CFS has reached out to several of my family members saying that they need to provide information on my whereabouts or else.  The numbers are 888-389-2558, 888-389-2547, 877-214-5814

    My Wife got a call searching for her sister, from phone 888-389-2558.  When we called back, they identified the calling agency as CFS.  No information is available on CFS.  They would not say why they were calling.  Just that they need to talk to her or someone with her power of attorney.

    Phone call from BRG needing to get in touch with my daughter In-law and need to contact her and know her whereabouts. They will call all the family and friends on her contact list or associates if needed. Call them back even if I know not where she is. Called them and told them I know nothing but the state they live in. Told me they would remove me from their list. Then lookup that the number was a scam. Should have done that first...1-877-214-5814..Used her maiden name and not her married name.....

      Both CFS and BRG use the number 877-214-5814, and complaints against both report the same M.O., therefore CFS is just another name for BRG.
      BRG is in the Buffalo Area.
      File complaints with FTC, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, your state Attorney General, and the New York Attorney General.

    These people called my parents home saying they need to find me.  Won't say who they are.  Now they are calling my sister-in-law saying they need to know my whereabouts or else court papers will be filed.

    CFS calling saying that I need to pay a loan from 2012 that I have a bank account, true is I don't and I check my debt collection and there's nothing there, they say FBI agents is involved and court paper will be filled

      File complaints with the New York Attorney General.
      Include in your complaint that they claimed the FBI was coming after you.

    Complaints against debt collectors..
    File complaints against debt collectors with FTC, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, your state Attorney General, and the AG in the state they're located in.

    Since CFG and BRG appear to be the same company, file complaints with the New York Attorney General.
