Beware of Mr. Larry Stephans and Brylaw Accounting Firm. He gets you involved in an IPO Scheme which is designed to steal paul to pay peter. If you given money to this firm or Mr. Larry himself for an IPO that he promised will double or quadruple your money, please continue posting on this website. We need to unite to expose this person and this firm.

    I have moved on with my life and got things taken care of but I have to say I am curious as all hell as to what is going on!  I know where his office is and even where he lives (lived?) but it is not worth the effort to pursue something that is now in the past.  That being said, if anyone has information to share about this ordeal please post it because my curiousity is still running wild.

    This guys owes people money....He is a scam artist and borrows money from people and tell you Chris Cooper is a big construction company and he needs money to fund Cal trans pravailing wage contracts... Larry spends your money on houses and gambles it away in bowling leagues. He is hiding and owes $10 million dollars

    Larry Stephens aka Lawrence Paul Stephens of BryLaw is a fraud, a liar, a thief, and many other things. He stole $300,000 from me and my family. This robbery will never go away nor will I. Chris Cooper doesn't exist nor does the Black Canyon Project. Never did. Everything was complete BULLSH*T. The people on this thread defending this piece of sh*t are out of your mind.

      Can anyone give "Specifics" of what "Scam" BryLaw was running? What is The Black Canyon Project? If it was Incorporated.. from what state? Who is Chris Cooper? any contact info on him? Has anyone talked to Larry or is there any confirmation he is "Out of town getting Cancer treatment"? This website shows the only complaints and/or victims.
      How could The FI or PD get in touch with Victims?

        Brylaw was running various scams. Black Canyon project, IPO schemes and who knows how many. I believe he has told different stories to different people none of which are true. He is lying when he is saying he is out of town.

      you can "Always" get ahold o Mr. Stephans please tell us your where an when.  We have tried the Chino Hills office address and all of the lights in the front room are out, a lady working in the back office will come to the door and speak through a crack in the glass saying there are still doing business as usual. Larry and Makissa never come in.  Others claim he is "Out of town getting cancer treatment"  
      No return phone calls. Kids still playing in the pool at the Riverside house but Larry and wife are nowhere to be found.  So if you can reach him please post where and when? Specifically?  It would be horrible to find that all of these people are feeling taken advantage of if Mr. Stephans is truly taking care of his own health firsIft.

    Wow you must be the only one.  Do you think the rest of us are making this up?  He's abandoned this clients and apparently stole from them so why won't he return calls or emails?  An "F-U" would even be better but he doesn't even have enough class to respond.

    Do they have another business??? How are they able to do this?? Maybe we should all show up there and demand some answers. It appears they are just "moving on" while all of us are left wondering what happened to our money and suffering. That hardly seems fair!! I will be there on their Grand Opening for sure! And everyday after, if I have to in order to get some answers!

    I'm going to still go. I want answers if they ask me to leave I will .  I will be there at least once a week. This is a public place.  Why should they have a easy life after stealing !!!!!!!!!

    Where Makissa and Larry actually there? Or employees. How do they have "armed guards" outside the store? It's a public access area.  Did your husband confront them and refuse to leave?
