As a seasoned veteran of being on the receiving end of collection agency correspondence, I have always been weary when someone calls with threats to either visit my place of employment (a neat trick considering I am retired) or come to my home (which is tantamount to suicide). I will continue to ignore such individuals and encourage anyone reading this to do the same by carefully screening their phone calls and never answering calls from 800, 866 or 888 area codes. Also, NEVER return any calls made from any individual stupid enough to leave threatening messages, doing so may be interpreted as acknowledgement of fraudulent debt and could weaken any lawsuit or counteraction. When in doubt, call your local Better Business Bureau. Usually, a straight answer is found there.

    You guys are so stupid. Ive never seen people so scared and whiny about a phone call especially a wrong number phone call. You are all the type to go to the ER at a hospital when you get a paper cut. You all are getting harassed? Boohoo.... When someone calls me and i dont like it, i dont get on the internet and complain about it then tell everyone "ohhh noooo its a scammm everybody watch outttt hide your kids and hide your wallets everybody is coming for you!!!!" lmao sissys

      John look at the site your on. Complaintwire! Who is the stupid one here? I've never seen anyone so offended by people letting others know about a scam. You are the type that sit in your parents basement and troll the internet to find people bringing attention to scams and then acting they are the ones that are weird. LOL Get a job and stop trolling the internet complaint boards.

    I just received a call from AMSG , stating that it was in regards to a transaction that occurred attached to my name and ssn . They ask  me to return the call at 1.866.217.2343. When I called back, it was a recording stating this number cannot receive calls,. This is a scam......... Be careful

    Received a call, computer generated stating they were Legal Processing.  The call was left on voicemail for my adult son.  I called to find out what type of company it was and they said it was ASMG & Assoc. and asked for my son.  I asked what type of company it was and the woman started yelling at me and said she isn't going to go there and it is none of my business and they want my son.  I told them never to call my number again.  I can not find any information regarding them on the internet and therefore will not pass the message on.  If she was ligit then she would have no problem in telling me what type of company they were as I did not ask for any specific's.  the number they gave me to call back is 888 288 5346.

    Received a call from 8774561342 and was told that I owed $450, when I told them I was not working, they told me that I had to pay that amount or I would have to go to court. When I told them we would have to go to court, they told me I could not afford a attorney, I informed them that I could get a Pro Bono attorney that would love to take this case. They hung up on me. I guess that they do not want to talk to someone that has worked with the law.

    I've been getting these calls every 3 to 6 months for the pass 5 years.  It is a scam!  I told them to send me the documentation of what I did and owed and they hung up on me.  Don't send them any money it is a SCAM!
