XIFARAS Part Two I agreed to rewrite two contracts to AEC for Big City Revue, one on June 27, 2009 under Star Sounds Productions from the original contract under North Bay Entertainment and July 17, 2009. Even though North Bay Entertainment had collected the funds. Star Sounds paid out of our pocket instead of Thomas Schoenberger who held the debt. Now Gig Xifaras has invoiced Star Sounds Productions and demands we pay for another event for Six In The City that is a North Bay Entertainment contract instead of Thomas Schoenberger who again holds all the debt of North Bay Entertainment allowing him to continue to be a scam artist. They fit well together. He insists that Thomas doesn't work for him. Just Google Thomas Schoenberger and you'll see he is listed as a consultant on two of AEC's websites. YOU DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. On January 11, 2008 there were two contracts with AEC with Big City Revue 9 pc and 3 dancers was contracted in January 2008 and all the funds were collected by Thomas Schoenberger who was the one and only owner of North Bay Entertainment. Star Sounds Productions had no part of this event in any manner. The amount of the contract to AEC is in the amount of $8362.50. However Gig Xifaras is holding over $4000.00 of Star Sounds Productions money. Which Gig Xifaras is applying towards his contract with North Bay Entertainment, Thomas Schoenberger months before the partnership with Thomas Schoenberger. Thomas sent Gig an email acknowledging he is responsible and would pay for the event. However Gig Xifaras still holds our funds and will not credit us with the amount due us. Gig Xifaras has stated to me on the phone September 23, 2009 he was going to trash Star Sounds to everyone in the industry and has indee
I almost forgot the over $40k he deposited into his NBE account statement ending April 2008.
see some of the actul documents at www.northbaye.net He has not accounted for the over $100k worth of contracts he collected and showed where he paid the contracts to the artists.
He has also lost two cases as Thomas Schoenberger DBA North Bay Entertainemnt with four more pending and many more to come.

Do me a BIG favor.. Can you call my home at 707-255-3808 and say
Thomas, you should do what I did,, get a legal separation to avoid the marriage tax..then have the court annul it after 60 days..
It will save you guys 20k in taxes..The only thing is that you have to put at least $7500 in an account in faranaks name only with a bank...
But that is what Jill and I have done twice..
After you do this, go to the hospital and show them the papers.. they will release her obligation to the debt since she makes under 24k a year.
As your tax guys .. This is the loophole in california law...

ERlC SYMONS,
Plaintiff,
vs.
THOMAS SCHOENBERGER
Defendant.
Case No.; 26-50999
DECISION AFTER SMALL CLAIMS TRIAL
This small claims case came on for hearing on March 19,2010. Both parties were present and presented testimony, evidence and argument. The court took the matter under submission, and now rules as follows:
Plaintiff presented undisputed evidence that he is owed money for unpaid contracts by North Bay Entertainment (NBE), a sole proprietorship. Plaintiff presented further evidence that Defendant Schoenberger is the/an owner of NBE and, therefore, is personally liable for NBE's debts to plaintiff.
Defendant rebutted this evidence with evidence that ownership of the business was transferred in February of2Q08, to a third party, Steven Letlar, before the contracts in question were entered.
This was a difficult case for the court to decide because the evidence presented by plaintiff clearly shows that defendant continued to be heavily involved in NBE, including its management, marketing, operations and finances, and may have even wrongfully taken money from the company for his own uses, after ownership was allegedly transferred to Mr. Leflar.
On the other hand, defendant has presented the court with strong evidence that Mr. Leflar held himself out as the legal owner of the company to government agencies, including the IRS,beginning in early 2008. From this evidence, the court is unable to conclude that plaintiff has met his burden of proving that defendant is legally responsible for debts incurred by NBE after February of 2008.
Plaintiff's claim is against NBE and the sole proprietor thereof. He has not proven that Thomas Schoenberger continued to be the sole proprietor of NBE after February of 2008.
If plaintiff's other allegations against defendant are true, then it may be that Mr. Leflar has valid claims against defendant, but those issues are not before the court in this matter.
Based on the foregoing, judgment shall be entered in favor of Defendant.
It is so ordered.
