Protection Plan

Dear Montage Furniture Services,
I would like to thank you for completely changing my opinion of protection plans.
After submitting forms, pictures and numerous phone calls to your organization regarding what should have been a simple cleaning to remove a child's pee from two cushion covers, 2 months later, those covers have yet to be cleaned through MFS or its affiliates.
I had an appointment scheduled for Friday, May 25th, with Tri County Furniture Service, Inc. 888-400-3185. At 4:00am on the 25th I was unexpectedly called in to work. I did however remember my appointment so I left the two cushions in the enclosed entryway to my home's front door where an electrical outlet is available.
Later on the 25th I checked my voice mail and listened to a message left earlier that day from a technician of Tri County. The technician stated that he was at my home but there was no place for him to plug in his cleaning equipment. I immediately called the technician back on his cell phone and left a message saying that the outlet is behind the cushions. In addition to trying to contact the technician, I've also left messages with Tri County. I've never heard back from anyone.
This morning I put the two cushion covers in the washing machine on the delicate cycle and they are now drying outside on the lanai, clean and in perfect condition. The next time I'm asked if I would like to add a protection plan to my purchase, I'll be sure to share this experience with the sales person and then politely say, "no thank you."

TECH FOUND THAT THE CUSTOMER WAS NOT HOME WHEN HE ARRIVED. THE CUSTOMER LEFT 2 SEAT CUSHIONS IN THE DOORWAY BUT THERE WAS NO WAY OF CLEANING THEM BECAUSE THERE WAS NO POWER SOURCE FOR THE EXTRACTION MACHINE. TECH THEN CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER AND NO ONE ANSWERED. TECH LEFT A MESSAGE. TECH WAITED 15 MIN AND THEN LEFT..
You simply missed your appointment. All you would have had to do was contact Montage and they would have sent us back to clean them. They would have sent a work order right over. I also checked our phone system and found no calls to our office from you from your date of service until today. If you called the tech direct, I cannot track that. When a customer is not home for a confirmed appt, we try to contact them and unfortunately we only had a home number for you. Since you werent home we couldnt reach you. If the tech didnt see a power outlet, there is nothing he can do about that. Believe me, he would have rather made the cleaning money vs the customer not a home money..
Our office number is 888-400-3185 if you would like to discuss this further. But in all honestly, we did our job and so did Montage.

Back in March I had an appt scheduled for a repair on the 21st, the part finally came in, tech called, he had car trouble and would call to reschedule. No problem, things happen. He never called. I had to call Montage again on April 9th and was told a tech would call in 2 -3 days to schedule.
I filed another with Montage on June 19, the part gets ordered, comes in 2 weeks. On July 19, Tri County finally calls to schedule installation for their next available date, July 31.
Today is July 31; here I sit home waiting for my tech between 3 & 7 pm. The Tri County office called at 3:52pm to tell me they will not be here after all. Tri County has been to my home approximately four times for assorted claims, but today the tech goes to some other city with a slightly similar name and a different zip code. Not only will they not be here today, they want to reschedule for over one week away.
I called Montage to voice my complaint; they will get back to me within 24 hours.
This level of service is completely unacceptable. I will see how Montage and Tri County resolve this claim and the additional claims I have pending, they cannot keep the A+ BBB rating with this type of service.
Pls email us or call us and I would love to help.
