Received the following scam message this morning.....when will it stop?

This letter is to notify you that we have received a Summons of Garnishment on your wages. This means that someone you owe money to has been awarded a judgment by the court for payment of the debt. The court has ordered us, your employer, to deduct

50% percent of your disposable earnings and make payment to the court on your behalf. The following applies to you:
Before you are arrested
If you pay in full, or make a part-payment before you are arrested, the warrant will be recalled and amended. However, it will be immediately re-issued if the debt is not paid in full. After you are arrested. Once the warrant has been served, your only options are to serve the time in prison or pay the debt (plus costs) in full at the Court house.
If you want to stop the garnishment deductions from your paycheck, you must obtain a release or go to the courthouse and pay the entire amount you owe.

If you have any questions about the garnishment, you should contact the persons named on the included Summons of Garnishment by email.

Sincerely,
Jonathan McNichols

Got another message today same crap.. this is the 3rd one I think and each time I have emailed them bk requesting contact information and I never hear bk from them..some info is right but someone has to be wrkn for a creditor and taking our personal info and tryn to scam, the only part I don't get is why would they say to contact the company that is "pursuing" you..a creditor or debt collector does just that.. if they got a bill of mine in their hands that means I didn't pay the original merchant/comp/person so they sell the debt for less to these debt colllectors write off the actually debt while the new debt collect tries to collect, therefor I wouldn't be contacting the original person I would contact that debt collector I mean I'm not perfect I struggle I've dealt with a collector anyway moving on.. wouldn't worry to much but I would change your acct #'s to be on the same side..also child support is the only agency that can garnish 50% of ones check nobody else can get that much and there is at least one collection agency that will warrant your bank acct, but it's only for school loans and/or state tax my xhusbands acct was drained a few months ago for a tax bill owe of 890.00 and sure as [***] they took it but the bank had the info for him! So just change ur acct #s!! Be safe not sorry:) have a great day

The email I received this morning is identical to Layla's, right down to the exact Case File Number. I'm heading off to contact the FTC to file another complaint, contact my local police department to file a report, and forward the email to a email scam email address provided by the FTC on the "FTC.gov/complaint" website. I have numerous scam emails containing threats with regards to the same creditor, yet every single email references a different Case/File/Document number and amount owed. Yet they can't reference my name on the supposed legal document attachments, and they have refused to comply with my request that I have hard copies of all documents pertaining to such debit as they're required to do by law. By failing to do so indicates that A) it's a total scam, and B) if by chance there was a chance the claim wasn't a scam, by refusing to comply with my requests over and over again, any merit their Case may have had is long gone. Not to mention they've violated just about every law within my State and many others as far as the "Fair Debit Collection Act". My only concern is the information they have been able to obtain on me. Some is a decade or so outdated, but the most pertentant information is accurate. How are people obtaining this secured personal information considering that I have not applied anywhere for any type of loans? Yes I have a couple of credit cards but those were obtained by the mail with highly reputable finance companies.
As for the numerous complaints I have filed over the last 4-6 years, it's obvious that nothing has been done. I've even changed banks, account numbers, moved, changed both my landline and mobile numbers, I even change my email address ever 1-2 years, regularly change passwords, and oddly enough, I've been disabled for almost 10 years now and have not even worked for just as long, so garnishing wages we would be extremely impossible. Not to mention that If their claim had any merit they'd know this information!!
If there's any new way to get these harassing messages to stop, please let me know. And if I find out anything I will be sure to pass it on.
      Thank you

If you have ever applied for a payday loan at all. 99.9% of these online companies use third party systems. Meaning the information that you shared thinking it was secure is being farmed out to other people and places under the guise of a legit loan company.  I replied as a scared person just wanting to do the right thing to avoid jail and the give no information, phone number or anything.  My advice is to email them G.F.Y.  and then block them.
