Stay Away from Singlesnet. They have fake profiles at the website, and the whole purpose of the site is to get your information like credit card, name,  and address.

This site is a complete scam from the beginning: there is always 500 people online no matter what state/time you are online. After you pay your membership fee you are swarmed with emails. All the pretty looking faces are fake profiles.  They say its a 100% money back. You try calling them and see how far you get.

I canceled my account after one month and they attempted to bill my bank account after. DO NO USE SINGLESNET.COM, they will steal your money and show you a list of fake people and pictures and also bill you for them.

A lot of women on singlesnet.com are married.   All you have to do is go to www.whitepages.com, type in the name (and so much of the address as you have), and frequently the phone is in the man's name, or he's listed as a roommate.   Another good website (also free of charge) is www.whoulookingfor.com.   It tells you their aliases, former married names, etc., as well as former residences.   Usually when you refer to these places, they lose interest fast.   Some of these people have pulled out of a lot of towns, and one woman's former address was Vacaville, CA.

Singlesnet.com is a step up from a truckstop, but only a step.   It is not for the inexperienced.

I am so upset right now. I can't get into my account and posted my picture on there and trying to delete it. I keep trying to send an email to them to delete my account but they stated I have already sent one and to wait.

I don't like my picture and info floating in cyberspace!

    Help and feel so naive.

C'mon, people...boys an' girls. Please, don't be such easy-pray for these scamsters! If you want to 'comunicate' with those you think you are meeting on these sites, don't pay for ANYTHING with your credit card...EVER! Instead, get a cheap cell phone account from Metro PCS or Walmart for about fourty bucks a month and use that phone for a communication tool. It can safely isolate you from the frequent dangers which are so often well mixed in with the 'believable candidates'. Ask reasonable questionsas you speak with him/her and be in the habit of writing-down all of the info for comparison later...there WILL be a later! You can buy some relatively inexpensive tools which can empower you to know exactly WHO your 'friend' REALLY is. Also, Government Public Access Records can also help to narrow-down just what IS and what IS NOT real. I deal with this sort of thing on a regular basis and try to help keep people from being hurt by the bad guys. But, it's WAY more than a good-sized, well-equiped army can deal with, and I'm just ME tryin' to warn as many as I can on the I-net. If you need any help with these types of issues, you can key-out your brief story to; pgmcats@aol.com. Please, take care and be aware.

I have never used this or any related service, but today I got a call from one of my credit card companies (Chase) saying they blocked a suspected fraudulent charge from this company.  Since this also happened to be a card that I never use and just sits in a drawer, it was very easy to confirm that this is indeed fraudulent.

Evidently, this company couldn't earn enough money screwing people who intentionally sign up.  So, they've resorted to hacking to attempt to get additional charges on random people's credit cards.  Fortunately, they tried an invalid expiration date, and that's how the CC company caught the charge.  They probably just try random values until some of them succeed.
