This morning I got several calls from 1-876-860-5930 from a man calling himself David William and another name Andrew Wilson.

They claimed it was my lucky day and that I won 1.5 Publishing clearing house money.  I knew it was a scam so I sat carefully and listened as they provided codes and package numbers.

The catch was, I should go to a Wal-Mart of CVS pharmacy and buy a cash card for $1300.00 and call back with the code. I called the police but they said if I did not give out my personal information I was save.  These scams are coming from all over the world.

Just recieved a claa from a man claiming to be Peter Banks telling me I had won the Globel International Lottery.  He told me the same as everyone else, that I should purchase a Green Dot Money Pack Card for $92 and then call him with the number and someone was going to bring me a check for $2.5 million dollars.  My son called the number and told the gentleman that we were reporting them to the police.  The man prentended that he could not hear what my son was saying.  Lucky for me my son was home. Watch out for these people.

I too have been contacted by this group today.  For fun, I followed up on their suggestion but couldn't even find anyone selling the money scratch card.  Of course, I had no intention of buying one!! Then I looked it all up on the internet and again, of course, found that it was a complete scam as I knew it must be!! Once I told them that I had checked them out on line, they hung up and hopefully will not call again.  The phone # also began with an 876....the rest seems to change frequently.

Got the call today... Claimed he was from Publishers Cleaing House. 2.5 MM and a 2013 Mercedes Convertible Would be arriving with the camera crew, marshalls, etc... He gave me a confirmation number I would need to give them. All I would need to do is get the Green Dot Money Pack Scratch-Off Card valued at 504.95 from Wal-Mart and call him back. He even asked how long it would take me to do this! I was google-ing (spelling?) as we spoke. He repeatedly told me that I needed to have confidence in him and get this money card. He asked if I would do this and I replied that I instead was going to report him and his number as a scam. He Hung up.

so this guy calls me this morning & wakes me up...I live on Maui & the time change always makes it kinda off for calls from other parts of the world. Anyway, he tells me that i've won 3.5 million dollars from the "publishers clearing warehouse" due to my phone number & the fact that i have shopped at walmart and great credit. Unfortunately. i have lousy credit and i hate walmart....ive been there once in 2 years and never given my phone # or used any card there. Much as i'd have loved to have won millions of dollars and believable as this prick was? he told me that i had to goto my local walgreens to purchase a green moneypak scratch card in order to avoid taxation on my winnings & in order for delivery to proceed, He asked wether i'd prefer a public ceremony with paparazzi and a grand announcement via media...else would I prefer to keep my 3.5 million dollar winnings private? Then told me that he'd stay on the line while I got my children out of bed and in the car to head down for the 30 minute drive to walgreens. I told him that I needed to get it together and use the bathroom. etc. before leaving the house and bundling the kids up.....and he encouraged me to be very cautious and drive slowly and to keep my winnings to myself. Gotta admit....I was very psyched to believe this guy despite the absurdity. And once I got him off the phone for the 20 minutes he gave me to get myself and the babies in the car? I looked this [***] up & realized that publishers clearing house doesnt ever charge their winners. I was sorely bummed that i'd lost $3.5 million & extremely psyched that i'd not spent the last few hundred dollars of our grocery money for this idiocy, What a shame & if only.....
    beware of (876)860-9733 from Jamaica.

I also rec'd calls today had my hopes up also but down deep new it was a scam. I have entered once on line for pch and all of sudden get this call. They said I won $850 million and mercedez but first I had to register for the prices by purchasing those green money pak cards for $483 for car and $498 for the money. He assured me that I would be refunded back the money once they delivered the prices. And yes they were in a hurry and I wasn't suppose to tell anyone about it. Well I told my girlfriend and immediatly said its a scam. Well we went to CVS and asked the clerk and they said to report to police. We hung up the phone 3 times and they kept calling back. Girlfriend answered acouple times boy they didn't like that, she had all kinds of questions for them, insisted that I new what to do. Needless to say we didn't do anything but sure would of been nice. Also at 1:45pm that day all these people would be showing up at door step to award me the prices. Also a 876 number. Wasted my perk min. on my cell phone for sure.

These jerks took advantage of an elderly family member.  Dont tell anyone, its a surprise, do you want a big party or small one? Just send the IRS taxes and we'll send you the money. Unfortunately she fell pray to these losers.  Their mothers must be very proud, taking from someone who probably has less than they do. it was an 876 number and my relative thought it was an 800 number, so please be careful and don't give out any money, information, etc to anyone.

Same as everybody else. Got a call from a David Kennedy saying he was from PCH. I was a 2nd place winner. I won a million dollars and a new Mercedes Benz. Didn't trust it from the beginning. Listened to his speel, could hardly understand him at times, sounded far away muffled like. Told me that they were about a half hour away from me and that they were bringing me the check and car this evening. All I needed to do was go to Walgreens and get a moneypak scratch off card for $200. That would be used along with ID  before they would hand over the million dollar check and car. I asked why I needed to get the moneypak, and was told tax purposes for the million $. I went along with it. Finished dinner and went out side. Nobody showed up with a check or car but got alot of restricted calls with in 2hours. Was given a # to call which I never did, but got calls from 876 581 8493

Mike Andersons, you won 5.5 Million, and a brand new 2013 Mercedes Benz. Never asked for my name, or address. just told me to buy some green money pack scratch card. He was a old guy with an accent, couldn't understand anything he was saying. I am only 16, I can't receive the prize(s), so he didn't even know if I was eligable, male or female or where I lived, Hung up after reading some of these post!

I got this same call too just now! From 876-585-0789 in Jamaica, Queens, NY. Same schtick as everyone has mentioned before me, only the man (with a slight Caribbean accent) kept bringing up God and how I should be thankful to God, etc. He kept insisting I purchase the Green Dot Pack Card from CVS or Walmart so that I could receive my prize. Long story short, when I called him out on it, and told him that he needed to stop bring up God and blessings into it, and when I asked his name and an address for the company, he became belligerent and vulgar. When he kept insisting they were legitamate and that he'd send the FBI to my house to "prove it", I then told him to please just stop his nonsense, and he began shouting, "Suck my d*ck, suck my d*ck!" repeatedly and hung up. Unbelievable! Don't fall for this, people! As the real Publisher's Clearing House points out, you will never be asked to pay any money to receive any of their winnings. Anyone claiming to do so is a scammer.
