I have purchased agt. my I.D. 880000854  provided by India Today book Club.I got activated my Unique Promotion Number & I received my HOLIDAY VOUCHER NO. & They asked me to log on to www.bigcity.in/indiatoday/holiday so as to get activated my HOLIDAY VOUCHER NO.,but This site is not opening at all.  I was under the impression that India Today will send me directly to me their gift vouchers, but to my surpirse at the end they told me to go to this site.  After several attemp I am unable to get this site.Every time when I contact on their customer care they told me they will inform soon,but till date i am unable to find any solution,neither i got my HOLIDAY VOUCHER NO. activated due to site problem.Can any body from "India Today Club "  tell me what is the solution for this or all this is FRAUD with the customers of India Today Club.

    Hi,

    I have also purchased some books from India Today book club and waited for Holiday voucher. After no. of inquiries (are the ladies sitting at counter are deaf... they never take the call) they told me to download 'Booking Request Form' which i was able to download after 15 days of hard work. Now when i got that I have posed it to according to their instructions. they were supposed to sent me another form in which i shall give the list of 3 destinations but till date i haven't received any postage from them nor any feed back. Whensoever i call them no one pick up the call.

    I think better India Today stops this promotional activity as they are loosing respect & trust b'caz of which they have grown so big. Its big fraud.

    This complaint is regarding a serious fraud that sales agent of India today are doing these days.One guy called me and told me that I have done shopping before also from their company so I am eligible for a draw in which If I buy a product I will get a miniumum guaranted prize of RS5000 and max of Rs one lac.So I bought a swatch watch .After few days a guy named Abhijeet called me again and told that I have won RS60000 which will be transfered to my account in few days or I can get a draft but if I continue to play this game and buy one more product of min rs 15000 I will be elligible for next round where only few persons has gone and it has a guaranted prize of Rs 100000 so I bought a HTC phone and he gave me a claiming ID to claim the prize.But now when I had called there customer care they told that it is not true.These guys have cheated me and maybe many other people aswell.I also want to cancel both the products and my money to be refunded.I want strict action to be taken against these guys.
    My membership ID is ITBC10318612.I only bought these products because they were provided by a reputed group of Times of India.

    Is India Today Club an authentic firm?  Is it safe to transact with them?  Looking at all these comments, I don't think so.

    BigCity Promotions have wrongly printed my mobile number on their Vouchers. I have been getting calls from past 2 months. Initially I didn't pay any attention to these calls and told the callers that they might be dialing the wrong number.

    Since last 15 days i have been getting frequent calls and as I work in US timings am unable to sleep properly.

    I called BigCity Promotions 2 days back and the manager there was supposed to call which didnt happen and again i called yesterday and the representative assured me that without fail i will be getting a call but didnt get any.

    This is so frustrating for me.. Please advise. I am planning to goto consumer forum and court if necessary.
