Shopping Essentials has been debiting my checking account for $19.95 without my permission or knowledge. I don't know how they got my bank information. I searched the web and found many complaints about them. It's a scam! I called the company to have the charges reversed. The girl said she got a confirmation from my email address, for the membership, I then told her that her company has reports all over ripoffreport and they reversed the charges right away. Get them on the phone and be persistent! Talk to your bank as well about the charges.

Here is address of Shopping Essentials if anyone needs to write to them:

My credit card was charged monthly for a year or more.  I was told joined shopping essentials from a code I used for a Chadwick's order. My $29.00 pair of slacks ended up costing me over $240.00

I received my first ever piece of mail from Shopping Essentials on Friday, 10/5/12, which led me to investigate my bank acct.  They have been taking fees out monthly for, what I believe to be, about 5 years now.  I am still in shock.  I called them and had "my account with them" canceled. I am going to my bank ASAP to discuss this further, and am ready to do whatever I need to get every dime back from these con artists.
      My Email address is jaspacegirl@yahoo.com
Please let me know if you have any further information on what I need to do. Thank you.

My wife's card started having $29.95 a month for Shopping Esse on it.  I though it was something she was buying.  I saw the charge each month, but on a different date each month.  Finally, one day, I asked her about it.  She had no idea what it was.  I looked online, SCAM!

So, we call the credit card company, yadda, yadda.  You know the drill.  The credit card company said it would be a good idea to cancel that account and get a new credit card number and new cards.  we agreed.  A week later, new cards in the mail with a whole new number.  We didn't need to use them yet, so we never put them in our wallets.  Guess what?  The new bill came and the ONLY charge on the NEW card was for $39.95 for Shopping Essent!!  I got real irate this time and told the credit card company to issue the refund by check and cancel the new account too.  And we did NOT open another account with that credit card company (a major, well-known one too) and will not ever again!

Basically the same as everyone else.  They started charging my account after I used Restaurant.com and I didn't catch on until way too late.  When I called to cancel they said sure and didn't even ask why.  I asked how I had gotten on this list and they said that I had signed up on-line.  I asked for a full refund, which they refused, but I am going to pursue it.  In this day and age shame on me for not checking my charge card statements more carefully, but shame on them for scamming people.

      STAY AWAY FROM SHOPPERS ESSENTIALS!

I went to my bank. They called Shopping Essential to dispute these charges. They say they are reimbursing me every penny, that by Friday my acct. should have 60 charges put back in.  I highly suggest going to your bank to dispute any charges you may have gotten from them.

I just found out today that when I order something from Vitacost.com, Shopping-essential.com got my debit card information and tried to charge me $19.95/month.  Luckily, I caught it before any more charges could be made to my account.  I have called the company and they said that they will cancel the transaction.  I called my bank and told them about the problem and they know this company very well.

NO ONE HAS BEEN SCAMMED.  IF YOU PEOPLE WOULD LEARN TO READ BEFORE CLICKING YOU WOULD KNOW WHAT YOU ARE AGREEING TO.  AND YES... YOU ARE ASKED IF YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE AGREEMENT BEFORE YOU CLICK YES, THEN YOU HAVE TO ENTER YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN AGAIN FOR THE OFFER.  KEY WORD IS OFFER, THAT MEANS YOU CAN ACCEPT OR DECLINE, IT'S YOUR LACK OF READING AND UNDERSTANDING THAT GETS YOU INTO THESE SITUATIONS.  VITACOST.COM IS ONLY OFFERING YOU A SERVICE, VITACOST IS NOT GETTING THE MONEY WHEN YOU ACCEPT YES TO JOIN, IT STATES PRETTY CLEAR WHAT YOU ARE DOING IF YOU JUST READ.  THE FIRST TIME I ORDERED FROM THEM I HAD NO PROBLEM CLICKING NO THANK YOU AND THEN JUST WENT MY MERRY LITTLE WAY.  THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH VITACOST IS EXCELLENT AND IF YOU SHOULD EVER HAVE A QUESTION I CALL AND ALWAYS FIND A FRIENDLY PERSON ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE.
SO READ UP PEOPLE, YOU AGREED TO SOMETHING, NO ONE SCAMMED YOU, YOU WERE JUST TO IGNORANT TO READ!

How dare you try to make ppl who have been conned out of their money feel like it was their fault or just not understanding.  This "company" is scamming and conning people out of thousands of dollars and they know exactly what they are doing.
I personally am lucky to be getting my money back.  You can be sure I will do everything in my power to make sure a LOT of attention is called to this "company" and what they are up to.
      Just disgusting.

some people dont feel as though they need to read between every fine line, and TRUST in the companys integrity, that they are going to tell you str8 fwd that they are going to charge you money. we shouldnt have to disect the terms and conditions!! this company, and all their other companies are full of CRAP!!
this includes pyramidcollection.com  countrystore.com  shoppingess, and the other 10 company names they hold beside these 3. but feel lucky if they only took 19.99 they have charged me 200.00, 2 times, in the last 2 weeks!! what a rip off!!!

You're not fooling anyone. Do you think people really agreed to send some company they never heard of 20 dollar payments each month for no services.

You obviously working for Vita-Cost or Shopping Essential.

I was scammed and I agreed to no such thing. I simply clicked on an offer from Vita-Cost. I gave them no information.

Repent or you'll spend eternity in Hell for what you're doing.
