After owning a 2000S since November 2008 but not using it until April, I found that after about 10 uses the Click-N-Clean wand broke. With a three year warranty I was about to accept that as a fluke. After trying to contact the company for over two weeks I finally got someone in support. She informed me that the wand was only guaranteed for 90 days and that if I wanted a replacement I would have to order it at a cost of $25.55 plus shipping. Why would anyone want to pay $30 bucks for a piece of crap that will only last for a very limited number of uses? After checking out this site, among others, I realized I wasn't the only one with complaints and that they indeed manufacture crap, and I for one, would not buy another Husky product, nor would I recommend it. With the economy the way it is you'd think that they would to keep customers instead of pushing them away. I hope these comments, along with everyone else s will prevent anyone else from getting screwed.

Purchased Husky Powerwasher 1800psi 3 years ago.  1st year worked great. (only used it twice)2nd year after storing in heated garage for winter lost pressure every 3-5 minutes. 3rd year did not have any pressure.  Called Hotline for help, suggested I order $30 rebuild kit, Wrong kit sent, disassembled anyway before I threw this piece of junk away and found a HUGE spring inside that blew out of pump when bolts were removed. Very disappointed in this product.  Better off to rent one for the day.

I have Husky 1600 Power Washer.  It acts and sounds like it is running on one cylinder so to speak.  The pressure from the nozzle is ok, but the machine is laboring.  Please advise.

I purchased some replacement parts on-line on 3/17/10, expecting a 3-5 day shipping eta as published,by 3/25/10 still nothing, so i contacted the on-line operator, who informed me that do to a change in distrubtion location it would be an additional 7-10 business days before they might!ship out the parts? I continued on with my order only becaue,it would take at least 3-5 business days before i could get a refund anyway.this purchase was for a repair for a customer ,now do to this delay from expected eta, i only hope the'll still be willing to pay for this repair and hopefully still use my services in the future. something as easy as an e-mail(which i had to give when i signed up for on-line service/purchases) would have gone a long way in helping to eleviate this problem! I was hoping to establish a reliable source for parts and information when needed, but it appears i will need to find other alternative resources. I'm not one to normally send out complaints but being in retail and trying to start my own small buisness i must say, especially in this economy, poor customer service will kill a company quick!I and others can only hope, that this isn't the way you would normally conduct your after sales business at husky.

    thank for your time.

I purchased a Husky 2000S on May 25, 2009 and used it about 6 times last season.  I stored it in my garage for the winter and brought it out to pressure wash some patio furniture on March 2, 2010.  After connecting it, I turned on the water only to find water shooting out from underneath the unit.  I immediately turned off the power and water to it but the water that was still under pressure in the unit and in the garden hose was still streaming out.  I noticed where the water on the unit was coming out from (the inlet tube) and disconnected the water hose from unit.  I pulled the trigger on the wand and laid out the high pressure hose on the ground to allow all the water to drain out of the machine while the trigger was depressed.  I contacted Husky Pressure Washers (after about 24 minutes on hold) and was told that both the inlet and outlet (manifold) were bad and that I would be shipped new parts within 5-7 working days.  After 3 weeks and numerous phone calls (and waiting on hold no shorter than 17 minutes each time) I found out that the parts were never ordered for me as they were moving their facilities to Arkansas.  I spoke with a supervisor (Zach) who indicated that he would get the parts shipped to me immediately and called me back with a tracking number.  Once the parts arrived, I viewed the repair videos on You Tube and proceeded to replace the parts.  All went smoothly with the exchanging of parts, however, when I connected the water hose and power to the unit, the same thing happened...water gushed out from the bottom of the unit.  I called Husky Power Washers the next day and was told that I would be receiving a pick up tag and to ship the unit back to them for repair.  In my opinion, this is what should have been offered in the first place; or a replacement unit be shipped to me with a return tag for the defective unit. I am still waiting for the pick up tag as of this writing.  This is my second Husky electric Pressure Washer I have purchased over the past two years and it will certainly be my last.  I do not believe that this company that manufactures Husky Pressure Washers for Home Depot makes a quality product based on my experiences and the other postings on this blog. In addition, I also have a gas powered Husky Pressure Washer that is in the shop to replace the detergent valve that shot off when I turned it on to pressure wash my (2 story) home last Saturday.  The unit was purchased November of 2009 and used 2 times before storing it for the winter. Home Depot really needs to crack down on their suppliers/manufacturers and demand they make better quality products since their brand is on these products. Going forward, I won't be buying anything else from Home Depot.

I'm  another unhappy customer with a Husky 2000s power washer that was only used a couple of times last fall. We even stored it inside over the winter. I tried to use it for the first time this spring and it leaks all over the place. The water is leaking from the bottom. We bought it from Home Depot.

I too purchased the 2000s in 2009, only used it a couple times in 09 and a couple in 2010..... went to use it the other day and mine was spraying water all over the place inside the unit, it wouldnt shut off and wouldnt pressure all the way up. After a lenghty search I was able to get the tech dept. and they agreed to send me a ups shipping label to send it in for warranty service. After drying out the circuit board box by using compressed air and rice I watched the youtube videos and opened the unit up to run a bench test with it completely open, the darn thing is leaking from every concievable coupler and hose, even with my background in mechanical repair I was stumped as to where to begin, so with any luck I will get the label, ship it off and be done with it. I too will seriously re-consider any future Husky products if they drop the ball on this...

I purchased a Husky Power washer from the Home Depot Model 1750. 4 or 5 years ago.
It is absolutely ridiculous how many replacement wands I have purchased since then. Husky can check my orders with my address and find out I probably purchased 4 and just placed another order once again.  Usually 6-10 uses then the wand leaks always from the handle.

Cannot believe Husky isn't aware of this issue.

I purchased a 26000s power washer last July. I used it one time, before  I stored it for the winter.I went to use it again,it worked for about five minutes, and the cgfi tripped, I reset it six times and it did not work. I called huskey and tried to get it replace under the warranty but the customer service rep. said it was out of warranty,it would cost $18.75 plus shipping.I only used one time,Iwill not buy any husky products again.

I agree completely!  STay away from Husky!  I used my two years ago new ONCE!  I took it out of the garage this year to use it again, and very little pressue and the handle just poured water out.  Next time, i'll do better homework before buying anything.  I also have not had great experiences with Home Depot.  Maybe it's time to go to the competation?
