FALSE CLAIMS OF OWING MONEY

1-234-567-8900 is MCS (Mutual Consolidated Services), a credit card
rate reduction outfit. They have other numbers; 1-888-878-1014,
1-800-943-3250, 1-877-891-1348 that should not be contacted using your
home or work phone numbers! No matter what you do, 'They will Know"
which number you are calling from! Use another number, such as a local
Payphone if you do want to call them. They are linked too...
1-877-503-2115 which is CBCL (Canadian Bonded Credits), a collection agency.
And 1-866-294-1752 which is IQOR, the same collection agency with new name.
Important Note if you do owe money. All these companies share your personal
information. This includes; Your Full Name, Your Address, Your City, Your
Postal Code, Your Place Of Emplyoment, All Your Contact Phone Numbers
(Home, Cell & Work), and most important, the amount of money you owe and to
whom you owe it! Private tests have been conducted With These Collection
Agencies. Impersonaters have called requesting info on the amount of money
owed. On numerous occasions (recorded calls) this information was freely
given out by the employees of these collection agencies without forthought.
Personal info was given out every time, when it shouldn't of been because
they were not really talking to the person who has the debit.
Another Note: The National "Do Not Call List" does not work. In fact, it
helps make the problem worse! As you all have heard in the news, these

Appear to be a Canadian collection agency.
When you answer the phone there is nobody to talk too.
This is a PRANK CALL. You would think that if someone was calling
you there would be someone on the line. At 3:14pm today they called
but no one was on the line. I hung up fast.
THIS IS HARASSMENT TO ITS FULLEST DEGREE!!!

Yesterday the call came from 1-866-294-1752 at 3:50 pm.
The tacktic now is to alternate numbers and call you every day.
The old CBCL number is 1-877-503-2115 which they still use.
The new IQOR number is 1-866-294-1752 which they always use now.
No matter what number you answer too there is either a long delay
in the initiation of the recorded message, or there is no one on
the line -- PRANK CALL.
They are the same scum Telemarketer/Collection jurks who have sad
lives and enjoy harassing people "every day" many times a day.
Even if you did owe money, I'd still tell them where to go!
It shows just how much this IQOR likes to harass people.
Today was Saturday 14, Feb. 2009 (Valentines Day).
They just had to call again twice today just to show
how miserable they can be! At 11:23AM and then at 4:35PM, but
calling them back did no good cause they closed early today!

I was harrassed by these people for weeks. DO NOT ask to be put on their do not call list, by pressing 3, as per instructions. Tania told me this only gets lost in the system. You must be firm and call 1-888-878-1014 and speak to Tania everytime you get a call, or they will never go away. It worked for me.
call centers like this would go out 0of business fast.
1) Call any FAX BACK service (push *67 to bock caller id) (i used 415-252-4660 as its a california based rental board faxback
2) enter "YOUR FAX NUMBER" of 888-878-1014
3) choose to sent document # 000. It will confirm, then do it 4 more times. Each time you do these 4 steps, the receptionist at 888-878-1014 will get 4 calls from a fax number.
Its great!
Do it 5 times a day and it will piss them off enough to hopefully get the message that annoying calls are not cool!

We have call display already, but its a darn shame to have to buy this feature because of these people.
My advice is to fight fire with fire and start harassing them in return. My policy is to call them at least 10-20 times for every call i get from them. I ask for to speak to the manager and if they don't cooperate I insult and berate them until they do. Eventually they will get a manager to speak to you when enough teary eyed employees start whining and enough of their production time is wasted. Then they will finally remove you from their calling list FOR REAL and stop calling you. Trust me, the only thing people like this understand is force. I always try diplomacy first, but with companies like this force is the only thing will will get them to leave you alone.

If you do have a file in collection, iQor is entitled to call you once per day as long as they have the file. If you contest the charges, call and tell them so! If not, you can always cease&desist by telling iQor to stop calling you, clearly, in which case we are bound by law to stop for a minimum of three months. But it does not erase the file.
When I called the number it rang once and some guyed picked it up and said hello,of course I thought maybe I had dialed the wrong number as I expected to hear a company name first. This guy fed me quite a line and asked me for my address which I didn't give him, I said you apparently already have my address or I wouldn't have received this letter, and when I asked them to fax me a copy of the debt the guy said I would have to speak to BEll Tv myself and hung up. So I came to the computer to find out who they are. And I thank people here for shinning the light on this place.
The guy on the phone told that the letterhead has the wrong number and right away he knew the bill was for Bell Canada. He told me to call 1 866 205-2087 Monday morning.
I cant wait to talk to someone because this is bullcrap. I dont owe any such bill. The same crap happened with a bogus Rogers account. I found out that there is a mark against me on my credit report from a collection agency. A 200.00 debt that I am told to pay if I want a loan from anyone. I am not paying for a debt that I didnt do. I enough of my own bills let alone ones that these bottom feeders make up.
