I was guaranteed my son could use this service.  the prison rules forbid cons call home, its considered call forwarding  if they get caught they are in trouble for using the service  cons call home promise me my money back since jan  its all lies they are not giving me my money back  i want them out of bussiness and the top peoplke in jail

    I am going thru the same BS too with them. They are nothing but a SCAM and their customer service SUCKS!!!!
    I have not received my refund after cancelling my membership that I purchased for a year. Everytime I called to get service from them via phone, I was always told that they would have me speak to one of their supervisors, which I finally realized their all "supervisors".
    My refund they said would come within 5-7 weeks...nothing!!!  Going online to BBB and file a complaint and consider the Attorney General to file a complaint. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and all their company is about is to rip off people like us and take advantage.

      1. Call the Department of Consumer Affairs Fraud Division at the Government Level, Good old Washington DC. Get the complaint form and fill it out.

      2. Call the Consumer Affairs Fraud Division in your local state too.

      3. Physically go to your police department and fill out a case report, even if they won't persuit it, they have to document if asked and give you a case number.

      4. Since they opperate inner state. Lodge a complaint with the FBI. Yes, you most certainly can do that.

      Send these guys to Jail ! Maybe they can say hello to your family member when they physically get there.

      SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. YOU CAN DO IT. FOLLOW ALL FOUR STEPS DILLIGENTLY.

    conscall is fraud, first of all if you want service like this just go with vonage, you can get local number for 4.99 a month(unlimted), well who ever thought of this name conscall must know what they are doing, because all of these people are con, well our story, I used conscall in march and then I did't want conscall so I sent them email, well they kep on trying to charge my card but I had put block for them since I don't want service, my service was suspended from March but they are tying to charge me now for march, april, may and june well I asked them how can you charge for service if it is not even provided, well they said we will just turn this in collection agency,

    i am also having problems getting my money back.i have been going to global tel link,i have not had any problems with globle.so how i will get my money back from from cons call home,they are the CONS

    Go through your credit card when you  have used one and deny the charge. Then the credit card gets involved and the refunds happen much faster!  I'm in the beginning stages of an issue. I have a minimal account and a #, but my brother says he can't get through to me on it.  Lorri is telling me he must not have the "right" phone card that's available through the prison commissary. Of course, we can only communicate through snail mail and everything takes so much time.  We'll see, but if anything is shifty on their end-my credit card company will take over the dispute for me.

    The service does not work for the inmate... They say it is call forwarding and the calls are blocked....I cancelled the service right away and was told on 13 April 2012 that I would be refunded in five to seven weeks and as of today NO refund......... What gives?   What kind of company takes your money, and when you keep calling to see where your refund is all they can say they are back logged and will call when they have processed it .....this company needs to be shut down and turned over to the BBB.....

    Cons Call Home ripped me off for $191.82 in January 2012.  They knowingly lied when they told me that this would work. Each time I call  they tell me that the refund will be put back on my credit card, but it has been over 5 months since I called to cancel.  They are a scam and should be shut down!!

    place is scam. they put you on a monthly plan. if you do not cancel within the time. they keep charging you. and if you cant pay they keep charging you. BS

    I'm shocked that everyone has had so many problems with ConsCallHome.  I used the service for several months last year so that my boyfriend in NC could call me and I never had ANY problems.  The phone number was considered local so I definitely saved $$ by using them because Global Tel Link is sooooo expensive.

    This is the worst service I have ever encountered. I just emailed them and stated that I would contact the governor, the congress people, the BBB, PSC, FCC whoever I had to contact to get the refund. Furthermore, I expect the refund  to my cc within a couple of days. If it is not there, I will call them back repeatedly.  Hell have no fury like a woman scorned.. (or burned in this case!)...... stay tuned

    I am currently working with the attorney general's office for a full refund.

    Also contacting the FCC and PSC.

    I wish I would've have look on the customer review board before I signed up with cons call home. The company is a complete rip off they refused to give me back my money. I was told that it would take 5-7 weeks to get a refund, I have never heard of a refund taking that long. I call to speak to a manger or a supervisor I was told that they don't have any they was trained up to a manger roll. That's was about the dumbest [***] I ever heard. Do Not Give CCH your money they is a rip off. Also, I ask to talk to someone in the refund department the guy put me on hold and tried to sound like someone else.
