I saw a commerical on Direct Buy, looked them up online and filled out the form to set up a visit. I knew something was wrong when the Employee stated that we would need to set up a time and spend 90 minutes, for info on the store. Who needs info on the store? I have been shopping for 45 Yrs, I don't need a 90 min meeting to learn about the store- At that point, I said, I wasn't intrested and hung up. I then turned to the Internet and found out why they want to meet with you- they want to charge you an outragious membership fee- Thankfully, I never went in but I can't get them to STOP CALLING my CELL AND HOME PHONE! I have said over and over, remove me from your list and they continue to call! I am not kidding, its every 15 mins, I have saved all the incomming calls- I just called and said remove me! She hung up on me, stupid me, assumed they were calling to inform me that they had removed me but I guess they are so DESPERATE that they will not stop. Be careful- If you don't want to pay anywhere from 5000.00 to 9000.00 a yr membership fees- don't sign up on line with your phone number- they will not stop calling you!

    Want to know the trick, say "push the space bar, click the do not call again button and then hang up" the option to take you off the list is right in front of the DB call room person. A lot of the times they will "NI you" (means not interested and takes you off the list) BUT many of the owners will put you right back in the system. The calls come up on a cycle. They just call what the owners put in the system. I work at the DB call center. We do what we are told to do. Take my advise. Say you either:
    1) under 21
    2)don't make the income requirement
    3) have no credit or debit card or ck book

    These will disqualify you.

    I have asked them to stop calling me as well and I have no idea how they got my number in the first place. They now call me 3 times a day and I tell them to take me off their call list. They are idiots. Decided today to find ways to make it entertaining and screw with them each time they call. I'm thinking about asking them if they will accept cash over the phone...

    They wont stop calling me either. I get about 5 calls a day. And it sounds like the same girl calling me. When I call the number back it said it doesnt exist. I dont know what to do??? I never sign up for direct buy but i cant seem to get them to stop harrassing me

    They called me today from 240-540-7521.  Sounded like an interactive recording.  I said do not call again and hung up.  They call every other day from a different number.  If I don't answer, there is no message.  Well, I can only suppose it's them, because I don't get many crap calls.
