Hasn't BP done eough damage already? They spent a few bucks to give the appearance that they cleaned up their most recent global catastrophy.
But they can's seem to scrape enough money together to stop tis scam that is being perpetrated in their name. How much can it cost to chase down a few (if not one) I P Address?

These scams usually use well known names, to steal their credibility.
They are probably sitting in some Nigerian internet cafe, cooking up fake emails every day, and trading instant messages on what's working with the "mugus", just like fishermen. The world is connected, so fraud can come from anywhere, and use any name.
The rest of the world will just have to get smarter, or the telecoms and ISPs will have to more effectively block spam.
No chance anyone will be able to stop email and SMS fraud.
Just don't fall for it.
How about a global SPAM filter, not a far reach if you're looking for bang for the buck.
