Beware of Mr. Larry Stephans and Brylaw Accounting Firm. He gets you involved in an IPO Scheme which is designed to steal paul to pay peter. If you given money to this firm or Mr. Larry himself for an IPO that he promised will double or quadruple your money, please continue posting on this website. We need to unite to expose this person and this firm.

    Larry Stephens is a good man just because it is a minority own company you just want to shut down BryLaw  and say bad things that a not true about that company the man built that company from the ground up and to have you people slander his name is B.S , that's what's wrong with america now can't stand to see another Black Man make it in corporate America all I have to say is f*** you and get a life...Free Speech

      DRICO Than what is the deal with Larry right now? these are all people that have trusted Larry and were proud to do business with him knowing he was one of the best .If they had a problem with his race they would have never worked with him from the get go. I am struggling just like everyone else because he has become elusive and hard to reach, and taxes that I paid Brylaw to efile a month ago the IRS tells me were not. It appears there  is a growing list of people in my situation that obviously would like to think the better of Larry right now but can't reconcile the lack of responsibility on his part and the part of his staff.Larry if you are reading this contact your clients and let them know what is going on. especially the ones with loose ends such as mine.

        Update: I am pleased to say that Larry's staff has contacted me concerning the filed returns and things are back on track. Hope everyone else finds resolution with Brylaw. He has always done a good job in years past for me and I plan on  sticking with Larry. No need to panic and run just because it appears  he may be going through a ruff time. if you read the linked documents they do not refer to Larry or Brylaw as defendants. That tells me that thus far the investment opportunity he offered to his unworthy client was legitimate.The charges in the indictment are unrelated to to the integrity of the investment opportunity that Brylaw provided and appeared to only have  served as a place of investment for the funds. NO ONE HAS CONTROL OVER THE INTEGRITY OR THE BUSINESS PRACTICES OF  THEIR CUSTOMERS so linking BryLaw to the acts of one of their clients at this juncture is wrong.I have yet to read where  Brylaw has done anything  wrong or illegal and hope the best for Larry and his staff.

      Drico, is that what you think?  Because he is a minority we are attacking him?  Black or white, when someone is a thief, they are a thief.  And Larry is a THIEF!  He has taken millions from people and if you really think he is a good man, then you have a sick concept of what is good.

    I have been told for 6 weeks that the server is down so emails and phone calls can't be returned.  Does this mean the people there just stop working altogether?  My taxes are done (supposedly) so I just need to get the paperwork into my hands so I can file.  Has anyone had luck with any contact so far?

    I have known Larry for a long time and I am so confused on why he has not return our phone calls??? We even introduced a new client to him and he has not responded to our client but has the clients papers and has had them for a few months now! We want the clients papers and can not seem to get anyone to respond to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have called every number we have and have sent emails. I do not want to believe what people are saying this man never did us wrong. Mr. Kaiser I agree he never took money from us as well but why is he not returning our calls. This client is in serious trouble and will be leaving soon out of the country and again I just do not understand why Larry has not called us back can you now tell me if you are convinced that something is not going on?? I have gone to the office everyday and the same note is on the door and no one home! People are driving by asking the same questions to each other outside this mans office! I pray his health is not the problem? and would just ask that someone please post if they find out any info on him.  I do not want to get our attorney involved so PLEASE if anyone has any info please post!

    909-606-3544 He is a smart and reasonable man so get your stuff from Brylaw and move over the street to John Rodell CPA.  I have now found that Larry did not file papers for our year 2010 and 2011!!!! This did not make me happy! and on the state site Larry's Lic expired in July of 2011! and has not been renewed! John will make it all better he knows his stuff!!! Call him and make an appointment to meet with him.

      I looked up his license and it says current and active for the firm.  Check this link...

      I know my returns were electronically filed for years past because I got the refunds that were due.  This doesn't put this business in the clear with all the other weird things that are going on.  I am like most others that have posted on here, I have been treated well by Larry and his employees and even had return calls up until a week or so ago but now with no response there has to be more to this story and I don't want to be a part of it!

        This site does not say current!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It expired in July of 2011 so the firm could not work under that lic for the year 2012 actually since july of 2011.

    Scratch my last comment, I do see now that the info I pulled is UPDATED through July 11th 2012 but the license was clear only until July 11th 2011.  Coincidence that today's date lines up with the expiration date so it through me off, it's the year where the concern is.  Ugh...

    He has left people hanging, taken money and not returned and no one can reach him. Obviously, there is a lot that the commoners like us don't know about him.

    With all this hostility going back and forth it would sure be nice to get an answer as to what is going on.  I don't think anyone on here has anything PERSONALLY against Larry but there are legitimate concerns about our own personal situations which have been left in Brylaw's hands.  I sincerely hope that Larry and his staff are not in any kind of trouble and that they are healthy and safe, however Brylaw falling off the map has created some serious questions for each of us.  The naive side of me says everything will be ok but my common sense side says that, given the lack of communication, there is still a lot that will come to the surface.  Those who are accusing without fact - stop and give the benefit of the doubt until you have the whole story.  Those who are vehemently defending - if you know more information that can clear this up please share what you know.

    Yep so his firm was not licensed in 2011 nor 2012!!! Not sure about his PTIN number have to call the IRS for that.

    We have met the man in person and have trusted him just like so many of others here. We do have our facts right as well. If any of you are involved in Larry's so called IPO scheme, let's unite. He is taken the money and now disappeared! This man is way more than what appears to be.
