So how does rude equal scam? A Scam would mean that they don't provide a service for the money. Maybe the guy just thinks you're a dumbass for turning down a great product. And if this is the way you respond maybe you should think about how rude you are to the people that are calling you. Remember, that is another human being on the end of that line that you treat so badly.

    PBH LLC SCAM
Yep, note that this "internet marketing company" is not only changing their name quickly when they feel the heat from the customer complaints, but they also intentionally hide their web sites from Google so they can hide their promotional web sites.  The directinternetplacement.com site and directlocalsolutions.com but are being hidden from Google with by blocking Google from spidering their web site.

That is why when you type in "Direct Internet Placement" or "Direct Local Solutions", these guys are no where to be found.  The only way to find their web site listed on Google is by typing in "directinernetplacment.com" (the full, exact URL.

Amazingly, some people still buy from a company that claims to do Google marketing but hides their web sites from Google rather than promote their own web site.  Every legitimate Google Marketing company does not hide their site from Google.  They actually promote themselves on Google.  If you owned a legitimate marketing company, wouldn't you promote yourself?

Someone is doing a good job tracking these new names down.  Keep it up and maybe you can save more unsuspecting business owners from their con job.

    Performance Media Placement Scam

    http://www.directinternetplacement.com/robots.txt

As you can see this company is hiding it's new domains from every search engine on the planet. These new domains are not indexed by Google, Yahoo, MSN or any other service that provides search, nor do they want the sites to be stored in archive.org for obvious reasons. Why all the hiding Carl, Duane and Mikey boy? I thought you only needed to market under Performance Media Placement SCAM! Reach Local has hundreds of resellers and they don't have to use different URL's or company names. What gives? Is the FTC that hot on your trail you need to run and hide in the shadows using domain and company names you are too scared to promote publicly? Please, enlighten us on why your sales people perform better SEO on your websites through posting all these URLs on complaint sites and actually get top ranking.

This message is from an actual "prospective" client. I received calls from this number from a very rude, condescending man. When I told him I wasn't interested in his services he told me that I didn't know how to run my business, he would sell his product to someone else and I could sit with my thumb up my a** and wonder where my rentals were going! He actual sang some of this to me and sang "woohooo" at the end of his rant. WTF???? What an idiot! Please don't reply to this saying Im a disgruntled exemployee of your company. I am not. I am a very successful business person, that does fall for such garbage from Internet marketers that cry like babies when they don't get a sale.

        BWAHAHA replies to Kathie
If you were successful then you wouldn't have time to be coming here whining about how rude some telemarketer was to you. Sounds like you were the one that was condescending. I have found that you get back what you put in to a conversation. And you sound like the typical self important douche that thinks how DARE someone call me and try to sell me something. And you treat the person on the other end like [***] and that's how you get treated in return. And if you refuse to stay with the times in regards to marketing then you are going to be sitting there with your thumb up your butt wondering where all your sales went.

Please ignore this blog, as it was written by Charles Lloyd

And Scam? You wish Charles. We actually place people on the first page of google.com. Amazing concept. You on the other hand have a huge FTC settlement against you for scamming people through medical forms, selling toolbar scams, selling fake jewlery at county affairs, and cheating on your wife. We didn't blog Befoundmarketing.com, your new website, but you assumed we did and have written these blogs. Not cool.

Care to state your name and back that up Markman?  I'm prepared to swear under oath that you are lying about my involvement in your problems.  State your name to back up your claim that I'm somehow involved in these blogs about PBH or whatever you guys call yourselves now.  State your name and back it up.

I have the texts - never mind - I'm suing your ass.

I was actually looking into Performance Media Placement for a potential client of mine and stumbled over this blog. The bottom line is this. There are a number of companies out there who provide a service to small and medium sized businesses to get their information on the first page of Google. They ALL charge for this service. The good companies monitor their client's campaigns daily to maximize quality and quantity of click throughs. This is a time consuming service and well worth the expense. I know of numerous companies who attempted their own adword campaigns and discovered that it's a heck of a lot of work. Google has recently established a 100% transparency policy for all Google adword resellers. This policy requires the reseller to divulge to the client exactly how much of the client's money is spent on their online media budget and how much is spent on commissions, administration, etc.. The standard for most companies has been 20-30% towards adwords, 70-80% on commissions and admin. Google recently did a mailing of hundreds, if not thousands of coupons for $100.00 in free adwords if a business would sign up and do an adwords campaign directly with Google. My understanding is that this campaign was less than successful. The reason? Most business owners do not have the time or the inclination to set up and then monitor and manage such a campaign. Google changes it's algorhythms on a regular basis and this needs to be accounted for, monitored and then managed. My company does all of these things for our clients. We guarantee in writing that the client will have his business featured on the first page of Google, on a rotational basis, in a geographically appropriate area. We place our clients on the Google content network,( 195 other websites), Bing, Yahoo, AOL, contextual advertising on Facebook and over 90 search directories,(yellow pages etc). Also included are Google Maps, Yahoo Maps and all GPS manufacturers. We are a Google Adwords Certified Partner. My clients have the option to run a "Competitive", an "Agressive" or a "Market Leader" campaign and our rates are between $400.00 and $1,000.00 per month. We provide analytics so that the client can see exactly how many page views, impressions and driving directions they received each month. We also show what average position that client occupied on the first page of Google.

Like any other line of business, there are pushy salespeople and pleasant salespeople. Trust your gut and work with a company that explains their program, divulges how they spend your money, (it is YOUR money after all), and doesn't leave you with the feeling that you have just showered in used cooking oil. I would be happy to discuss an online campaign with anyone who has an interest. Just drop me an email at MyBestLocalSearch@gmail.com and I will give you ALL of the details. Thanks for reading and good luck. It's the Wild West out there and you deserve a decent frontier trailblazer.
