Hi Team,
I am using Micromax X802 phone with India Airtel # 9599094753. Recently I came to US but somehow my phone is not finding any signals and showing no service since then. I do not want to receive any calls or anything just want to receive messages as enrolled in banking and suppose to get OTPs.
Please suggest.

    I came to US last year... My Airtel Sim was working properly.. but since last 15 days , my sim stopped working . Tried restarting phone several times , tried reinserting sim card, tried changing settings and everything . But no use...  Please help me solve the issue as all bank account otps are getting to Airtel number and it's very difficult to make any transaction .. kindly solve it and reply...

    I too have same problem as like other guys. It was working almost 18 months but suddenly stopped working when I restarted my Samsung device. I tried in other smartphones including iPhone but no luck. At and t is showing but Registration Registration getting failed. My mail I'd is mani5ji@gmail.com

    My number is 9830607367 and we have a One Airtel plan. My wife's number is 9903977367. We recently moved these numbers from Vodafone to Airtel. Since our arrival to the US we have not been able to connect to any mobile network. These numbers worked fine when we were with Vodafone.

    The problem is that the Airtel SIM card that works in India stops working in the USA after a while.  My assumption is that the USA carriers do not want unregistered ( non USA ) phones to work in the USA on their networks.  They let you use the phone for a short time ( for visitors to USA ), but eventually T Mobile and ATT will not let you connect.   My solution appears to work consistently.   Use a USA phone that works with ATT or TMobile network in the USA.   The Indian phone IMEI number which is not registered in the USA does not work, even though it works in India.  If the phone is unlocked it will work.  Airtel India did say you need a credit balance on your account - it must be more than a certain amount - but they did not specify the amount, they do reccommend getting a data plan too.  Get the 365 day 24 GB plan for Rs. 1799 (not international plan) and you should be good to go for a year, and will get OTP from India.  Using the phone in the USA for calling will be expensive, but getting SMS from anywhere including India does not appear to incur any costs.  I have tested this on 4 old ATT and Tmobile unlocked USA phones and they all find ATT or TMobile and get OTP from Airtel as soon as you restart the phone after adding the Airtel SIM.  It works well on an Old Verizon Iphone and it connects to TMobile or ATT without any issues.  Best of luck and share the information with everyone who is having this problem.
