Scam to con me out of supposed money owed for Payday Loan

I have been contacted by a supposed law firm in California by the name of ACS.  They claim that I have three major charges in a law suit pending unless I pay an amount in the area of $533.87 right away.  I smelled a scam right away.. besides the fact of them not wanting to disclose detailed info also made this whole thing smell bad.  What can be done to prevent this and to put a stop to these people?

    Thank you! My husbanf going thru this right now. They got very rude with him then hung up. Thats so unprofessional if you suppose to be a real company. Then somehow they contacted his sister and gave very detailed info. The number they call from was 855-730-8946. This is a scam and you have rights. They couldnt even tell him the name of loan company or dates. Hubby called the loan company we are dealing with he say to this is a scam

      I got a message on my phone for a friend of mine. She already contacted our local police and they said there were no warrants out for her.  They stated it was Mark Hudson and was retained to serve local documents along with the local authorities. Unfortunately you are unavailable and will be heading out to your place of employment and all known addresses within the next two hours with any questions or concerned contact 855/495-1772 and reference number 1440xxxx. Then he stated her name and said that she has been officially notified. So called the first time, after looking up that they are a fraud company and told them to take my number off there fraud list. that I looked them up on line. The guy hung up on me. Then I decided to call back to see what they say and gave the lady (But she wasn't a real lady I would find out in just a minute) the reference number. She asked if I this person and told he I was her Guardian and that she had already contacted the authorities. The lady and I had a few words back and forth I kept telling her we know they are frauds and her getting ruder and ruder until she said something that I will not even put on here. Where I work I deal with a lot of frauds and i find that the best way to deal with them is to call them out on it. Then they will usually move on. When in doubt for people reading this always contact your police station and always good any suspected phone number. If the person contacting you can't tell you exactly what has happened to make thais occur including all dates and names of people and companies involved please keep your money for you worked hard for it not like these scums.

    They called my work and my cell twice now, when i talked to some one and yold them i have gotren there messeges, and the lady who called she told me that that lady was a "field worker" and didt wor in the offce, said i needed to pay 510 today to setal on a pay day loan we had if i wanted to setil today i could pay 320, if not i had to pay 170 fir 3 mounths.

      someone from this acs called my sister-in-law looking for me trying to serve me papers that am being sued say that they are from the court house in my area and then they also called my phone tell me to call or someone will be at my home with in the next 48 hours to serve me or go to were i work but the number that they called from was 855-565-2304 have any of you guy's got a call from that number they will not give me any info on any thing i told that i will send money orders and they said that they need a card or bank account they can not take them also ask for them to send me the info from the company that i owe the money to and the said that they can not send that to my home address only to my email  and i can not find this number on line  i have look for it but also my sister-in-law told me that when they called her it was unknown they said that there name was Jackelyn but no one in my area has hard of a Jackelyn so please if any of you have talk to this one let me know thank you

    This is happening to me as we speak the company ACS keeps calling me from a 1-855-858-8141 saying I took out a payday loan back in 2010 which i don't rememebr for 900.00. That is something I would never do and just now I keep getting a private call from a woman saying she is from the oklahoma court and she has a court order and will be served if i don't call this number within 1 hour gave me the same number and account number now after reading all of this i feel better cause i was like what the hell is going on saying they were gonna come to my job or house but the address they have i don't even live there. the guy told me that i had to pay $300 to get the court order stopped i said  sir i don't have any money then he said well didn't u get ur taxes or have u filed them yet i went off and he said well can u at least pay 100 b4 4pm i said let me see whaty i can do and hung up didn hear from him the next day now they calling today this is some crazy mess for real!!!!

    I have gotten several calls from them but never answered it. The first few messages said it was Rick Johnson and he had paperwork to serve me with either at my home or place of employment. Today, a lady named Gina called and left a message and said that she had been retained by the state of Ohio and I had 2 hours to call her back or her and the authorities would be at my house. She ended the call with "Good Luck". She also called my sister in laws house and left the same message. I am so glad I googled this so I can report them. The number they called from came up unknown but she left this number to call back 855-858-8138.

    I keep getting calls from a number 5042986119 and 310 807 0986. They would ask for me and leave messages stating that I was being investigated for a lawsuit and if I don't pay legal action is going to take place with my local police department and I will go jail if I don't respond with my lawyer. They called a third time and I pretended that they had the wrong number and the guys whole attitude changed and he went on to ask me if I needed a payday loan. Hahaha!!! I told him "no thank you I'm a millionaire I don't need any loans" and he said ok well have a blessed day. ( I'm broke as they come ) but they haven't called me since. Beware these people have Indian accents.

    I HAVE SIMILAR ISSUE,SOME GUY "ADRIAN PETERSON", CALLED FAMILY(THAT I HAVENT SEEN IN 10YEARS- AND IN OTHER STATES). HE LEFT MESSAGES LIKE I WAS WANTED ABOUT AN 'INCIDENT THAT HAPPEND THAT MORNING'...THEN SAID I NEEDED TO CONTACT *1-866-559-7105*, I CALLED COMPANY NAME " NATIONAL" SPOKE TO SOME WOMAN, RACHELLE, SHE STARTED TELLING ME ALL THESE LEGAL TERMS THST I VIOLATED FOR AN OLD PAYDAY LOAN, THAT A 1500 AMOUNT ADDED TO THE BILL, BUT I COULD SETTLE TO PAY 320,  THAT SAME DAY. I CALLED POLICE DEPT. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON, SO THE TOOK ALL INFO I HAD OF THIS COMPANY. I CALLED THE SUPERIOR/SUPREME COURT, AND THEY TOOK ALL. INFO OF COMPANY AS WELL AND GIVING IT TO SUPERVISORS TO PASSTO POLICE AND FBI. SO I CALLED THE COMPANY AGAIN SPOKE TO *WILLIAM NELSON*, I ASKED FOR THE FULL CO.NAME HE SAID ITS A LAW FIRM- LITIGATION,BUT WOUD NOT GIVE ME ANY ATTORNEYS NAMES-HE WOULD NOT. I ASKED FOR ALL THESE ' CHARGES' A GAINST ME TO BE SENT TO ME BY MAIL AND THEY SAID THEY COULDNT! SCARY THING IS THEY HAD ALOT OF MY INFORMATION.
