My fiance bought my an '07 suzuki forenza new. We fell behind when I started into nursing school because i was not able to work and of course, they call to find out when they will get the money. The loan is in his name, but i told them to contact me ONLY because i pay the bills and handle the money. We would give them a date when we "thought" we could pay them. If we could not make it, we would tell them. Then we would ask for help, defer pymt, change pymt date, refinance, etc. They refused all. Recently, they have started calling my father, mother, brother, aunt in NY (we live in charleston,sc), best friend in NY who i grew up wth and havent talked to in over a year, my fiance's uncle who lives up the road from us, and our neighbor who lives across the street...on top of that, they call his work (fire dept) WE DID NOT PROVIDE ANY OF THESE PEOPLE'S NAMES OR NUMBERS AS REFERENCES and on top of that they are calling people who are mostly related to me, and ppl with even different last names. How do they even know I know these people? We told them to stop calling SEVERAL TIMES, told them we sent them a certified letter and told them to quit harassing our family and friends...their response "well obviously it got your attention to call us, etc...we will do whatever it takes to get the money" etc...we were not even 2 months behind yet, and either way, is that NOT illegal??? My dad told me the lady told him how much we owed, how many days late, etc...and when i confronted the lady she said she did not give any personal info...BS!!! I am SICK of these people and am ready to get an attorney.

    i HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME. I HAVE CONTACTED THE AG IN ILLINOIS.
    THEY PUT A CAR IN MY NAME WHICH DID NOT AUTHORIZE AND NOW IM RESPONSIBLE.
    THE DEALERSHIP KNOWS THAT THIS WAS FRAUD, FIRED ALL THE EMPLOYEES INVOLVED BUT WILL NOT OTHER ANY ASSISTANCE TO REPAIR THIS. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WITH THIS EXPERIENCE.

    I think suzuki shall stop calling people when they bill still not pastdue yet. they have to take resposible for any question and proble with the owner of suzuki cars. seem like they need money, but never do good on customer services at all. i give them "D" grade only. also, the #1 is they should recall all the suzuki cars about the power steering proplem to get fix for the comsumer. I had seen alot people complaint about the power steering. now time to do recall and take all full responsible for it or from now on, poeple should stop buy suzuki car.

    Suzuki aka ASFS aka GMAC are a bunch of crooks - their practices go against any basic notion of decency or ethics - from fraudulent reports to credit bureaus to illegal letters and calls - I had to report them to the FTC for fraud, and the consumer fraud division of attorney general offices in three states -

    NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH SUZUKI or ASFS or GMAC - you have been warned - they are CROOKS, should be all in jail

    Same thing happened to me.  I called suzuki and they gave me the phone number.  We should not have to go through all of this to hunt them down. I am going to refinance with an american finance company or well known bank.

    The customer service is horrible.  They will tell you they are going to do something and don't.  Today I spoke to 4 people.  I said can't you see I called in on 12/10/10?  Ed said yes I can, then he said no he cant.  Today, I spoke with Paul, Eds, Connie and Ann.  All that messed up. This office is in Phoenix Arizona, you have to keep repeating yourself because they do not understand what you saying.  I guess this is what they call outsourcing.  Not good customer service.  Will not buy from again.  Will go American made.  Maybe Ford next time.

    Purchased a Suzuki Verona in in 2004..finally got it paid for..This car is a piece of junk..it's fully loaded..yet hardly anything works.. purchased it brand new..no kids playing with knobs or anything the car is just literaly falling apart..worst investment I have ever made..do not buy a suzuki...I promise you will regret it. I got the car at a great price..but had I known..I would have purchased a car with a higher payment.

    I wish I had read this before purchasing my 2011 SX4 on 3/6/11. I went to Bronx Suzuki!!!! Buyers beware! No inspection was done, they damaged the rear passenger seat, it hadn't been washed inside or out, and to this day 3/21/11 still have not submitted the paperwork for the registration. I had many words with the dealership and the owners. No one was professional or helpful. Eventually got the inspection done on my own. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. The owner's name is Phil and his wife is Diane. The "managers" are Scott and Misha. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

    you know what I have learned to do on all people not just creditors is I just look at my caller ID and if it is someone i don't want to talk to I answer and hang up takes a second , and they have stopped telemarketers anyways

    Same thing to me. I hate dealing with ASFS! I will never get financed under this company again. They are rude. When you tell them the reason why you may be late, they make you feel bad. I am not lying about my situation and it hurts that I cant make the payment on time but I try every month to do so. They call and harass me at work, they harass my co workers and embarass me at work. They call my cell phone all day. It is just embarassing. One person even asked my co worker was my car on property and what is the address. Totally upset my co worker and everyone in the office knows about my situation. Its not like I dont call them because I do. I am getting ready to file a complaint, this is how upset they have me at this point

    I bought a '06 Grand Vitara in March and was going to make 72 payments. I made all the payments on time. My husband lost his job and we struggled for a bit. We ended up needing to deffer 2 months of payments. We signed a mini contract that stated that we could pay those two payments at the end of the loan. Now its six years later and still haven't finished paying the car, turns out they want an additional 5 payments to pay for the extra interest for only deffering the 2 months. What a total rip off. I have only two more payments left and the car is already starting to act up. Might have to send it to the dump and get a newer one, but all I can say is that it won't be a suzuki..

    Hey Mr. Repo man....how much is ASFS paying you to smart off to people making legit complaints? If this is your "job", then perhaps YOU are the one who should, "get a real job". I have a great job and have kept all payments up to date, and yet I still get harrassed by ASFS. Specificallly by Andrea. And yes, they are rude and their tactics are illegal. The Federal Trade Commission has already been contacted and are investigating. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to work. Have fun belittling people Mr. Repo Man. Hope they pay you well for that!

    So my ex has a suzuki motorcycle which he has repainted due to the fact that it is ready to be repo'd and has been for the past 2 years.

    Idiots from Suzuki, don't know he repainted the bike, so when they stop by his mother's residence and see a white bike they drive on not knowing that it's really the red bike! I want to call Suzuki and tell them EXACTLY where they can find him! :) What's a number I can call??? :)

    Ive been having the same [***] situation I make payment and every time i verify I owe more and more my loan becomes higher and higher dont buy a suzuki and finance with this company they will make your life miserable.  They like to take advantage of people.  Just to give you guys an idea when I first purchased my car the full price for it was 19.000.  You know how much ive already paid over 56.000 dolars I still have 25 more payments to go.  Im telling you I have paid this car 4 times its value.  BEWARE DO NOT FINANCE YOUR VEHICLE WITH THIS COMPANY
