Yes I just got call restricted. Same thing 9,200 in grant money. No one gives anything for free especially the government.  Gave me 202-810-9542 # to call with a ID#. They said I had to go buy a iTunes card or some other card for about 200$ in order to register for tge grant proving I didn't apply for a grant and then I could go to western union and receive 9,200. 00. I hung up and told them they r crazy for scamming people, that if someone truly got picked to get grant money from the government there wouldn't be a phone call it woukd be in the mail on government official letter heading or something.  Crazy that this is legal and people and places like this don't get in trouble.

7/20/16 Received the same exact call from Jeff Stevens who barely spoke english. He had my correct address and the call came in as unknown. He gave me  conf#LA652 and tel#206-542-2021 to call to speak with a Sr. Accounting Manager who would provide me with information to claim my $9000 loyalty grant via western union. I did not call. This type of scam needs to be stopped

Wow..I just received one of those, "You have been selected" of 1500 people calls to receive a grant of $8,400. I allowed the guy to speak knowing all the while that he is trying to scam me. I let him go through the motion and then told him to just send the check. He hung up the phone.

I just got a call from Kathryn at 206-317-7485 ext.120 in Virginia. She said I was picked to receive a Loyalty Grant from the US Government for $9000.00 if I go get an Apple I-Tune gift card at Walmart for $250.00 which would be refused to me. Is this a scam?

Got this call today, 1/23/2017.  These folks just don't give up.  It must be effective for it to go on this long.   Similar to a call saying I had won the publishers clearing House prize.  Had to pre-pay 900.00 plus in  taxes over the phone to receive it.  HA.

received call yesterday from a West Virginia number and something offered 9000$ for being a loyal citizen with no criminal record. offered to receive it 3 types of way....card, bank numbers or western union. i was then referred to a second number to speak with the account manager and he wanted me to go to a western union store where he would walk me through the process of paying the 200$ fee to get my money...even gave me his"name" Travis Miller and both people i spoke with had very heavy accents hard to understand. I think it is horrible people could do this to others. I am struggling financially and it was tempting to believe him but thank God i didn't

I didn't even receive calls, they hacked a friend's fb acct and started sending pm's to me saying she had gotten $100,000 from PCH and if I contact Rosa Huggon at 570-437-0710, give my info and purchase a $50 iTunes card, that in 11 hours they would be at my door with $50,000 cash.   Lord knows it would be nice right now, but why scam people?  Such crap!

I just received a call from a Asian woman that sounded very convincing, she said she is from the Treasure Department and I have been selected to receive $9000.00. she also stated I can pick it up at the nearest Walmart, she gave me an ID # of MT### and a phone number to call back the treasure department.the phone # she gave me is 202 792 8628  I know that this was not for real for a Free Loyalty Grant that I never have to pay back  I agreed with her and played along, I looked at the phone caller number it was 952-290- 786  and missing one more digit.
I jump on the Internet to research this bogas Sh^*~ and found this information that I joined to day, " people be smart and stay one step ahead of these Scams "
cause if you get caught U STUPID. Ok.

I have bee getting these phone calls like crazy.  I even received one when I was still on hold with the first caller.  LOL  It's really not funny though because I'm certain many folks will fall for it.  I was asked to purchase a registration card for $250.00, but that I would get it right back.  I told him if that was the case, just to take it out of the $9,000 he was sending me from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.  Of course, he said he couldn't do that.  Then I asked him if I could buy a registration card for $500 and receive $18,000?  I thought he would jump at that, but instead, he hung up.  I guess no one has made the same request and it threw him off.  BEWARE SENIORS!!!
