Hello,
I Rahul R have been using this number for the past four and a half years and i just got to know that my sim card has been disconnected due to "NON USAGE" and the number has been recycled.I have validity on the prepaid sim card till September 24th 2011 and even if the connection was being disconnected i think the customer should have been intimated at least in the first place rather than doing it without even letting him know.Moreover now coming to the usage part..I agree that there has not been much outgoing from my mobile phone however if I'm right and this does exist in your records there has been incoming usage on the telephone till 24th of may,So i really have no idea from where the 120 days of non usage thing came into.I tried contacting your customer care and to be frank...the words rude and unhelpful aren't the right adjectives to be used for the way they spoke to a customer.All ihave been hearing from your customer care executives is that the number has been recycled..I mean how can you go ahead and do that with out even informing the customer and the worst reason i heard the first time i called regarding this issue was that the documents were not proper..however that statement was retracted by your agent when i told him i had the photocopies of the document that i had submitted back in september 2010 and then he came back to say the same thing that the number has been recycled.I hope you do look into my case and help me out with what has to be done rather than once again give the same reply that the number has been recycled due to non usage.

Sub : Airtel Simcard Deactivation Problem.
I have bought Airtel prepaid Sim card (Sim Number: 9597426986) Last month at Madurai. I had submitted all relevant documents. That month I got a call from Airtel verification person and I gave my detail about relevant document to verification team. But after one week My Airtel Simcard Blocked Due to Verification. I tried to speak Airtel customer care 121 and 198 but they did not answer after two days I spoke with Airtel customer care they said your card blocked du e to verification. I gave all relevant documents and I got call from verification team. I don’t know how to they block my card.
Two weeks before e I bought another one Airtel Sim Card at Vellore and Simcard Number is 7708898819. I have all relevant details and I have received Verification call from Airtel Verification Team and I gave all detail my parent name my Madurai address .Yesterday (29 May 2012) my Airtel Simcard 7708898819 Blocked and I spoke with Customer Care they replied like ’Your Number is not Airtel Number’ !. I have top up Rs 50 when I Bought sim and Mobile Internet Pack 98 also used but they asked like..
From 29 may 2012 my number has been disconnected. When I call the customer care neither the customer care representative nor the floor supervisor is giving convincing answers.
1. I want to know who exactly from tele -verification called and what was the wrong information they received.
2. I want to get this number activated again. I have distributed this number to everyone.
3. What is the procedure to reactivate this number?
4. Why was an sms not sent to intimate me the issue and why was I not given a period to reply back?

i was with airtel postpaid previously, decided to migrate to prepaid on 22 june 2012
i completed all the procedure in airtel relationship center jayanagar 3rd block
and it was done working good
but all of sudden
on 10th july my number is barred and the reason is during tele-verification call i did not give them the correct details of me! THATS HIGHLY Impossible...
i call up Nodal office and explain the issue in detail and the number gets released,
now on 14july the same thing happens again i cannot tolerate this anymore
i need my number to be activated ASAP.
i even visited the Airtel relationship centre of Jayanagar they say they don't have the authority to release my number...they cant help me !

and this happened over the weekend so i cant get to talk to the Nodal office guys too... i had to spend a weekend without Contacting anyone ..... all this due to a stupid silly reason... thats my number from past 6 years u cant take it away from me just like that....

I followed with customer care, but no help. I read the TRAI guidelines, regarding the de activation.As per the guideline, the customer will get 15 days grace period to re activate the number, after the de activation period,but when I told to TATA customer care representative, they denied out rightly, there is no clause like that in TRAI..........Whereas I am still in the grace period.....Kindly look into the case, and address it.
