I continually receive phone calls from Credit Card Services. On this recorded call you are told that you can press the number 3 on your phone and your phone number will be removed. When you press 3 you are immediately disconnected. If you ask to speak to a representative, when you try to tell them that you do not want them to call you, you are disconnected before you can even finish your statement.
To try and resolve this, I called their phone number 1-877-999-3872. When I received an automated answer, the asked for my account number. I waited and I received a message if I need to report a stolen or lost card I should press 1. When I pressed one I was asked to enter my account number or if I didn't know the number, press "0". After doing this a person answered the line and asked me for my name. I told her that I was not calling to report a stolen card, that I was going to call every day, like they call me! She put me through to another person who said that she would remove my number. I told her that I would see and that if I still received calls that I would call over and over again.
If everyone would do this, it would disrupt their business so much that it may cause some type of results.

Allegedly, they are customer service for First USA.
    https://www.cardmemberservices.com/ccp/index. ... page/contact_us

It appears that First USA is part of Chase.
    https://www.chase.com/index.jsp?pg_name=ccpma ... /privacy-notice

Never call numbers provided by strange callers.  If you have an account with either First USA or Chase, and you receive a call, call back via the customer service number on your credit or debit card.

If you continue to get these calls in error, contact Chase executive offices.  They should be able to assist you in removing your number from their calling information.

Watch out for sales calls from your bank, its affiliates, or marketing partners.  Often these are actually by third party telemarketers with enough information from your bank to sign you up for worthless "credit insurance" or similar products without your permission.  They have often been caught engaged in deceptive and fraudulent telemarketing.

If you are receiving sales calls from affiliate or marketing partners of your bank, and you do not wish to receive such calls, contact your bank to set your GLB privacy settings to block information sharing.  The sales calls should stop.

I get these calls every week.  Contacting the banks as mentioned doesn't do anything.  They can't be bothered to track down scammers.
File a complaint with the do not call list (FTC), the FCC and your state attorney general.
You want to take a bite out of crime, do this and it will bite them in the butt.

Sandy, What good would it do to contact these companies. My sister was recently scammed by them. They charged her credit card $ 1995.00. Still trying to get it reversed. Chase has denied the dispute twice. Wish I knew how to help her.

I got calls from them almost everyday.  I usually hang up right away.  One time I was tire about getting the calls from them and I decided to wait for a live person.  A man answered and told me he could save me money by reducing the interest rate on my credit card and asked me for the credit card number.  I asked him to first tell me who they were and what rate they could give me.  He avoided answering me.  Than I asked him to put my number in their "do not call" list and do not call me again.  He said, "No way. You mother fxxxxx!"  I am still getting calls from them almost everyday.

I have been recieving several calls a week for the last year.  I use to hang up on them, then listened long enough to hear you could push a button to not recieve more calls, which never happened.  So then I would push the button to talk to a real person and state "they bothered me, so I am bothering them". The last time I got a real person I asked "what do I have to do to discontinue these calls, give you my credit card number?"z9z6 And was told yes. Then I stated I do not give out my credit card number, so what do I have to do change my number? I was told yes, I'd either have to give them my credit card number or have my phone number changed, then she hung up on me.

I just called the number from the first post and got to talk to another person that answered (I called on my cell, the calls where coming on the landline) and gave her my landline number and was told she would put a block on it, it may take 30 days tho.  I will be a happy camper in a month if it works.

Yeah right...so what are you reporting?  A false caller ID so DNC doesn't really have anything to go on.  The only way you you might be able to catch these A$$holes is to trace the call which costs you big bucks.
They know what they are doing and know how to get around the laws and Uncle Sam doesn't care enough to try to put these people out of business so just get used to the calls and put up and shut up cause US doesn't care and won't do anything.

I receive too many of these calls from "Credit Card Services".  I think they are located in Florida (but not sure).  When I ask them where they are located and what is their phone #-- they often hang up.  Sometimes they do give a phone #, but it is not theirs--  it is a Chase Bank # (as given in the above posting)or Visa.

So--  if they give you a phone #:  it is NOT their #.

I get these calls all the time and when I get a real person I ask them who they are and how they got my number and they hang up on me every time. When I redial the number it is no longer in service. They piss me off to no end.

Today after so many phone calls I waited for someone to help me.
I asked her for the company phone number, she laughed and hung up on me.
This afternoon I will be going to Bass pro shops to buy one of those ships horn blaster things. I recommend everyone to do the same.
Next time they call I wait for the live person to come on. PREPARE FOR PERMANENT EAR DAMAGE [***]. Keep calling me.One by one you will go on disability

Doesn't do any good to press 3 or to talk to a person.  In newest permutation, you're disconnected either way.  I believe it's a way of seeing when you're home and they're selling the info to other solicitors. I have filed numerous complaints with FTC.  Nothing.

I have also fell victim to Ambrosia Web Design LLC which is anothe Corp owned by Chris Ambrosia who also owns Concord Financial Advisors LLC. Both are based in Tempe AZ. I have also filed an FTC Complaint against them. I am still fighting the $1498.00 credit card charge they charged me and refused to cancel during the original call with them when it became clear this was a scam.

I just got duped by these people. My credit card company called me, they thought the charge 1995.00 was fraudulant. The card has been cancelled. The card company new it was done by CAM services. Hanging up is your best bet. I am on the state and national no call list. What good has that done??

I think if enough of you file a formal complaint, some action might take place.  The place to file is:https://www.donotcall.gov/.  Give all the details of the last call to you received.  You might also refile your phone
numbers in the do not call list at the same site.  Can't hurt.  According to the above site, it is illegal for them to call you with a recorded message.  Lets gang up on the [***] and cause so much noise that it cannot be ignored.
