A person from AMG mortgage called my cell phone company and asked to speak to my husband. I said he was not available. He said he had important information about our mortgage and wanted to know if I was on the mortgage with my husband. I said it was none of his business and do not call me again. He said he would be calling back until he was able to speak to my husband. The number that showed up on my phone was 704-405-7040. I could hear noise in the background that sounded like a call center. My guess is that he was not calling from a 704 area code location. I tried calling the number back. It did not ring but i heard 3 beeps then nothing.

    Calls for two days in a row so far.  I keep telling him to stop. It is even the same guy! Unreasonably persistent! Has my name and address but is WAY off on how much I owe.  So obnoxious!

    I've been getting the same calls for the last 4 days as everyone else has described. Same guy calling from the same number each time (248-260-2990). Tried to call the number back - recording comes on saying it's an invalid number. Each time, he says "I've been told to call you..." Today I asked him who told him to call. He said they are calling me because I requested information. I told him I certainly did not request information. I asked what A.M.G. stands for, he said he didn't know but if I answer some of his questions and I'm approved to talk to an account representative, they can give me more information. I told him no way, and I told him that if he was calling from a legitimate business, he would be calling from a legitimate phone number but that I know he's not because I've called it back. Every time he calls (it's been the same guy every time), he asks me to confirm that I owe at least $60K on my mortgage. I always tell him no, I will NOT confirm that (lol, I actually don't even have a mortgage).

    This spammer is relentless. I do get some satisfaction out of calling him out on his BS but the calls really are unwelcome. I've told him every time he calls to stop calling me, and again, every day he keeps calling and acts as if it's the first time he's spoken to me. There should be a class action suit against this company for harassment.

    I received the same call.  Very aggressive, jumping straight into a claim about me owing money. "Hi, <Anthop>.  This is Blah, with AMG.  I have records here showing you still owe $60k on your mortgage.  Is that correct?"  Wouldn't clarify what information they do know about me (what actual mortgage company I have), instead fishing for information ("We must have old records.  How much do you owe?").  The phone number for these scammers doesn't matter, as they can fake or rent phone numbers throughout the country.

    I have an app called RoboKiller that answers spam calls with a recorded message that is timed to sound like it is carrying on a conversation with the caller. I got a call from AMG that had elements similar to what others here experienced. The AMG agent stayed on the line with RoboKiller for a couple minutes thinking it was me!  So far no calls back because they will just get another RoboKiller answer.

    Got several calls but, did answer. On the last call I answered they said AMG and did I owe $66K on my mortgage. I said "What" & who is this? and I just hung up the phone. But, I redial the number (678) 866-1472 and the number wouldn't even go through. Saying this isn't a working number. So I blocked the number. Within 15 mins I get another call from a different number; with the same thing a non working number. This needs to stop.

    Wow - these people are very persistent.  The guy hung up at me when I said I am not interested - LOL!
    Three times I asked them to remove me from the list and they keep on calling.  I can't block them because they use different numbers from my area code.  They actually think that by being rude and obnoxious, they are getting back at you.  It's just funny to me - as if what they say to me has any value or that I would care if they are nasty.  They are just pathetic.

    Called twice telling me I owe more on my mortgage than I ever did and claimed I was looking to refinance. I never looked into refinance and told them so. Called again and I hung up

    I have received several calls from this organization giving a first name only.  They always saying you owe $$$$$ on a recorded line on property in another state.  They will not give any other information than a first name.  Told them I did not want to talk to them they sounded like they were in a call center, I am sure not in Alaska.  I have told them I do not want to talk to them....Way off on amount.

    I get calls from all various numbers which I've saved to my phone as "BULLSH1T"  It doesn't do any good to tell them to stop calling.   I have over 300 of their numbers listed under "BULSH1T".   Is there an end?   Need to contact the White House, FBI, and anyone else in authority.   It's out of control.

    Two calls so far today.  The caller tells me what I owe on my mortgage and where I live.  I tell them I am not interested and to no longer call me.  Still calling!!!

    Very rude and pushy people. I don't know if they are even a legit company, but if they are, I would never do business with them.

    Call and ask if I still owe 70k on my home.  Didn't respond when I asked, Who are you with again?  So I just hung up.  I looked at caller details and they have called over 20x

    I receive daily, sometimes three times a day, calls from this company. I have to answer my phone because I have students that call me from unknown numbers. I keep telling them I’m not interested and hang up and someone else callls. Wish they would stop the harassment!
