This has happened before and we continue to block the phone numbers and soon another number begins calling.  One gal stated her name was Kenya and her id number is 30012.  She gave us another number to call 1-800-936-1208 and they state they are not part of these calls.

We are tired of these calls.

These idiots call about lowering credit card interest rates and then hang up when you ask to be removed from the call list.

I was called 3 times in one day, finally the 3rd time I asked to be removed from their list.  The guy just stated that he would be sure to call me again tomorrow.  I asked to speak to a manager and the guy hung up.  I'm sure I'll be called tomorrow.

I've been getting these calls for over 2 years on 3 different phone numbers.   If everyone would do what I do, these calls would stop in 2 months.   If I have time, I play with them.   I give them a fake (but very close to real) credit card number.   When their charge doesn't go though, I ask them to hold while I go find my "other card".   I've been able to wast up to 30 minutes of their time with this game.   Another game I play is to act interested, get them going, then ask, "Can you make a quick note of something?"   Then, I give them the web address to a network marketing presentation and start in on a sales pitch to them.  They're always confused, then hang up.   With a couple of them, I'll get them started, engage them in their process, then ask, "Do you ever feel bad about all the people you hurt each day by taking money then don't have?"   Sometimes they argue or hang up.  One girl broke into tears and said it's the only job she could get.  So, I gave her a network marketing pitch.    Bottom line folks, as long as there are suckers who fall for these calls and make it profitable, the calls with continue.  The government agencies don't care at all about this.   These guys are too hard to catch.  So agent don't even try.   It's up to us to educate each other to make these calling scams unprofitable and then the crooks running them will go back to dealing drugs and burglarizing rest homes.  In the meantime, be mean and have some fun with them.

if everyone would do what you are doing you just might come up with a real number belonging to someone--sure hope it's not mine

I guess my one call every other day is not so bad. I'll have to try to mess with them using the fake CC# approach.
So are they a complete scam? Do they just want your cc# and then use it fraudulently? I've always just ignored them.

These idiots keep calling me every other day. I'm so over it! Like stated above, when I ask to be removed they hang up!

If I could reach through the phone line I would...after a couple years, numerous requests to be added to the do not call list and the addition of cell calls now (home # was bad enough), how they always just hang up. I have seriously had it and am investing in a canned air-horn for the house to blow into the phone ear piece as soon as a real person begins speaking - after I push 1 of course.
Gonna try the F*cking with them approach and fake cc# too...anything to blow off the stress they cause on a daily basis! Gotta get back at them and thier amount due is HUGE!!!

They have called my office number at least once a day for the past 7 days straight...never leave a message if I don't answer, and half the time they hang up if I do. STOP calling already!

    Yup
They seem never to quit. One guy gleefully told me they didn't pay for the phone calls. He hung up on me (imagine that) when I told him "yeah but I've kept you on the line for 20 minutes and you haven't been able to bother anyone else during that time."  They change phone numbers often enough that when I have time, I take theirs.

These cats been calling me for about a month and don't let you get taken off the list.  They hang up when you ask the name of the company or to be taken off.  Seems like it's enough of this happening to start an investigation to get these [***] shut down.  I'm going to do some research and when I find out what we can do I'll repost for everyone to take action.

I wish there was a magical way we could get the numbers of the employees.  I would post it online for everyone here to call them all day long 3 times a day and hang up on them.

I get these calls on cell and home phone, but costing me minutes on my cell and now I am mad.   Download phone complaint file:  http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/phonefraud/index.shtml
and submit a complaint with dates and times, frequency of the call.  Any info on scam questions that may have affected you in a negative way way may help them prosecute.  Imagine if you called a neighbor everyday - 5 times a day, that would be called harassment or stalking under the law yet these idiots get away with it.  How interesting.

I am sending my complaint in today. Enough is enough.

I have registered a complaint every time they have called me for the past year. (They call every other day or so) Nobody does anything. Nobody is going to stop them. I'm going to keep complaining and be a pest to the ftc site, just like this company is pestering me. They will probably arrest me first.

Try to keep a log of each call.
Record the "reps' saying their BS, if you can.
Tell them- they have been recorded, & for them to look forward to hearing their stupidity on youtube.
This has gotten us the longest period of peace and quiet ever, since this crap began!!
