I have been getting calls for about 6 months. The calls on my display is always a local area code and number, and is always a different local number. If I return call the displayed number I will get a local person that is not associated with the company. They some how clone local numbers and make their scam calls. I have told them several times to stop calling me with no avail.  One time I got a male representative and he started making screaming sounds, how odd is that.
I don't know what to do they will not stop calling so I have to screen every call.

I just got my first one.  Called back, "Hello, this is Veronica with member services" I hung up, put the number on my Do Not Answer list.  Next time I'll just let weird numbers go to voicemail.  Thats what it's for.

That won't work with this scammer piece of [***] because they used different numbers, even local cell phone numbers.

Getting the same thing for several months. Call from local numbers, call back getting a person that is sometimes aware because they are cloning the numbers just like Bubba said. Tell a person to stop calling, get hung up on.

Veronica from Member Services I called the number back and a local person answered with nothing to do with this scam.

They are computer generated numbers, "ghost" numbers, usually whatever area code you are living in. SCAM!

I receive calls from them several times a week. The last time ended in the "representative telling me they'd like to "explicative" my "explicative", that I must have a big "explicative" and he would pound my "explicative" so hard! That was just part of the highly inappropriate conversation

This is exactly what just happened to me.  Called me dirty names and told me what he was going to do to me.  Disgusting .   Wish i could track him down.

I put this one on speaker because it was unbelievable. Pressing 2 to be removed doesn't work... so I pressed 1. Indian guy. My coworker was sitting beside me telling me the same guy called her Saturday. So "Hello, how are you doing today?" was answered with "Not too good dude, remove my number from your database and quit calling me" ... and he said "I cannnnnnnn't" just like that. I told him what he was doing was illegal, to remove me, "I cannnnn't" and then hung up.
They will call from local numbers so you think-I should answer that, right? They never leave voicemails. They are HORRIBLE.

They've been calling me for months. Always a local #. The other day I pushed 1 just to see what was up. Told the guy'"I don't know. You called me, so how can you help me?" He just repeated "I don't know" for 5 minutes while I left him on speaker, then he hung up. Just now I told them I had $200k in credit debt and first thing he did was ask for my card #'s to verify my debt.. I was like, no. So he asks for the expiration.. wtf. no. I said how can you verify that when you don't even know my name. He said "[***] off" and hung up.

Got the "Veronica with Member Services" call at my business line. It was a local number - spoofed as reported above.   As soon as the recorded voice said "... this is  Veronica with Member Services" I said "F*ck you." the recorded call stopped immediately.

Same thing. They seem to have gone from spoofing a number that is not in service, to just picking a random number that has the same prefix. We even received a call from someone telling us that our number was used.

I've been getting these for months, once my cell number called me with an offer from Member Services!

I have also received the angry calls from locals wanting to know why I called them. Most end decently with both of us being frustrated, a few have ended poorly with the other person swearing at me and calling me all kinds of names.

I hope someone can figure this out and bust this company, this is ridiculous.

Someone spoofed my 16 year old daughter's number with this message from "Veronica". We received about 100 phone calls from local, irate, threatening, people- some claiming to know where we lived. This is scary folks. These are going out to people right here in my home town! I'm afraid someone is gonna get killed by the way some of the phone messages sounded. My daughter is scared to death. She thinks people are stalking her. I went to AT&T and they just brushed it off and offered to change my daughter's number. My response was "but what about all these folks who now know where we live?" Once again they brushed it off and replied "look...it happens all the time- we will just give her a new number".

same useless help from my phone co----I'd have to spend the next 6 months switching to a new number with all of my contacts----and Veronica and her computer at Member Services would probably find me again because phone companies, who could do something about this, refuse to.

these member card services calls with a recorded voice  . says she veronica ,now they are spoofing numbers to get around the do not call list.  when i checked the number they called me on they had used a local number of a volvo dealership here in town. so if i called that number i would only reach the dealership not them. also dont know what their real number is . using a spoof number this way is illegal  but no way to turn in to do not call  either . nothing can be done  to stop the basterd  sob's con crooks .

I have been getting these calls for months!  I'm so tired of it!  Same area code and prefix.  Once I called back as well and got a person who's number was used by the cons.  I've also tried to press 2 and that doesn't work.  How can I stop it?

I have received several calls from this group spoofing their number every time.  Blocking does not work because they just use a new one the next time.  I finally pressed one and told them I was on the Do Not Call list...they just hung up on me.  That did it.  The next time they called it was my turn.  After giving them stupid, made up answers, telling them I don't ever pay my bills and then pretending to be an idiot who couldn't tell a mastercard from a visa card the guy finally told me "this program is not for you" and hung up.  That is 8 minutes of his life he won't ever get back...and 8 of the best spent minutes of mine!  I sure hope they call again soon!

Perfect! When I have the time that is exactly what I do, the longer I can drag it out the better, less time in their day to scam some pour soul!
