Stay away from these vitamins

I agreed to purchase the VitaPower Vitamins as part of the infomercial sale for the Pilate's video. It seemed like a good addition to the video I was buying.

The price for the first box of vitamins was $1. They did explain to me that VitaPower would send vitamins to me on a monthly basis, and I was fine with it. However, I didn't agree the "FAMILY" plan they placed me on! I started to receive two boxes of vitamins per week, and they were charging $33.94 for a box of VITAMINS.

I called their sales department at 888-684-9660 ten times if not more to cancel the service. They said they can't refund me the money. I will contact my credit card company and see what if anything they can do to help me recoup over $300.

    I also called and cancelled but was charged  $67.88.  I called to ask them to credit my account but they have not done so. I sent the vitamins back because they made me sick.   I am calling the Better Business Bureau and reporting this.  I would also like them to remove my credit number from their business.  I willalso tell others about this company.

      I ran into problems as well, in fact they turned me over to a collection company.  I finally got the billing phone number which is 888-428-6742.  What I discover was that they had cleared my account but they had not let the collection company know this info.  I also discovered that I had returned the product in December but billing was not told of the return until Febuary.   I hope this info might help someone, but you must call billing not customer service.

    How are they doing this scam.  I did NOT order anything that would lead to getting this product.  I would never agree to buying something taken internally over the internet as I am very allergic to medicine.  I would only go through my doctor who would monitor what I take.  This is a SCAM if I ever saw one.

    Definitly a SCAM! Says $33.94 for 2 MONTH Supply, when called and canceled the price was only for 1 MONTH!!! Will still have to pay another $33.94 in August, because it is a package deal.  After that told it will stop being charged/shipped.  We will see...

    This past school year we had an exchange student from denmark living with us. He has now gone back home but also told us he has tried to cancel but they are still charging his card. Another thing is i just today recieved 2 boxes in the mail and he is back in denmark. I agree this is a scam and something needs to be done.

    Yes, If you are on top of it you will be a happy customer like me. When I got this product it was a good buy. I was okay I will take it for a dollar. I was like I do not want my card to be charged every month for something am only trying out. They were like ma'am you can cancel at anytime. So what I did was wait one week to make sure they got me in the system and sent the order, I called them even before I received my shipment. I told them my card got charge and what to cancel the monthly shipment. So I was told instead of me cancelling it I can remove my order from monthly auto-ship. If I don't response to a mail or an email they send to me to confirm the shipment it won'r be shiped and I won't get paid. So that was how successfully I cancelled the order.

    However, I changed my Credit Card. So even if they don't stop the shipment, it won't be charge to my card; cuz the card they have on file has been cancelled. So another thing to avoid being charged cancel your credit card number, get a new card. It might seem like a lot of work to cancel your card, but do you still want to be charged? No!

    Talk to a supervisor if you have any trouble. I got the vitamins when I ordered Sheer Cover. I tried to cancel it TWICE after I got the 1st shipment, but they still sent me more vitamins. I called several times before I asked for a supervisor, and both girls were a big help. I ended up shipping the vitamins back and got a mail reciept from the post office, then faxed the mail reciept to them. Let's hope they don't charge my account again...

    I order the product when i order the Wen shampoo after taking them for 3 days after asking a doctor where there ok in taking my mouth became sore with red spots on the roof of my mouth also my throat hurts whenever i swallow i called to cancel and get my money refund the lady state i will only be refund a dollar they can have that dollar but my order better be cancel.

    I ordered the the product when I ordered the Wen shampoo as well. I recieved the vitamins within 5 days and still haven't received my shampoo!?!  I like the vitamins and may continue use, not sure after seeing all these comments...

    So, I was a bit nervous and decided to call VitaPower to confirm how the program works, cancellation policy, billing, etc. I have to say that customer service was extremely helpful in explaining everything to me, provided me my customer ID and discussed the product at length.     I too was offered the $1.00 try out deal when I ordered Wen product. I was very clear that I did not want future shipment, yet I recieved one yesterday and a charge on my card for 50 some odd dollars. I was very ANGRY when I called them. No means NO! They claimed that I has to call the # on the invoice when I received my $1.00 shipment. WHAT INVOICE ???? there wasn't any so I had no where to call until I received the second package where the phone # was on the box,Once again, no invoice. Then I was told that I could return it if I hasn't open it but I had done so looking for an invoice. I raised hell. The nerve of some peoples children !!!! The attorney General should be called on them....

    these people are still charging my account for the vita power and i am not interested in it at all. the service is so bad i got these vitamins when i ordered pro-active, i cancelled two months back and the still charging,it takes for ever to get to talk to a person, i guess i have to join the club and cancel my credit card m so sick of it,imagine what if the money in my account is not enough i will have an overdraft and a fee for something i don't want.... hope someone wll get thru to them so that they stop taking our money.
    someone please suggest that they stop or make the automatic charge an option not an imposition.its day light robbery.

    I just called and cancelled my shipment today.  Told them to never send anything else.  They said they cancelled it and to ship back the ones they sent and within three weeks they will refund the $68.77 that they charged.  Hopefully they will.  They really don't take no for an answer.  They wanted to offer me 60% off and all kinds of stuff.  I told them all I wantede was to cancel and to have nothing else taken out of my account.  Supposedly they won't.  I will find out and will post whether the credit my account back.  I plan on sending it certified so I have proof that they received it!  I reached them by calling 888-684-9660.  I am also going to call wen products and ask them if they are aware that people that order their product are being taken advantage of by the vitamin company and it will affect their reputation as well.

    Yea I have u have to cAll the number n request termination n they will ask to send back the box to get a refund I did that through certified mail n got a full refund n it was cancelled
