    The benefits suck.  Lunch is only 30 minutes.  Who can choke on a crumb in 30 minutes!!??  The environment is VERY ghetto and unprofessional.  A lot of high school graduates with no college education work there.  A lot of them are Black Americans.  They use profanity while working (Kim Edmunds, a.k.a., Greasy, raunchy, loud, unprofessional, black [***]) and the customers can hear it in the background while speaking with the agent who's on the line.  They eat and leave crumbs all over the place.  Get this:  The AVP's/Supervisors/Lead persons are arrogant, because they make a WHOPPING $30,000/yr.!!!  Woo hoo!  They don't like to help you if you have questions, they don't like to speak with the customers when they ask to speak with a supervisor (JoAnn Webb, who was a big [***].  She finally retired), and most of them are very dumb.  (Paige Davis) The regular agents know more than a lot of them.  The agents can't even check their e-mail accounts.  We have e-mail addresses:  John.Doe@iqor.com; but we can't even use them.  How weird is that?  There is no introduction or training on the benefits that they provide.  Training is awful (Dawn Sarles, a.k.a. [***]), and they use people who are not certified to train.  Almost everyone in management is Indian or Latino.  They treat them like the cream of the crop.  [***].  They all sit in one area.  They have us segregated.  The girls are always pregnant.  And they always get ahead faster.  Instead of promoting the employees that are already there, they will bring in an entry-level immogrant, and promote them to supervisor or manager after only a few months of them working there and they don't know [***].  It's one of the worse places to work for!

    I am an iQor employee, and I have thought about doing that.  I also have the number to corporate.  Some changes are going to be made or this company is leaving town.

    I don't even know how I got to this rant site...but I am not surprised at what I see. I definately see why iQor employees are unhappy. However, do you really have the right to throw peoples names around the way you did. I notice your name is not up there. If you are so unhappy there...why are you still there? Your comments are hateful and racist. You slander people you don't even really know. Did you ever stop to think that some of the managers/supervisors feel the same way you do but didn't feel it necessary to rant and plaster your name all over the internet. You say that a lot of people with only high school diplomas work there with no college education...this tells me you MUST be a college graduate? Perhaps...but you obviously didn't learn much in college! And college most definately didn't give you any class! So how about you just find a new place of employment where people meet your oh so high standards. Oh and remember...Karma is a B***H. One day it will all come back around at YOU!

    Do the training staff have any knowledge of the laws pertaining to collections?
    This company oversteps the legal rights that collection agencies have on a regular basis.
    I receive up to thirteen calls a day from them even though they still have not sent me written confirmation of who they are collecting for, the amount due, verification of their authority to collect this debt, and a copy of the original contract bearing my signature which i requested over two years ago.
    Nor will they acknowledge that public disability cheques like ODSP are excempt from garisheement as outlined in the ODSP Act with the exception of Government debt, child or spousal support etc.  This is knowledge that any collection agency should be aware of and is readily available on the Ontario Disability Support Program website as well as many government websites outlining the Collections laws.
    IQOR refuses to acknowledge any of the legal rights that consumers have and like to threaten law suits that they have no intention of carrying out.
    The  crappy way they treat their staff is evident in the way one poor girl actually broke down in tears when i told her i wanted to speak to her supervisor after she insulted me and begged me to deal with her instead and hung up the phone rather than transfer me.

    First of all your wrong as hell about Iqor. Maybe your complaining cause you couldn't make any money there. Also it's normal for females to get pregnant, people do have families. Maybe you don't. If your gonna talk about African Americans, dont be a racist. Maybe it was a long time since you worked there. Now the company hires people that know how to do the job. You should take your [***] somewhere else and to some who cares.

    i cant speak for you people doing collections at iqor....but ive been with the company for a while now...im doing customer service and have been making well over 30k...its very very easy to get promoted at iqor doing customer service. Now this is not a career its just a good job for students to make ends meat while attending college...if your in your high 20's-40's working there or you got suckered by our collections department b/c you dont understand your legal rights you have my sincerest pity. The house joint resolution 192,june 5,1933 states that one cannot demand a certain form of currency that they want to recieve if it is dollar for dollar as ALL CURRENCY IS YOUR CREDIT!!If they do, they are in breach of contract HJR 192. You have already accepted this contract and now they must perform. Pursuant to the contract with the corporation that you are discharging the debt of and HJR 192, they must give you a Letter of Release or Payment in Full. If you have not recieved the release with in 14 days then send a DEFAULT and contact a notary to do a process that will give you a CERTIFICATE OF DISHONOR, because they are in breach of the contract at this time.

    Black Americans aren't the only people in the world that uses profanity and leave crumbs everywhere. I'm sure there are more than just LATINO and INDIAN supervisors.And last time I checked you didn't need a COLLEGE DEGREE to earn a living. My "Black American" husband has a bachelors degree he currently makes 80k and that exspensive degree didnt help him reach that tax bracket by any means. This post is filled with RACISM and IGNORANCE and did not help me at all.

    IQOR is a collection business that WOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS if you irrespondible people would pay your debts! It is a stressful career, however, most of the agents are willing to come to a resolution with the debtor.

    Iqor is a scam company.If you pay your'so called' bill.They dont report it, keep the money and just change the name.If you have a legitimate bill owing deal with that company alone. Debt collectors are the lowest form of bottom feeder and anyone that works for these guys are obvious losers.

    This is a lawsuit to recover straight time and overtime pay for call center workers employed by iQor. The Amended Complaint we filed on April 3, 2015 alleges that iQor uses a timekeeping system called TimeQey that systematically underpays workers employed as contact center agents, customer care agents, collections agents, new business agents, student loan agents, and sales agents (collectively, “CCAs”). More specifically, the Amended Complaint alleges that iQor’s timekeeping system does not pay CCAs for time when their computers are “idle” for two minutes or more, regardless of whether CCAs performed compensable work or should otherwise be paid for the time. In addition, the Amended Complaint alleges that iQor failed to compensate CCAs for the full duration of their rest breaks. The Amended Complaint seeks to recover unpaid wages at CCAs’ regular pay rate, known as straight-time wages, unpaid overtime wages, and other damages and penalties.

    Nichols Kaster is working on this matter with attorneys Douglas L. Micko and Vildan Teske of Teske, Micko, Katz, Kitzer & Rochel, PLLP.

    If you worked as a CCA—regardless of location—and were scheduled to work more than 40 hours in a week at least once in the past three years, you may have a claim for unpaid overtime wages. To assert a claim for overtime wages, you must complete a Consent Formand return it to us immediately for filing with the Court.

    Even if you were not scheduled to work more than 40 hours at any time in the past three years, you may still have a claim for straight-time wages.
