Complaint
Marlys Hartman
Country: United States
I have been reciving phone calls daily asking for Daughter who does not live here and have given her phone # to them---I have health issues and this constitutes harassment to me and my health---I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling and it continues---their # is 1-262-703-1977 and I wish that this can be taken care of or that the correct agency is told so that they are forced to stop---I cannot take any more of this---Thank you!

"No it's not, this is Kohl's corporate office out of San Antonio, and it is not a scam, I'll get my supervisor..." -hold music- and straight to a fake survey. I've called Kohls and I've contacted the proper authorities. After doing so there can be NO DOUBT that this IS a scam, even Kohl's has identified it as such. When calling it says you've been randomly selected to take a survey after the call is over. It matters not if you call 100 times - you'll ALWAYS be selected "randomly", but it is only an attempt to get still more personal information about your identity.
I suggest others should call this number and ask as many questions as you can, while recording the conversation. One thing you can do if being harrassed is flood their phones with 'blocked number' phone calls. hahaha. If they are calling you several times daily and asking for your soc sec# and harrassing you, do the same to them, call them several times daily, and tell them they are a scam. Most important, report this to Kohls and any relevant government agencies.
As "KG" said (27 Mar 2014) - "I received a call at home and at work. I then contacted Kohl's. They said they would never contact a customer in this fashion. The person calling is trying to get your SS# so it's absolutely a scam."
As Linda said (18 March 2014) - "The phone number 262-703-1977 is not a number from Kohls. It is a scam and they are trying to get your social security number."
As Dude1 said (30 Nov 2012) - "you're right, no legit collection agency would harass their customers. i also got calls from that number and they would try to get all the information they need to steal your identity."
As aka said (11 Oct 2012) - "HEY this is not a real KOHLS number! It is a scam. They will ask for you SS# over the phone. It isnt a true credit collections...."
