Woohoo!  I just won $200 of gas vouchers, and all I had to give was my credit card number ("customer ID number") to verify that I was the card holder and that the card wasn't stolen.  He said that it wasn't dangerous to give the front number because it's only the 3-digit number on the back that's personal and that no transaction can be made without it.  That's why you only swipe the back side of the card.  Actually I thought I swiped the back side because that's where the magnetic strip is.  He didn't like my reasoning very much.  I asked for a number to call him back, and he said it would do no good and refused to give me a number.  Crazy!  I can't believe people fall for these kind of scams.  If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I have been getting calls for the last two days, 29 total so far. I ask them to remove my number but they haven't as of yet. It is so annoying having my phone ringing all the time. Didn't get any info from me, but won't leave me alone.

They called me six times in one day. I first tiold them i dont have any credit cards and hung up. They kept calling back. His name was Peter Bordaw with a very thick accent from Arizona. His employee number is 92829 and he said the company is Your Mobile Support. The last time he called I gave him a prepaid card number and he said that is not the card and wanted another card. I told him to tear up the info i gave him and dont call me anymore. 10 minutes later he still called requesting a different card. His number is 7052455555 which now goes directly to voice mail.

Their back they got me yesterday and I called my bank to block my card and they had not charged it but I really thought that I would get the $100 Wal Mart gift card that they offered me. I cursed them all out very rudely warned them about what would happen if they coned me. I hope that helps becaues they recorded all type of things like my debit card number, address and agreements for this deal and about 5 more. They almost got me.

They called me today as well. Said I had won a $100 dollar card from walmart. Told me I had to pay for the shipping and handling sounded fish to me so I checked google out real quick and this site was the first thing that popped up. I told him that the internet said they were a scam and that i was not interested. Thank you to the general public for posting these.

Got a call at noon from a guy with a rather heavy accent.  He said he was from Auto Discount and would send a $100 certificate if I would give my credit card number.  I told him I write checks - don't use credit cards.  He kept insisting that he wanted a credit card number for the $2.95 postage.  Finally he gave up.  I checked the number that he had called from - 216 485 4463.  I called it an hour later and got a recorded message that that number had been disconnected.  SCAM

These people are scamers!!! dnt ever give anyone ur CC# over they phone... I actually worked there for two weeks ( was in training period ).
Believe me they indirectly trained us to scam people off their credit card, i was smart enough to realize it. So i google abt it  and found this site.

They call them self as "Auto discount" formerly known as "American Auto Benifits" they claim themself to be a promitional company and have thousands of marketing partners, who give out these 100$ gift cards.

In order to recieve this 100$ gift voucher all u gota do is pay $3.95 for shipping nd handling.which u have to pay through credit card. Beieve me there is no such thing..they just suck out your credit card..

They claim to be located in Phoenix Aerizona...
These are actually Indian call centres and all the callers are indians most of them in their 20s who are unaware of the actuall situation, they just do it for the money.

In India they are known as Silgate Solutions located in the city of Mumbai..

for more details send me a mail in trollrickdick@gmail.com (just a temp id i made for this)

I just got scammed on Sept. 6 2013. He stated I would recieve $100 visa gift card.I didn't recieve it in the next week as promised.I called them back under Auto Discount Club -877-606-1826 after I got charged $1.97 for Free Shipping Club membership, $6.95 for Nutrilife Coffee Pills for wt loss,$6.95 for Hydroxytone $14.95 for Savings to Go membership. When I called the numbers from the charges on my debit card .They told me these guys where 3rd party vendors. I am making a complaint to the BBB and telling them about this scam. I was using my smart phone and they text me . When I replied they then called me and offered me the free $100 visa card for tryng these products absolutely free for 30 days. When I called the guy on the phone (with a Indian accent) told me it was $100.00 free vouchers for walmart and I would recieve it in the mail the next week. I asked him when my trial date was up and he said 09/14/2013 which is not as promised .I immediately cancelled and had to get a new debit card issued to make sure no more charges would be made on my card. Please dont answer any unknown text or call .This is a total scam.

BBB doesn't take "action"... replies to Pattrick
They just respond to consumer complaints by contacting the business (if they can), and reporting the outcome.

American Auto discount called me today under the number of 516-453-5593.

They told me that they were giving me at "FREE $100 WALMART GIFT CARD". All I had to do was pay a $2.99 postage fee via Visa card or Mastercard. Right then and there I knew it was a scam.

So I asked to speak to the manager! They gave me a hispanic lady.... She told me the same thing. So I asked if I could pay via paypal. They said no, so I asked why. They said they "wanted to verify my credit card info".  They they told me the first number on my visa check card. When I heard that, I was stunned. I almost thought that this was legit, then I regained balance. I just said No I am not interested, thank you. Then hung up.

    Auto Discount is a scam.

    DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING!

Got about the same call except the Indian dude said that I had already paid the S/H back in December and that they were having difficulty in sending the card.  He read out my address and had one number wrong and I corrected him.  Then he said again that I had already paid the S/H with my credit card and he started reading out the number to me.  The first 8 digits were right.  The last 8 were not but I did NOT correct him.  Also, he said that the program I had signed up for in December had expired so I wasn't being signed up for anything else and no other charges were being made.  He said he was connecting me to a recorded message that I had to respond to and he told me the CC# to say, the exp. date and the 3 digits on the back.  I did everything, just to see where this was going, even with the incorrect CC#.  Then the recorded message said they were also offering me an extra program for only $14.95 a month and was it ok to complete the offer?  I said "No" and the phone went dead....
