Unbelievable.  This number calls five or six times a week.  I have entered our information into their "do no call" system.  I have called the number back and done so again.  This time I decided to wait on the line for someone.

Once, the first time I tried to speak with someone after waiting on hold, the person I got just hung up on me the minute I said, "Put me on your--".  This time, I just flat out asked to speak to a supervisor.

The guy gets on the line.  I told him that all of this continual calling constituted as harassment.  I told him to put us on the do not call list.  He started to tell me that they have so many different numbers that there was just no way for them to make sure all the different offices had the same information.  Um, share a database much?  Then he went on to say that that was the first time they'd called me.  UNREAL.  It's not.  It's very clear here on our display.  So then he asks me what the number is-- I tell him 503-902-8482.  He says... -gaspshockhorror- "That's not our number."  I said, "So you're telling me that your standing in that location and the number you're calling me from is not your number."  "That's what I'm telling you," he says.  I was gobsmacked.  I said, "That doesn't make any logical sense.  The number you're calling me from shows up right here."  And then, kicker of all kickers, he says, "I said exactly what I'm saying.  I didn't stutter."

My jaw was on the floor.  I couldn't believe the audacity.  I said, "You're some piece of work, [***]."  And I meant it, too.  In response he said, "I'm too much of a Christian to say the word, but you're a C, honey.  You can go ahead and fill in the last three letters."

I'm pretty sure that's the crusade Christ would have set upon.  To upend the horrible C___ who had the GALL to ask that her phone be put on a do not call list.

This place?  It should be shut down.

These people are indeed relentless in their calling.

I have also put our numberS on a do not call list andin the national registry, but they seem to think they are above this and can call anyway.

It all boils down to this policial BULLCRAP that they are trying to feed you.

I dont need someone telling me how to cast my vote . . . I dont need someone telling me this and that about the oher guy . . .

I am an adult, I can make up my own mind and make my own choices . . .

I am also a Pastor, and I know how to vote my conscience and my heart to what I FEEL IS RIGHT . . .

I no longer have it but I found that a coast guard whistle worked great for stopping repeat phone calls to my number. Since I am now receiving these annoying calls again, sounds like time to invest in another one. It won't help with the machines calling but works wonders on people.

Pacificitel calls everyday along with jamakian #'s they are looking for my elderly mom who must have talked to them once. Now I can't get rid of them. I tell them she moved and I give them the local police # so at least they will also have list Of the numbers too   They've called me names too.  There are just too many numbers to write down. It's driving us to drop our landline

Many shysters hide behind the guise of SURVEYS, CHARITIES ETC.  In this day and age you never know 'Who' you are really talking with.  I talk with NO ONE. I never answer my phone unless I know 'who' is calling, once you 'answer' they 'Have Your Number" and they will not only call you time after time but 'sell' your number to other illegal scammers.  Also if you follow their suggestion to 'opt out' you have only given these shysters confirmation of your number.  Many are just 'mining' for people to prey on, especially the 'robo callers'.

I just got a call from Pacifictel, 253-382-9904.  I have received many calls from them 503-468-5935, 503-902-8479 ... I have never answered and will not.  Years ago I bought a "tele-zapper" and I think it really worked for awhile.  The idea behind it was to send a signal back to the computerized call that my number was not a working number.  It must have fizzled out, I'm getting calls.

Received a call that read Pacifictel with the number 253-382-9904. In order for them to not tie up my phone line, I pick up and immediately hang up. Have done this numerous times.

    253-382-9904
    253 382 9904
    2533829904

    Caller ID= PACIFICTEL

    Sample of the many aliases:

    503-468-5935
    503-468-5198
    503-468-5144

    Caller ID= PO AMERICA

The usual from these scumbags. Repeated, unabated calls.
They'll stop for a while, then restart, usually with a new phone number
Calling back & selecting option to be removed is bogus, of course, they just call again from a diffferent number in their VAST pool.

    pretend to be survey
    pretend to be political
Real purpose is to scam into a vacation offer/cruise/vacation club, etc

    202-570-7291
    206-397-1100

All scams and all annoying, they are calling my personal cell and business cell just minuets apart. We are also on the DNC list. I am going in search of an app to block these nubers but I also really like the whistle idea. :)

I have received numerous calls from Pacifictel.  I have hit the number indication that I no longer wish to receive calls from them, but it does no good.  Just a few minutes ago, on 4/30/2012, I got another call .  This time I selected to do their survey--three questions on politics, and was then transferred to a "Receive a free cruise" travel agent of some kind.  I explained the problem, and the agent was RUDE to ME!  He said that I opted for the call, and that there was nothing that he could do about it.

The number that was left on my answering machine recording was 253 382-9904.

email: customerservice@politicalopinionsofamerica.org; also the website is www.politicalopinionsofamerica.org and on their website they tried to throw "us" off because the email is all wrong. I had to tweek it to make it go through and it finally went through after I took out the "www." after the @ symbol and they spelled opinions wrong on their website as well in the email address. They have called our business over 50 times this morning alone and I spoke directy with the "2 day free cruise" which is carribbean cruise lines (carribbean cruise is taking no responsibilites for the calls so its pointless to try and get them to stop the calls.) Anyways just send an email to the email and the beginning of this message. Thanks

Just got my first crap call from Pacifictel - they didn't leave a message on my answering machine.

I appreciated hearing from others that I'm not the only one suffering.

If I'm here and they call, I'm going to string those [***] along. I'm going to order whatever they are selling, giving them a false name and address and a make-up credit card number.  I'll chat real friendly-like and when the man/woman has his/her guard down, I'll unleash some equisitely phrased obscenities, coupled with a remark that I'm calling my brother the FBI agent.  Ha!  Ha!

They call every few days.  It is harassment.  They are calling my business cell phone and interrupting my work and meetings.  I am sick of it.

Live in Illinois they keep calling. 971-373-2931 when you call the number back they tell you it is a disconnected number. I finally held on today and talked to someone they told me they are working with the local electric company. So far I have not been able to find anything out about this. They do call constantly.

I live in Illinois, too. I get at least one phone call a day from Pacifictel. In the spring, around the time of the Illinois primary, they asked me if I would be interested in answering a political survey. "No." Now when they call it has something to do with giving me information about an alternative electric company that wants to provide service in my area. "No, not interested."
I have answered the phone a couple of times, talked to a human being, told them I was not interested in taking their survey or hearing about their alternative utility company, and yet they still call.
My phone number is unlisted and I'm on the Do Not Call registry.

I just received a call from this phone number and I waited until I heard a voice on the other end then I blasted them with my handy airhorn which is nearby (I picked some up from the Dollar Store and they really do pack a whallop) - that should about do it but I am ready if they call again

An air horn most likely will do nothing to stop the calls but it could get you in trouble f the person on the phone has hearing damage from the horn.  The problem is this company is using as auto dialer and the reps have no control over what numbers are being dialed. Normally the calls are transferred to a rep after someone answers the call.  I heard of a case of someone being sued for blowing a rape whistle into the phone causing hearing damage to the rep on the phone.  Scumbag company does not care and intentional infliction of physical harm is actionable and you would have to either a lawyer in whatever state the suit was filed in or travel there yourself to defend yourself if a suit is filed.  Sucks but that is the way the justice system works.  As far as the phone numbers go they are most likely using a number of different VoIP lines and spoofing there numbers. I did an NXX on the nu,bee they called me on and found it registered to L3 communications. I have worked with this company before and they are a very real telco and not in the business of telemarketing so that leads me to believe that the nuber is just being spoffed or was newly assigned and the records are not complete yet.  If I get any more calls I am going to contact L3 and file an complaint with them.
Just my cents but id I were you I would not blow the air horn into the phone. It cold come back at you badly and I do not think telling a judge you were tired of the calls is going to be a legally justifiable reason.
On the other hand if you are on the Do Not Call registry and you told them not to call you again you can sue the company.

They call about once a week to my work phone, which I don't use for anything not work related, so I'm not sure how they got it.

The Pacifictel number that calls me is 360-474-3971.  They hang up as soon as I answer.
