Fed up
Country: United States
I have been getting calls for about 6 months. The calls on my display is always a local area code and number, and is always a different local number. If I return call the displayed number I will get a local person that is not associated with the company. They some how clone local numbers and make their scam calls. I have told them several times to stop calling me with no avail.  One time I got a male representative and he started making screaming sounds, how odd is that.
I don't know what to do they will not stop calling so I have to screen every call.

Same problem here. Someone needs to stop Veronica!!  I block her over and over to no avail. Who can we submit our complaints to?  Maybe the state attorney general?

Received call this morning from Veronica.  Caller ID said Twin Cities, MN.  Phone is a local number.  I have received several calls from "Member Services" saying I have been identified as one who has taken advantage of one of their vacation packages in the past.  Apparently they have a special "offer" for me.  Each time I hang up and block the number.  Then they call back on a different number.  Why can't the phone companies protect us from this junk?

The Robo call I just received stated: "This is Veronica from Member Services.  You have been identified by one or more of your lenders as someone who qualifies to have all of your debt eliminated due to violations of the Fair Credit Act.  Press 1 if you want to learn more."  This call also appeared to be from a local number.  It's obvious that "Veronica" and her cohorts are not selling vacation packages or helping people to eliminate their debt.  It seems their only objective is obtaining our credit card numbers.  It's the same scam with the same purpose no matter what the messages say.  All Member Services calls are scams!

I went to Mexico on vacation, I received scam calls from Mexico while there. They became local again when I came back. I pressed "1" to speak to someone to ask to be taken off their list. He said he couldn't, but to call this 800 number 800.739.8255.  I called that and it is a sex talk line.  My husband started screaming and cussing at the guy, and he hasn't gotten any more calls. So..... I guess screaming and cussing is the way to go!!

I have had almost every variation of these calls  Veronica, Rachel, sarah, Susan and probably a few others , lately mostly Veronica, but the same old scam and same lame music.Sadly there must be a few people falling for this scam. These call have been going on for about 20 years now, maybe 30 years.

I act like I can't hear very well and talk super loud. I also act very confused and make the call go on forever...then I tell them I was kidding, can hear just fine, and really enjoyed yelling in their ear for as long as they let me. Since we can't stop the calls, just make it super miserable for the caller...it is the only thing that works for me as I find it very entertaining when I have the time.

Here I used to hang out but now I play along I can keep him on the line almost up to 10 minutes I told this guy I wanted to talk to Veronica and he said she was busy and I said well I heard that Veronica will take it in the ass unlike Rachel from card service and I really would like to meet Veronica so I can [***] her in the [***] he start again indignant with me and then I told him I said well if you give me your credit card number I'll let you watch me put my dick into Veronica's [***] anyway we went back and forth for about another 30 seconds so that he hung up on me you figure that's 10 minutes wasted and I'm sure his slave supervisor will beat him with some [***] later for wasting company time

I would like to know what's in it for them. Why spend time with a useless project?

I am also sick of these calls from Veronica - I block the number and next time it is a new number. This is on my cell phone.  The DO NOT CALL REGISTRY does not work.

Veronica recording called.  I pressed one and when the guy answered i nicely said remove my number and don't call me again.  He responded "F U, Bit**"  "you want me inside you?"  "you are a bit** and a who**"  Really?  Wow. Wish i could track them down.  Who talks that way at work?
