I had not ordered the subscriptin to Good housekeeping and after several requests for payment and receiving the magazine I finally paid the $7.00 plus charge.  I recently received a bill for $15.33 I wrote on the bill cancel, I then received another bill and again wrote on it Cancel and even wrote on the envelope CANCEL! then I went on line and canceled it on line .  Today, I received another bill saying it was the SECOND request for payment.  I WILL NEVER AGAIN READ THIS MAGAZINE DUE TO THEIR BILLING!!!!!!!
I will NOT sent to these people one penny for the magazines they are now sending to me.  They continue to send the magazines which I will CHUCK INTO the GARBAGE!!!! Plese let them know that that type of billing is only getting people to not read their magazine.  Good Housekeeping is now on my DO NOT READ LIST AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW OF MY PROBLEMS WITH THEM, THEY WILL CONTINUE TO LOOSE READERS DUE TO THEIR INABALITY TO UNDERSTAND WE DO NOT WANT THEIR MAGAZINE.  JOAN LEVESQUE, 741 TYLER ROAD, lEXINGTON, TN 38351 .  Please stop the delevery and constant billing of a magazine I do not want!!!!!!

There is a continuing pattern of complaints against Good Housekeeping, and a marketing partner/debt collector, reporting that they apparently coerce unwanted subscriptions on consumers, demanding payments for unordered magazines.

This is a violation of U.S. postal regulations, and may be mail fraud.

File complaints with your state Attorney General, the New York Attorney General, and the U.S. Postal Inspector.

I  am sending this post on behalf of my mother she has repeatedly told good house keeping cancel any magazines since she never ordered anything. My mother received a letter the following week she owed money, this is nothing short of harassment. Please if their is a lawsuit please add myself and my mother Paula Small.

the above name is my 16 yr old granddaughter.  I had ordered Seventeen magazine for her 2 yrs ago.  All of sudden she starts getting unsubscribed issues of Good Housekeeping.  I absolutely will not pay for something never subscribed to! Scam, big x!

If you get bills for unordered products. replies to Samantha Stauch
it's a form of mail fraud.  You have no obligation to pay for things you did not order. File fraud complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, and the US Postal Inspector.

I have been receiving bills from Good Housekeeping for money I do not owe. This is giving the magazine a bad name.  It is also very annoying to me.

Yes they are horrible, cannot get rid of them when continuously requesting they stop sending you renewal bills after requesting a whole year prior to stop,my next complaint is the better business bureau, will never order another magazine again.  Hearst Company needs to be honest and get their act together or be shut down in New York.Dirty business.

On 11/6/2011 I sent you a check #148 in the amount of $15.97 to cover a one year subscription for myself and a gift subscription for Wendy Taylor, my daughter. On 1/16/2012 I received an invoice for $7.97 for the gift subscription. On 1/18/2012 I sent the invoice back with a note on it to correct your records. Evidently this was not done since on 1/30/2012 I got another notice to pay the same $7.97 for order #1021437833. I am asking you once again to correct your records and stop sending me invoices for a bill that was paid.

I received a notice that I needed to pay 23.94 for subscription for renewal& 1 gift . I sent it in. The following I received a notice that a payment of $17.97 was needed for my renewal & 1 gift renewal. Seeing that I already paid $23.94 for what I thought was my renewal price I expect a refund of $ 5.87 from you. I feel that this practice is very untruefull on you part double billing . I got so upset that I cancelled my  order . My acct
    # 02228882460/3#  So now I expect the return of my $ 23.94 & cancelation of my subscription. I've been a customer a very long time& but your billing process is leaves something to be desired.

I received a letter from your Credit & Collections Department stating "delinquent account " I did not request a subscription/renewal for Good Housekeeping!!! I have subscribed to your magazine in the past and I have NOT received one of your magazines in a very long time. After receiving this threating letter for something I did not order, I highly doubt I will ever subscribe again to your magazine. I will NOT send you a check for the  $9.00 payment you are requesting for the account # 1296240268 do not send me anymore invoices!!!

My subscription to Good Housekeeping does not end until February, 2014.  I recently received notice that " my renewal" was being "processed".  STOP PROCESSING as I am not renewing, especially at this new rate of $21.97 for a one year (1)
    subscription!!!
