They took $79.00 from my account and I didn't order anything. I had actually closed my account with them 2 months prior to this withdrawal.

On 10/23/09 while looking at my bank account i found a withdrawal of $79 made by posterpass.com  I had not made any kind of purchase from them I actually 2 months prior had canceled my account with after I had started to do an online survey and one of the things you could do was sign up with posterpass and get 4 posters for $4 each and then no obligation to buy any further u could cancel account with them. as i continued on with survey I realized it was more than meets the eye and immmedatly called posterpass and canceled the woman i spoke to said that monies in the amount of $16.00(4poster x $4) had already beeen processed she said I could still keep the deal if I wanted and cancel my account so i did.  Now 2 months later $79 has been taken from my account for no purchases made and an I account i had closed i contacted posterpass on 10/23 spoke with a gentleman named Larry who assured me that monies would be refunded in last couple of day i have tried to call again just to confirm that refund was being processed and i get is a voice message saying first they are busy with other customers then goes to another saying they r closed please leave a message which i have and have not received a call back.

you need to go to www.ic3.gov and file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center.  The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).

IC3's mission is to serve as a vehicle to receive, develop, and refer criminal complaints regarding the rapidly expanding arena of cyber crime. The IC3 gives the victims of cyber crime a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of suspected criminal or civil violations. For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at the federal, state, local and international level, IC3 provides a central referral mechanism for complaints involving Internet related crimes.

    Check it out!

I cancelled my account with this fraudulent company over 18 months ago.  There were no other transactions from them until this Thanksgiving Day (2 days ago) when they charged me $79.00!

They charged me a $49.00 fee and then a $79.00 fee!  Buyer beware these people are serious con artists!  I am disputing this with my bank as we speak!  I am having to change all my bank account info so they can no longer charge me.  Which makes a heck of a lot of work for me as I will have to change all my account info with all the other people I do business with!  I am livid!

Yep me too same deal.  Over a yr ago I did the 5 for $5 deal and then was charged 39.00 for a membership I was never told about.  Took them over a month to refund that and now a yr later a 79.00 charge has shown up.  I'm on the phone with my bank right now.  I have called and left many messages and sat on hold and have gotten no response from posterpass.com!!!!  UGH!

I got the "deal" also. 4 posters for $2.00 each. I then immediately after ordering (in October of 2008) canceled my account. Starting in November of 2009 I have been charged $79.00 on three seperate charges to my CC. I recevied the first order and then for a year I received no other posters from them and thought it was done and over with then get hit with almost $240.00 in charges from them. I've tried calling their "customer service" for a week now and have left numerous messages for them to call back to no avail. Half the time when I call I just get "all circuits are busy, hang up and try again".

I got the $79 charge and canceled back in August (three months later they took money out with no product even requested or arriving).

I want to see if there is a basis for a class action suit with the millions of ripped off people banding together to put these thieves out of business.
If you are interested in a CLASS ACTION email me at

    lelander2112@gmail.com

Seems like if all the unsatisfied step up this company would be out of business.

This has just reinforced what I have been believing all along. They got me too, after I cancelled in Feb. of 2008!!   You cannot purchase anything on line.  There is not a secure site.  The Stuff you buy to protect yourself from this kind of thing is as usless as the posters these jerks are selling.  I will NOT purchase another thing online.  I am cancelling my debit/credit cards and getting new ones and no one will ever get me to give them my number again unless I am purchasing in person and then it will only be a have to.  I am done with cyber shopping.    There is no safe site.  I will not be persuaded again.  These people are thieves and they only catch cyber thieves on T.V. I have been an identity theft victim and the B---- got away with it, even though there were security tapes and she was identified!!!  White collar computer crimes being prosecuted is a joke, the best one I have heard in a long time. Just to forewarn you, if you are behind me in line, I will be paying by check or cash and if that takes to long for you , well you better find another line.

I cancelled my account more than 2 years ago and I have just been charged the $79.00 this week. Just like everyone else on here I've called and I get a message prompting me to leave a message.  How can they do this?  Is there a way to find out who is behind this and stop them?

I checked my bank account and I found I was charge with two payments of $79 dollars. I called them right after I checked out my bank account but I got there voice mail. Same has happened to me!! 2 charges at $79 each at the end of November.  THE BEST WAY TO MAKE THESE SCUMBAGS ACCOUNTABLE IS TO GO TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION'S SITE, WHICH IS WWW.FTC.GOV, AND TO FILE A COMPLAINT!!!!!!  PLEASE EVERYONE DO THIS THAT HAS HAD A FRAUDULENT CHARGE FROM THIS SITE!!!!!!!!  IT IS VERY QUICK AND EASY!!!!!! I am in law school and have studied this area, and this is truly the best way to make the government agency that regulates deceptive business practices aware of companies like this.  If they receive enough complaints, they will bring legal action upon these crooks, and they will hopefully be shutdown.

Same thing here too!! I ordered the promotional offer back last march..canceled and just now was charged $79 on 11/28 and 11/30..and now on 12/9 a box shows up. Looking back on my credit card, I also found 3 more charges totalling about $100. I called my cc, cancelled and reported as fraudulent!! I have left 3 messages this week and will now file a complaint with the attorney general in Illinois.
