(SCAM) They KEEP Calling
Complaint
af
Country: United States
They called AGAIN today leaving the recorded message saying "we are trying to locate the whereabouts.... We have the legal right to contact all family & friends associated with you that are listed to gain information...."
From the first time I actually spoke with them, they REFUSE to give me ANY documentation. The loan they are claiming was PAID IN FULL 20 YEARS AGO. So far, they have called me from different numbers and I have reported each one and will continue to report every number they use to harass me with. Here are the numbers they have used so far, 877-203-9808, 877-201-0733, 877-301-0367, 877-301-0367 & 877-303-8424. I'm sure they have other numbers

877.715.0829. They claim to be brg. And to be collecting on a debt. Of course they are collecting LOL because they are poor humans who do not know how to get a real job. In 2013 I filed a complaint with my State Attorney General's office period in 2014 after several Communications with the Attorney General's office I received a final notification which blew my mind. I was notified that my complaint then go somewhere and so did everybody else's. Please call your State's Attorney General's office. Through the investigation and which was done by all the people that had been contacting and making complaints to the Better Business Bureau , the police, and the attorney general office in their state, several people were invited on charges. And they are in prison because of it. There were too many charges to list. But I have papers to prove this. I never imagined that my complaint would actually go somewhere. But what these people are not betting on is that there will be enough complaints for something to happen to them. They think that they keep changing their numbers that it will all be okay. They should know just as well as anybody else since they are pulling peoples information and committing crime, that the government can see anything. Even if they change their number or they change anything, they can always be traced. If some people feel that it's worth it in the meantime just to get a little bit of money in their pocket, just remember that it does not last forever. And to me it would not be worth it in the end to sit in prison over. Personally after reading some messages above, people would tell the person on the other line that they were recording the phone call and the representative would say that's fine we are recording too, personally I think it's funny that they have the audacity to be in that cocky. It's actually hilarious. At the end of the day please be sure to record your conversation in to let them know that you were recording it. If you do not record the conversation keep every single message that they leave you. Be sure to keep all numbers that they contact you from. If I were you I would not speak to them. Eventually they will stop calling but they will call you from a different number eventually as well. In the end the best thing you can do is never give out any information. If they contact your family members or your anybody else, do not let this be a scare tactic. Many times they will tell you that they are going to send somebody to your door and arrest you or that they will send a summons to your home that very evening or the next day if you do not pay up. Please understand this does not happen and you cannot be arrested for a debt. These people do not show you any proof of a debt and even if they did it's not valid. Do your homework go online and pull up information. People need to understand that they do not need to give into these types of Scare Tactics. Brg should understand the people are aware of what debts they owe. Brg is just pulling a name out of their butt calling themselves brg. It is not legitimate and they are a scam. I assure you I have welcomed people to bring a summons to me. I tell them I will be waiting for them. I let them know and show them that I'm not scared. Do you think anybody ever shows up? No they do not lol and there's a reason for that. First and foremost if you owe anything obviously you would know. Contact your county office, County courts and if there's something you're being sued for order the debt that you owe you will find out there. The number one thing I can say to do is to make sure that you contact the Attorney General's office in your state. Please do that. Personally I do not call the police. The Attorney General's office is the place for stuff like this. And their website is a great thing to look at. It explains what legal debt practices are. It tells you what scammers do. What is normal and what is not normal. They tell you what is legal and what is illegal. For instance, let's say there is a debt that you do actually owe to a real company. So for instance, a company is contacting a family member, that family member can tell the company to take them off of the contact list. That family member can tell them that they are aware of the legal and illegal debt practices. once a person notify is a company, a legitimate company that they want to be taken off of a phone list, they must do so. Once a person as a company to not contact them anymore, they are not allowed to do so. Brg is betting on people not knowing the law. Any real company would abide those laws. Brg, claiming to be brg, can pull your information from anywhere and that's how they scare you. They provide you with some of your Social Security information, your date of birth or even your address and even some relatives names. They contact some of your relatives and that's how they make you think it's legitimate debt. At certain times they may even have some banking information. Guess what? It's nearly 2018, people can get any information they want nowadays. People that are not aware of this, think that if they get a call and the person provides personal information , that it must be legitimate and then they end up paying the scammer. This is how scammers continue on and on because they know that they can get some people. please do not give in to this and please contact your attorney general office in your state.you, can get the number from Google. I assure you that they will definitely want to take your complaint. Once you provide the information to them they can tell you whether or not they are a scammer. Please so ur homework
The scammers out there want to pressure you into paying the same day that they contact you because once they actually speak to you they do not want you to hang up the phone because the chances that you're going to do your homework. So they use the scare tactics to get you to pay the call them back that day so that you do not do your homework. They will say anything to you. They will tell you that they are doing legal things they will say anything. How do I know? This happened to me before and I actually ended up paying out several years ago to a scammer . since then I have been completely aware of everything. That is how I ended up being a part of the indictment of several people in 2014 in New York. Which was not even in my own state. I did not end up paying these people. They were just another set of scammers that were trying to scam so many innocent people. You do not want to get scammed and find out when I had to find out and then end up having to learn from your mistake. When you pull up the 877 number that I listed above, you will see that there are only two complaints so far. That's because they have just changed their number. It seems that they stopped for a little bit or that they were using different numbers you're in overtime the complaints will accumulate just like they have on this site. This is not a legitimate company and you should go to the Better Business Bureau website. You can see there that the Better Business Bureau has even tried to be in contact with brg and that everything has gone unanswered. Please do your homework and please contact the Attorney General's office right away and only takes 10 minutes of your time and it helps to put people away and helps others from being scammed. They're taking advantage of people that are actually working or even the elderly who live on a very small income. Please be a part of the solution. Thank you
