I have been reciving phone calls daily asking for Daughter who does  not live here and have given her phone # to them---I have health issues and this constitutes harassment to me and my health---I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling and it continues---their # is 1-262-703-1977 and I wish that this can be taken care of or that the correct agency is told so that they are forced to stop---I cannot take any more of this---Thank you!

If it is their in-house collections department, contact their executive offices.

If it is a separate debt collector, then they are violating FDCPA by failing to accurately identity themselves, by name, and as a debt collector.  Ask for their name and address and send them a letter requesting that they cease communications with you, since they have been calling your number for a person who does not live at your address.

I have been getting calls from 262-703-1977. Since I don't answer the phone for numbers I don't know, I did not know who was calling.

I finally called the number back and it was Kohl's.  The lady who answered was polite. She looked up my number and could not find anything so she offered to remove my name from their call list. She said it could take a few weeks to kick in so not to worry if another call comes through in that time.

I have never had an account with Kohl's but have found that if I am polite my problem will get solved.  You will too if you are not a complete loser, never pay your bills or are in collections.

McDonald's is almost always hiring people so get off you lazy butt and be a part of the productive class not the democrat dependent class.

    Tah!

Your a very ignorant individual to think everyone is hiring let alone able to find a job without employers discrimating for age, disability and gender.

I DO have a Kohls account, but NEVER missed a payment. It could just be them offering up something new. They just called me!

I find it quite rude for someone to ASSume that it is a collection call, and then take it one step further to call someone names - because you did ASSume that's what it was.

To the man who mentioned McDonalds....lazy butt...etc....don't cut off your nose to spite your face dear. Many people are unemployed and have to deal with harassing collection calls when they are doing the best they can with what is available!

It COULD be YOU next, Mr. Scott, The Self-Righteous!!!

The fact people are arguing about politics on a Khols scam call complaint shows maybe you do all need to go get jobs.

It's great how you are so polite.  I got a call from that number and looked it up and found this website.  A lot of people like me pay their bills, this is some weird scam.  And obviously you are so polite, "complete loser"  "lazy butt" I hope what goes around comes around for you.

    Hi Scott2
I agree with Hi Scott.  I got calls from several collection agencies looking for another person.  Even though I explained hundreds of times that they had the wrong number they continued to call back.  I called the my phone company and the attorney generals in several of the states where the agencies were located.  Usually after an attorney would call them, they simply sold the account and a new agency would call.  The last agencies used a computer to call all times of day, up to 8 times in the same day.  The only way it stopped was when I changed numbers after a hundred long distance calls to agency offices and state attorney generals and better business bureaus.
Wish I had your number Scott, I would have given it to them so you could been polite.  They offered top come to my job.  I told them come. I have a medical disability retirement, ruining my sleep calling for the wrong person didn't bother them.

Kohl's made a mistake on my account and when I tried to get it fixed, they had about 5 truly time consuming things they wanted ME to do to correct it.  None of the people I spoke to knew what they were doing and when I get this fixed, I'm shopping at TARGET!!!

HEY this is not a real KOHLS number! It is a scam. They will ask for you SS# over the phone. It isnt a true credit collections....so obviously those "get a job" comments were a little over the line. Anyway, don't deal with the people who call you from this number. its a bunch of bs!

you're right, no legit collection agency would harass their customers.  i also got calls from that number and they would try to get all the information they need to steal your identity.

The phone number 262-703-1977 is not a number from Kohls. It is a scam and they are trying to get your social security number. They called  my house today and at first it does sound legitimate. We stayed on line and a east indian sounding person came on the line. There first question was asking for our social security number. We called and reported it to our local Kohls.

Got a call today.  I answered and woman said  " I'm looking for John Block".   I answered " no one here by that name"  and hung up.  First name was right - last name wrong.   So...  John Block beware who ever you are !!!    Sounds like phishing call.
