Was left a phone message that a process server, Destiny Brooks, is trying to reach me and to call her back at 866-395-3362. I called and was told I owe money to My Cash Time and they were taking me to court for fraud, taking out a payday loan with no intention on paying it back. They said the called me several times and I did not respond. I asked for more detail, turns out they called me ONCE and left a message back in July of 2011 ten months after the alleged loan. I asked where are they located? The girl, Ashley, on the line said "For what reasoning?" OMG, this is a professional place? For what reason, Ashley...
Anyway, she would not divulge the location even when I said I wanted to send a response and a cease and desist letter, just said she will see me in court and hung up on me.

    Annoyed
ACS called my office line for my husband to say that they were a private investigator and needed to talk to my husband because he was being investigated for fraud. I asked her who they were and what were the charges. She asked me why I was asking so many questions and I said that I was his wife. She said that she could not release any information to me. I of course laughed and said that she was a fraud . I handed the phone to my husband and they wanted to know his birthday etc. Of course he didn't give it to her and she threatened that he would be served. He said go ahead and hung up. It is sad to say that there are a lot of vulnerable people out there that freak out when"SCAM" artist prey upon them. Hopefully these SCUMS will get caught and be thrown in prison.

I got a message today from ACS Litigation. The womans name was Asia Duncan. She stated that she was an agent of the county court and that I had a fraudulent check charge and was being charged with attempting to defraud a financial institution. The number that she gave was 1-866-922-6183. I called and ended up arguing with some woman about my last name. They had a previous last name. I asked the woman what this was about and she asked for the last 4 of my social security number. I refused to give it to her and she got even madder than she already was and told me that that she would put that I refused to cooperate and that they were sending my stuff "back out" then she hung up on me. I called back and got a different lady who asked for the last 4 of my social and I again refused. I asked her if this was concerning a bill and she said no. I asked her what is this about and she said she couldn't give me any info without the last 4 of my social and for me to call back when I was ready to give her the information.

My son received a call by this company who were looking for me and they told him that they were with the US Marshall's office and gave him a badge number and everything.  I don't the law that well, but it seems like impersonating a police officer to me.  Scare tactics from nothing more than a bill collector who have no legal authority to do anything but annoy you.

It's also my understanding that the behavior is impersonating a law enforcement officer.
It's also my understanding that US Marshalls work out of different regions/offices and have different divisions, just as any law enforcement agency.
A legit "cop" will provide the agency, department, main telephone number and extension as well as badge # so you can feel more confident when calling them back.  (at which point, you get on the internet and verify the information and probably call your local police and ask them if this info is correct!)

Btw, using the cop tactic is pretty stupid ... the only cops you see on tv warning people about warrants, etc are "dirty cops" wanting payola ... ROFLMAO ...DUH!  No REAL (legit) cop would do that.

    PISSED
I recieved a call today on my cell phone which is unlisted stating that if i dont not talk to someone that they will take me to court. So i called back and got a guy named Bryant Jones which was very rude telling me my balance was $650 from 2007 but if I paid them $260 today they would leave me alone. I told him he was crazy if i was paying something with out proof. He stated they couldnt send me proof that i just needed to pay it. Which of course i procedded to tell him i wasnt going to pay unless I got it. He then stated that he will see me in court and all i said was take me. So a few moments later i called back to get more infor on them they had someone on my references that i didnt know til 2011 and had more references on there with the wrong last name. I would just like to find out how they can know my social bithday and checking accounts if they dont even know who i know how long ive  known them and cant get mine nor my  mothers name right. How can i get this to stop?

I got the same line of BS from them, they presented themselves as lawyers.  I filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office of NY and the FTC.

Yea ive been receiving calls from the same acs, aka acs litigations firm all the above. A rude ass stacie adams called and also a "processor server" lauren green as well. Claiming  criminal charges of defrauding a financial institution. When I did not cooperate the rude ass hung up saying ill see you in court. Even though under the fair debt collection act lenders and collectors are prohibited from threatening or beginning criminal proceedings against you if a check or electronic debt you provide the lender bounces. Stacie adams the shoe designer wanted no part and threatened to see me in court.

Here's an updated number for everyone to watch out for 1-855-259-8684. ACS just tried to call me with their usual scare tactics. (ie. lawsuit, police, arrest) I filed a complaint with the FTC because my state Attorney General's Office said that they forward everything over to the federal level regarding this company. They are all aware of ACS and what they try to do to people. I was also informed that everyone needs to file the complaints with the FTC so that the complaints can be registered on the federal level.

    Mrs. Santiago to You
So I just got a call from an 855-256-1930 and when I called them back I was told that I was calling ACS Litigation and that they were going to have me served by the end of the day because of an outstanding debt with Citibank and they will be holding my bank funds and yada yada yada. I told her that she was more than welcome to do as she says and that when and if we appear before a judge he/she will see that I can barely make my rent, much less pay down some outrageous inflated balance that I owed once upon a time. BEWARE!
