Just had to file a claim for a accident in which my husbands finger might be cut off from the first knuckle.  ER tried to verify coverage on Sat. and the offices are all closed thank goodness because if they would of known the insurance company was only paying $50.00 things might of turned out different.  Dr.s office tried to verify coverage on Monday and they were closed again as they are on Eastern time and we live in Ca.  But there again they only pay $50.00 a dr's visit for the first 3 appointments and then they are done.  They do cover $100.00 a day while you are in the hospital for 5 days and then you are on your own.  So if you add this all up it comes to $700.00 in total per year is all they cover.  We are paying $306.80 per month for this coverage I think that would be considered a rip-off.  They never did send us our paperwork showing coverage and in our busy schedules and sicknesses I didn't realize we never got it so it is our fault as much as theirs but at least we have been honest in paying our bill every month and we are only out $1839.00 for a month to month plan which we had no idea that is what it was.  Please do not do business with this company they are a total rip-off!!!!

They have cheated us in thousands. The agent (William) enrolled us in a plan that covers maternity but when we called the insurance company, she said we were not covered for maternity. I asked the billing department from my OBGYN to confirm whether they would cover my maternity so I could know if I should keep it or not. She called Adroit and for some reason got the answer that they will cover 100%. Come to find out when I'm 7-8 months pregnant, I register at the hospital and ask them if they can check if my insurance will cover it. They confirm to me that "NO, they do not cover maternity". I call the agent and ask to switch me to a plan that does cover maternity and he does this but it's about $100 more (I was already paying $815 a month). I say, fine, I need coverage so I'm willing to pay anything at this point. I call the insurance company after I'm enrolled in this new plan and I come to find out this plan does not cover any maternity either. So I end up going back to my old heath insurance plan because I figured that atleast the old plan would cover for my OBGYN delivery. So I call William again and I tell him that this new plan does not cover maternity and ask him if he can please switch me back to my old plan. I get in touch with the billing lady from my OBGYN and I ask her if she can confirm to me if this old plan that I went back to does cover 100% like she said.  I come to find out that no, they do not cover it and that I need to pay the OBGYN delivery fee ($3300 for out of pocket). By this time, I am livid. For one, I paid almost 8 months to an insurance plan that doesn't cover my maternity because the billing lady from my OBGYN said the insurance company would cover their end and then she tells me that they don't and now I have to pay out of pocket price when I have been paying over $5500 to this insurance company that doesn't cover anything (only my doctor visits). I call William and demand to switch to a plan that provides maternity because I'm about to give birth in 2 weeks. He ends up switching me to a more expensive plan that says covers 80% of maternity. When I'm enrolled, I ask the insurance company to please tell me how much I will be covered for and how much of they hospital they will cover.  They tell me that they only cover $500 instead of the 80% that William said. So William straight up lies to me again. I should have cancelled him a long time ago but we were desperate for maternity coverage. He played us like a fool and kept lied straight through his teeth. I cancelled this plan and ended up with no insurance coverage during my delivery and hospital stay. I now have over $9000 is hospital fees and so frustrated. I am ready to sue.

I am in the process of advocating for a family member.... When the policy Once purchased she understood she would be covered for certain things, upon trying to submit a bill it came back declined. I am working with them on this now. I will let you know what the outcome is

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. HEALTH INSURANCE SCAM. IT DOESNT COVER ANYTHING. You would be better off saving your money , and paying out of pocket for healthcare. Cancellation advice: They are not reachable by phone. Go directly to your bank/credit card company and have them block all Adroit Healthcare charges. Email Adroit explaining that your chargeback/fraud complaint (ie. Chase) I got refund within 12h.

RUN like H from this company.  Started it on Sunday and cancelled on Monday. The only way I could get them to agree to cancel the policy was by having the Attorney General of Texas' Office on the other line.  I am still scared they are going to try to steal money from account.  Will have to keep a sharp eye and document everything in writing. This is a SCAM!!!!!!!

I have to agree with all of you.  Then they make it sound like its your fault or the Dr's office for not doing their job properly. Then try to sell you more insurance to get you the coverage you thought you were getting in the first place. They male it sound real good when they're trying fuji get you to buy it. $1200  just given away. I will never recommend this company.

This company is a major rip off. I paid $357.66 a month for health insurance and they paid nothing towards my doctor's bills last year. I have $639.70 in doctor's bills which were doctors appointments and blood work. When I called them they said that I wasn't covered by them anymore, but they continued to take $357.66 monthly out of my checking account. I called them numerous times and they said that I didn't exist. Finanally someone looked at my account and said that I had the wrong member id number. They found the right member id number, but still wouldn't pay the bill but still was taking $357.66 monthly out of my checking account. I went online to check my account with adroit health group and they never changed my member id and still said my account was inactive. I am 65 yrs old and this is the worse insurance that I ever had. How can I file a complaint against this insurance group?

Contact your state attorney general's office and your state health department.  Numbers should be on the state website.  You could also try your state insurance commission.

Seriously a SCAM!!! Stay away!!! They sell you a policy but do not follow through, provide other, confusing information, nothing straightforward, even forwarded a call to the Oregon Dept. of Human Services as though it were one of their agents. SHUT IT DOWN!!! Complain to your State AGO, Dept. of Insurance, anyone and everyone.

OMG. I wish I had of read these reviews before purchasing a policy. I too was lied to from the beginning by assuring me that the insurance covered long term care such as skilled nursing facilities. Found out it doesn't. Total ripoff.

I applied for Health Insurance (medical)  in what I thought was through the Healthcare Market place. I got a Broker on the line pretending that e work directly for the Health care marget place but i later learned he actually works for America's Insurance Brokers! Anyway, I signed up for High Mark health Insurance over the phone but this Broker also signed me up for Accidental Death Insurance (which I never asked for or needed).  Adoit was taking money out of my account. Of course, it stated on my bank statement "Marketplace.com." I traced to umber and learn of Adroit. I called them to cancel and they keep stalling the process. They won't send me a cancellation e-mail or letter (they said they don't do that) I have to go through the Broker who registered me. Bull!  I am currently fighting this! The Broker won't get back to me either! Help!

Total SCAM!!!!!   I had them for a month. I had to ask them to send me a list of DR.s that except their policy. The 5 Dr.s that I contacted G.P.s  Either never heard of them or didn’t except them. List was so old that a nurse practitioner was now a Dr. I called American Express. They were fantastic. They  put a merchant freeze on that account and refunded my first and only payment. I than called Adroit to cancel. I had to talk to three different people before they finally  cancelled my health insurance. She said their must be a misunderstanding. She would help me find a Dr. I said absolutely not. I want to cancel. Don’t join this insurance co.If you are in it cancel as soon as possible. Like someone said this insurance isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
