Because I couldn't find a job and I am an ex-banker, I thought it would be a good idea to team up with Full Speed Funding as I had worked in obtaining business credit card business, which this company does. I received a call from a company selling this idea, can't remember the first company name. Caller said they would help me get a refund of approximately $149 that I had paid to previous name but changed their name to Full Speed Funding. I authorized the first named account for the $149 and the newest name business, $95. They never helped me retrieve the first amount. I authorized the $95, but they took $495. $400 without my authorization. I called them, taking me to a recording and finally talking with what I think to be a Black man from Houston, whose first name is Charles. Charles said they would be sending me a check for the $495 next week, which never came. Called a few weeks later said company going through changes and would let me know after this change to send my money. Never called or sent. This started in 2010 and continues to this date. I have notified the Phoenix Police, the FBI and now you.

    I am interested in filing a class action suit against them. I too was scammed. I currently am still paying off the credit I used to start the so-called business. I invested money that I did not have and now I am paying interest on it. I tried to call the company to obtain a refund, but could not get anyone on the phone. I tried to call again today and the number I have is no longer good.  It goes to some other mortgage company.  I am really frustrated with this situation. Please help. My e-mail address is drea49ink@yahoo.com

    I don't know Allan but yet he changed my life with his scams using telemarketers who pass the phone off to fast talking,condescending "supervisors" that pull you into their world and make you feel stupid. Just found his mug shot and drug charges online, which makes me feel even worse about my money. Yet its more than just the money...and as you said a different kind of stress. Have done lots of research trying to prove to Amex credit card that I did ask for a refund within the 3day time frame afforded me by the law,they chose to believe the ad people at First Source Marketing. In my research I found out that Allen also owns that company and several more in the credit card processing business. Hopefully I will not ever meet this man, but he did call me several months later saying that his former employees were the ones who scammed me as well as 50k from him and he was broke but would help me get my charges reversed. Ha, then the phone went dead,most likely because he saw my credit card had a fraud alert on it.

      I'm pretty sure you will never see this from a "scam" company in Phoenix.
      My partners and I had ever intention of making our agents money and just recently found out information as to why results weren't seen that should've been.

    I'm replying to "agent 6740" who states that the owner worked directly with him and has 60 residual accounts. I don't like to doubt people's word, but would like to know how much money you have actually made(net,after expenses) for the past year. Noticed your post was dated March 2011? Are you still working for FSF? Also, the statement you made about the marketing companies who call and offer overpriced ads being overboard. The ad company that ruthlessly took my money was First Source Marketing who was owned by the same owner, Alan Farris. No one mentioned this to me, it was discovered much later and Alan verified this himself. If you could please find Alan's current phone number, I would love to talk to him...maybe he could help me, maybe even get a laptop myself. I would bet that poor widow woman could have bought several laptops for the money she has sent them. It was people like you and the other employees here that helped take money from retired,elderly and unemployed folks who were desperate.Think about it.

        Really Allan?  You can't right this wrong!  You are a pathetic excuse of a human being.  You and jerk Estil preyed on the vulnerability of innocent people.  You and Estil enjoyed riding your BMW's, Mercedes, motorcycles, dining at the finest places, Breitling watches, a million True Religion jeans, etc etc.  And now you want to help the people that you screwed over??? That is almost comical.  I thank God everyday that I didn't listen to your [***], and work for your scam of a company.  I knew you were full of it, no one makes close to $300k a year making phone calls!!!!  You and Estil deserve to go to prison for many years to pay for what you did!!!  Oh, and you can take your explanations and shove them directly up your drugged out ass!

    I could not find the full speed recovery on Facebook,but did a search for Allan Farris. It showed a white haired older man with a lady. The mug shot that shows up on the Arizona Justice site shows a much younger man with dark brown hair. How old is this man who you all know?

    I was scammed for about 4500 dollars, Full speed funding and First Source Marketing, suppose to sell me leads and business cards. They were suppose to help me generate income to get this money back. I guess I wasnt the only one who got it. I am on disability and can not afford to loose this kind of money. I really feel like they took me to the cleaners. If anyone knows of a way to recoupe this loss, I would sure be interested.

    Allan Farris is a scam artist!  Thankfully, I didn't fall for his BS, I knew things didn't add up from the start.  To think that my whole life could have changed if I had made the opposite decision.  Allan promised that if I worked for Full Speed Funding/First Source marketing, I would make at least $250k a year!  One thing is for sure, he is a great salesmen; but, he didn't close with me!  The promises and assurances that would pour out of his mouth was almost comical.  It's sad to read about how many people have been screwed by him.  But, as the saying goes - if it sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't.  Allan enjoyed riding around in his BMW and Benz's, and spend unlimited amounts of money on cloths and accessories, and a whole bunch of crap.  I can only be grateful that I didn't allow myself to fall under his scam!  I think everyone who has been screwed by him should get together and file a class action law suit. He deserves to pay back all the harm he caused other people.  I just don;t understand how druggie's like him still walk on this earth!  I hope Allan reads this, you know who I am!

      HORNE: COURT ACTIONS END FRAUD SCHEME AND TELEMARKETING SCAM

      PHOENIX (Monday, May 17, 2012) -- Attorney General Tom Horne today announced a court judgment against a Phoenix-based business opportunity fraud scheme and one of its operators, and his office has also entered into a settlement agreement with a second operator, effectively shutting down a telemarketing scam.

      Both judgments found that the defendants, Allan M. Farris and Estil A. Wallace, violated the Consumer Fraud Act by misrepresenting the effectiveness of the marketing services and falsely claiming that consumers would realize increased earnings through those services. The online advertising packages sold by the defendants ranged in price from $500-$40,000.

      "Consumer scams of this type are proliferating, and it is important that every Arizona consumer be wary of telemarketing schemes such as these," Horne said. "These predatory scams make victims out of innocent consumers, and my office is going to remain extremely vigilant and put illegal operators out of business. But the first line of defense is for consumers to be very cautious about whom they allow to handle their money."

      Full Speed Funding telemarketers called consumers, offering an opportunity to earn money working from home, arranging for the funding of small business loans and/or credit card processing services. Consumers were told that they would earn a commission each time one of their leads made a purchase. Defendants called consumers who purchased a website a second time and persuaded them to purchase marketing services for their business. Although consumers were told they would receive substantial commissions, they always failed to earn any profit or income as promised.

      The state obtained a default judgment against the two businesses and Allan Farris. The judgments permanently enjoined both Wallace and Farris from:
      •Violating the Consumer Fraud Act and Telephone Solicitation Statute in the future;
      •Having any involvement in a business entity that is engaged in the advertisement and/or sale of any business opportunity in the state of Arizona;
      •Making any and all outbound telemarketing calls to any consumer residing in the state of Arizona; and
      •Providing their customers' names, addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses, fax numbers and/or credit card or bank account numbers to any other business.
      Defendants also were ordered to provide restitution to their victims and were assessed a civil penalty.

      The number of these types of business opportunity scams has increased during the past several years. To protect consumers from this type of fraud, Attorney General Horne initiated legislation to regulate business opportunities. The bill was sponsored by Representative Kate Brophy-McGee. The new law requires that these types of business give potential buyers sufficient information to make an informed decision and the chance to review the information before actually purchasing.

      Consumers who believe they were defrauded by a business opportunity seller or are contacted by a company that has not complied with the new law should file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office. To file a consumer complaint, please contact the Arizona Attorney General's Office Consumer Information & Complaints Unit at (602) 542-5763 / (520)628-6504 / http://www.azag.gov/consumer/complaintform.html.

      Further information about the bill, HB 2825, and the complete text may be found at www.azleg.gov.

      This case was handled by Assistant Attorney General Nancy V. Anger.
