Stay Away from Singlesnet. They have fake profiles at the website, and the whole purpose of the site is to get your information like credit card, name,  and address.

This site is a complete scam from the beginning: there is always 500 people online no matter what state/time you are online. After you pay your membership fee you are swarmed with emails. All the pretty looking faces are fake profiles.  They say its a 100% money back. You try calling them and see how far you get.

I canceled my account after one month and they attempted to bill my bank account after. DO NO USE SINGLESNET.COM, they will steal your money and show you a list of fake people and pictures and also bill you for them.

I almost joined this site a week ago BUT.... when I tried searching for Women, Pictures of Guys appeared also.... Have all you noticed that when you first try it??? This is definitely a SHAM.... They're investing in ADS and actually they have an AD in ESPN.COM which many men are always tuned in...

Stay away from this site.... or maybe stay away from Internet Dating sites. Period!!!

Go to a bar, a mall and maybe you can find the person you're looking for...

Yeah, I hate to tell you guys but, this site actually works. I've met, talked, flirted, dated and more with a number of people I met on this site. Perhaps the reason you think it's a scam is because you are ugly, stupid or boring and people just arn't interested in you. BTW, I'm not one of the "scammers" which people will invariably suggest I am after reading this reply, actually I'm a grad student who just doesn't have time to weed through the endless bar scene to meet people. Further more I learned my lesson dating people from work, school or my circle of friends. On-line provides a safe, viable network to meet people without the hassle of the bar scene and without mixing the other sectors of my life which I enjoy they way they are without confusing them with dating. So there it is, there's my two cents. Let the allegations begin.

Don't waste your time on any other site than POF.com It's free and more action than all the other sites combined.

I am female, strictly heterosexual, living in a stable monogamous relationship since more than ten years. I never EVER in my life visited any internet dating/singles/adult friendship-seeking site. I also live in a rather out-of-the way end of the world (i.e. not America). Yet Singlesnet had recently contacted me on my work e-mail with an offer of contacting "1000s Women in Your Town who Want Sex!", and claiming that they are sending this to me as their "valued customer". Enough said.

I have to say that I found singlesnet two years ago, I found a ton of creeps but after weeding threw them, I found a guy that was great, we have been togather ever since and I wouldn't trade him for the world.  As far as a scam, I think that it just might be for the guys simply because alot of women won't pay for a dating site, they figure that if the man can't pay for a site to talk to them then they can't buy them dinner.  I didn't pay for the site, but my now b/f did and when I flirted he was a tad resistant until we talked on the phone and he knew that I was a real person.  Guys need to understand that women aren't all that willing to pay for such thing.

I have the "not working" chat installed and as long as I do not log out it shows me as online.  I assume that is what you are seeing.

Total scam. Beware of scam artist who post pictures of beautiful young women hunting for older man they can trust and love the rest of their lives.  Then after IM's back and forth tell you she is from Ghana.  Then she start with the honey and darling B/S.  Then the request for "Funds", because she needs to help her Grandmom.  These people can't even use proper grammer.  Do they think we're that stupid.  Get off this site as soon as you can.

I think singles net is great! I met my husband there. I didn't pay to join. You can view for free. It worked for us! And also, I told someone at work about it and she met a great guy too. We're just two middle aged people who have been happily married for 6 months now, thanks to singles net.
