I wish I have posted my experience earlier so that I could have  protected

some  innocent people in this trap.

Let me explain what happened to me.(  membership.(RIHC1/040809/5566-165points)

I  spent  three and half lakhs rupees, wasted  so much of my precious time over last four years and  did not even have a single day of holiday theirs  or alliance resort (GAP Resort) over these three years.

Since I am mailing to few other people let me explain you how it all started.

I was holidaying in Club Mahindra Goa, with my & my brother-in- laws family in August 2009.
While I am there one of my friend called me from UK (Dr Rai) and during the conversation he asked me that he and his friend family are coming to Goa in December that year and asked me whether I can book them a resort while I am there. I asked at Club Mahindra but they said they only offer to Club Mahindra Members.

Then I met this sales man in Private Beach of Club Mahindra (I feel they should not have allowed these thugs to enter their private beach) offering visit to Haathi mahal and offering free gift. I was not at interested in gifts but I thought I can book resort to my friend if it looks okay.

Then I met another sales man (I can’t remember the name now-Arif/Asif) in Club Mhahindra.This guy insisted me that I should take whole family including kids there and checked I have got credit card. Also said it won’t take more than an hour. So I and my Brother-in –laws family visited Haathi Mahal on 4th August 2009

We were through the session of explanations about Karma Royal Resorts by Neelu Menom which lasted nearly one and half to two hour though in beginning only telling her intention of my visit. (To book a paid resort to my Friend). Then we were joined by Jessica Gracias. They both insisted that I should take membership which is available at discounted rate only today and sign the membership for three lacks.

Next one hour and half hour is most horrible time of Holiday in Goa.

I must have told atleast 25times I am not interested in Membership.
Ever time when I say no they came up how best holiday I can have in Next 25 years across the world for Pea nuts.
Frequently I was stopped abruptly during conversation.
I said I don’t want any free gifts, let me go-For that Jessica Gracias said I wasted three hours of their time.
They made me looks small in front of children. (As if I am refusing to buy 1 rupee ice cream for them)

They Insulted My Profession (You are such a big Doctor in United Kingdom cant you afford Pea nuts for happiness of your family)

Least to say their tactics are disgusting...

Finally under the pressure I agreed to take the membership.

Initially they said I have to pay Rs 35,000 and rest of 3 lakhs over five Years. Since I did not proof of address in India they forced me to pay all Rs 323,112.00  which I did with my Credit Card and signed the membership.(RIHC1/040809/5566-165points)

All I got was Vouchers of a week holidays for two families.


Free Holiday Vouchers

I try to use these vouchers to book holiday for my friends (Dr Rai & Peter Fox) who were visiting India in December 2009. They wanted only four day holidays in Goa as rest of the tour was fixed. But they refused give holidays any of your resort in Goa on these specific dates. My friends refused your dates of offer, vouchers went waste and I wasted so much time...
I sent E mail asking whether I can use it in future; I did not get any reply.

Holidays I enjoyed next three Years…

Like a fool I try to enjoy the forced relationship. I paid next two year of membership.(Rs 15,000 each year).
But when I tried to book holiday, response I got was

The Resort you have asked not affiliated us any more…
That Resort is not available in that period
But we have other resort, at other place, at other date (when children having school) with an extra cost…
And I wasted so much of time…

Only holiday booked was, last year two days of holiday was booked at royal palms for my friend (Dr Praksh Raviraj). That also he wanted at Hathi Mahal which was refused. (Though it was available from other Holiday web sites) and feedback I got from him is that is a filthy place.
After trying hard to book holiday this year decided not to pay any more for membership.


It is shame that company like this still exit, even after so much evidence available on line that how big a scammer, cheater and liars are…

The company says do charity for children, But bl… use children for cunning scam…

If it had happened in western countries, company like this would have closed long before and probably few people behind the bars as well.

That wasn’t first time I visited Goa (But will probably the last time)
I gave All India Postgraduate medical entrance examinations in Goa in 1990. I came with few friends stayed few days afterwards. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Goa. The hotel we stayed wasn’t posh but people were honest.
That trip is still in my memory.

I spent first 30 years in India and I love my country
But I haven’t come across this high level professional cunning people before.

It not the first time somebody approached me for holiday membership. When I was in club Mahindra their sale man called and explained me about their membership. He did not check weather I have got credit card or not, he did not ask my profession, did not make me look small in front women and children and more importantly at end of meeting I told him I will look in to it and comeback if I am interested. He respected that.

At any time if I want holiday membership I will take from Club Mahindra.

Unfortunately I don’t have time to put case against them..
But I have got stronger weapon…
I will use next of 21 years of membership year in Social net work site, forms, blog… explaining what happened to me in Goa. & Karma Royal Resorts

It has got the Power. It has brought down Dictators in Egypt, Libya and in many part of the world…

      Yes you can very well go ahead, you can take a holiday and experience the benefits the Karma Group timeshare has to offer. I am a member since 2009 and I am pretty happy with the concept. The membership has a lot to offer provided you use it carefully

      I too feel that they are professionals at the time of selling only but very very poor in after sales service.They have offered discounted rate for me and my family to stay at their resort in goa and after that convinced me to become a member.I have paid irs 360,000/- within an year and as per their offer tried to book at the resort in chiangmai,thailand.The reply was that it is fully booked and proposed another resort with additional amount.I have asked them to propose a date when their resort is free but has not received any reply.I have contacted the sales person but he was acting as busy and did not replied for my whats ap message.. Seems these are least bothered of their customers...They just need your money and do not serve you  better,finally i have arranged my trip through another booking site which was much less expensive than their proposal.

      We have enrolled with the Karma Group last month, introduction in the similar manner as experienced by many members. We  made the initial down payment of 10K. After hearing such negative comments , wondering what action to take next. How to verify the financial  strength and standing of  of the company in the market ?

      I am having two memberships on points system of karma for 33 years ending in 2036/37. Now the new ones are for only 25 years. I have used every year and satisfied.
      However since I have two I want to sell one at half the current price.

      This the worst holiday company in India. Management charges are too exhobitant .One can easily have a 7nights holiday at Goa even in tbe peak seasons without any hazzle at the same cost as your managament charges without even having to pay your membership for 25years.Total waste of money. One cant get booking during peak seasons at all.I have 189 points platinum membership No 0056975IVO

          From last 3 days I am chasing for booking hotel in Goa, until now no reply and top of that you never get Haathi Mahal stay. I have call from Dubai to see why I am not getting reply and then one of your executive asked my name and found out that yes I did mail. Just horrendous service. I have out to find out if any govt authority can initiate and stop this scam, in the very beginning it says 25 years free and then come up with yearly management fees in which we can get 5star hotel booking easily with breakfast and the worst is for members in Karma Royal there is no breakfast.

      Hello Guys, My girlfriend and I, just made the same mistake today.
      we were convinced to say no, but they keep insisting until you sign up for the membership and pay the down deposit.
      Our fault...we feel so bad and stupid, we have wasted one day of our beautiful holiday in Bali.
      please stay away from this company and their sales people.

        Recently I along with family were on holiday at Club Mahindra Goa, when one afternoon at a beach there came a salesman from Royal hotels with offer for free gift on peel of voucher as if we are the lucky ones and requested us to attend a presentation at Royal Hathikhana hotel at Goa. Pick up & drop will be arranged by them. Out of curiosity we went there and voila! There were more than 30 families sitting at 3rd floor open room and who were also lured to this presentation gimmick assuring them (I'm sure) as lucky ones!!
        First hour was wasted without any direction by the sales person Clessy. Of course we got some tea/coffee and my daughter a chicken sandwich. Then the sales person started pitching for all the goodies vs Club Mahindra. Trying to show case some of Karma group's resorts outside India. Then suddenly she left and another salesperson Nitin replaced her and he started all over again. We were getting bored as it was already 2hrs sitting there. We said show us the property at Hathikhana. So we went around and the rooms he showed were good (sales pitch!!). Came back again to 3rd floor room and he called the manager Jitender for discussing membership & payment. Initial offer was 8.75 lacs INR. I said not interested! Then he reduced to 4.75 lacs INR. I said NO. He came back after 5 mins with 3.75 lacs offer saying this is last price and have to sign the agreement now. I refused , then he said special offer 3.15 lacs but I'll have to surrender Club Mahindra membership!! I replied no way!! He came back with last offer at 3.00 lacs and no need to surrender Club mahindra membership.  I was already getting suspicious, now seeing the desperation of sales person & his manager it was confirmed that there is something big time fishy deals going on there. The sales person also showed me another member who had signed up on 6th Aug 17 from Delhi @ 3.6 lacs!!
        I saw that these people have no morality and not at all professional. I got up to leave this place but they were still trying to sell me their rotten membership.
        I was lucky to have got out of their tricks safely without loosing any money. Of course wasted 3 hrs of my holiday time in Goa due to these buggers.
        All those who got lured into loosing your money by these cheaters , can lodge complaints with Consumer Protection Forum at Goa or any place near you, so that you can get your money back and teach these money cheaters the right lesson.

        yes we are so embaressed that we fell for it paid our deposit there and then we were there for 6 hours they practicaly drained us, then we went back next day to cancel but they said there was no cooling period because it was a Singapore company, so they said we could do the shorter period which is 10 years for half the point I don't understand it. so we come home and they send us acc for rest of money discount if we pay all of so we did ( we just keep getting deeper and deeper now we r send acc for the first maintenance fee don't know wheather I should pay it. we were told we would have cruises pay for 1 get the 2nd free that hasn't happen they are expensive, we have been on cruises cheaper that what they quote, we were told we can get to go away for $99 per week where ever we wanted to go, all the ones they have send us, are $99 a night or 199 or 299 or 399 a week, now they keep on sending me msg if we pay our maintenance before a certain date we will get discount and go in a draw to win $5000, I think we can kiss that money goodbye, now my husband lost his job great news all round I don't even want to think about it, sorry about the whinge.
