SCAM ALERT! 2000 Jayco Designer 28ft Class C Motorhome on a Ford E-450 Super Duty Chassis with a 6.8L V10 Gas engine and automatic transmission. This unit has 53,145 miles. These scammers post fake ads for RVs/campers on craigslist and other ad sites.
These vehicle scammers will usually claim that a "shipper" or "mover" will drive the RV/camper to you, if you send payment first - and they will only accept payment through Amazon Pay, ApplePay/iTunes cards (or other gift cards), wire transfer (Western Union, Moneygram) reloadable card (Vanilla, Green Dot/Moneypak) - untraceable payment methods which are like sending cash and cannot be reversed.
They only want to be contacted by email or text. Usually they will claim to be overseas in the military, or on an oil rig (coming up with any excuse to avoid meeting you - the scammer is likely in another country), or will tell you a sob story about the RV's owner having just died. The price they quote is far lower than its book value ($2000-4000 for an RV that usually sells at over $20,000+).
The scam craigslist ad will probably have one or more of the following features:
A lot of white space below the text;
Superfluous text at the bottom having nothing to do with the ad (probably copy/pasted from a random Wikipedia article); random words/letters/characters added to the subject line;
An email address (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook or other free email) or phone number (not a number of an established dealer) on the photo of the RV/camper.
The photo of the RV is squeezed, stretched, or skewed at an angle.
Never send money for any vehicle (RV, car, truck, motorcycle, boat, tractor) without inspecting it in person! If the seller cannot meet you in person, he may well be a scammer.

The Rv drives excellent and is without any mechanical issues. The engine is powerful and runs smooth and quiet. It drives like new and is without any shakes, pulls or problems. It has only 51,490 miles, 3 slide, no smoking, no pets, Roadmaster chassis, 400HP ISL Cummins Turbo Diesel with 1200 lbs./ft of torque, 6 Speed Allison automatic transmission, exhaust brake, cruise control, traction control, front brakes and shocks new 2015, automatic hydraulic leveling jacks, fiberglass roof, 10,000 lb.
It has been stored inside during the winters. No pets and it does not smell like smoking. The tires are good, they were changed 2 years ago, not so much mileage on them. Probably 80% life left in them. No mechanical issues, no paint issues. Generator has 896 hours. This is one beauty of a coach, you will have no regrets with the quality inside and out. The title is clear and in my name.
I'm selling it at this price ( $28,000 ) because I just went through a divorce with my ex-husband and when it has finished, I remained the owner of this Rv. I have some financial problems right now, so I want to sell it as soon as possible.

Of course the deal was too good to be true, but what the hell... see what the scam is.
I sent them a text to phone number (206) 745-9244
On 5-3-2017 at approximately 12:00 PM I received a test response stating:
"Hey, I posted the Jayco Motorhome $2500 on Craig's list for my sister. If you want more details message her at jspow8@gmail.com. Her name is Jessica"
Clearly this scam is someones occupation!
