After owning a 2000S since November 2008 but not using it until April, I found that after about 10 uses the Click-N-Clean wand broke. With a three year warranty I was about to accept that as a fluke. After trying to contact the company for over two weeks I finally got someone in support. She informed me that the wand was only guaranteed for 90 days and that if I wanted a replacement I would have to order it at a cost of $25.55 plus shipping. Why would anyone want to pay $30 bucks for a piece of crap that will only last for a very limited number of uses? After checking out this site, among others, I realized I wasn't the only one with complaints and that they indeed manufacture crap, and I for one, would not buy another Husky product, nor would I recommend it. With the economy the way it is you'd think that they would to keep customers instead of pushing them away. I hope these comments, along with everyone else s will prevent anyone else from getting screwed.

I also bought a Husky Power Washer 2000s. Right from the start it had problems not giving any pressure, or not shutting off when pressure was established and trigger disengaged. I used it only twice the first year. The second year, the handle started to leak and got worse and worse. The rotating wand had already given up the first year. Now the trigger handle leaks so much its unusable. Very crappy design and construction.
    No more Husky for me.

I also purchased the Husky Power Washer 2000s from Home depot and the Click and Clean wand broke AND the gun leaks a ton of water once you turn it on (after 6 mos. of use).   It looks like they want me to buy a whole new gun and wand which is about $50 after shipping!   I just wont buy anymore Husky/Home Depot products.

Just as a note... In the past I purchased a John Deere ride on from Home Depot that broke 3 TIMES!!!!  They brought me 3 brand new mowers and they all broke!  Eventually, Home Depot refunded my money, but, i just wonder about the quality of the items that are sold @ home depot.

My son bought a Husky H1600 from Homedepot in 2009.  He used it two or three times and I borrowed it in the fall of last year (2011) but didn't have a chance to use it.  Pulled it out now to clean my porch and couldn't figure out how the pressure hose attached to the front.  Well, it doesn't attach because the part in the machine that the pressure hose attaches to broke in half.  Now what do we do??  What is that part called....and how do we get one??

I have a Husky 1800 and have used it on numerous occasions---works great.  I am in need of replacement parts as follows: 1-Turbo Nozzle with lance and 1- Click-N-Clean Variable Spray Lance.  I have spent two
hours tonight visiting websites that are either "out-of-stock", back-ordered or "do not carry anymore"!!
Can I order these parts from you??? Thanks for your help!

I HAVE ONLY PURCHASED ONE HUSKY ITEM  AND THIS HUSKY PRESSURE WASHER WAS SADLY IT. I HAVE HAD IT NOW FOR ABOUT FIVE YEARS , IT HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT AND USED ONLY 8 TO 10 TIMES  SINCE PURSCHASED. STARTING THE SECOND YEAR IT WAS HARD TO GET THE SOAP WATER RATIO CORRECT AND HAD TO SETTLE FOR EITHER NO SOAP OR FULL OUT SOAP. LAST YEAR I GO TO USE IT AND ITS BLOWING WATER OUT THE BOTTOM FROM THIS CHEAP PLASTIC WATER MANUFOLD . AND NOW THIS YEAR THE  FIRST  TIME I  USE  IT I CANT KEEP THE PRESSURE UP, AND THE WAND IS BLOWING WATER ALL OVER I OPEN THE WAND UP AND THE CHEAP PLASTIC  TUBE WITH A O-RING IS SPLIT AT THE SEAM OF THE TUBE. I WORKED AT HOME DEPOT FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND I THOUGHT HUSKY WAS A QUALITY PRODUCT, IM SURE THEY WILL REPLACE THE PIECE OF CRAP PLASTIC TUBE WITH ANOTHER PIECE OF CRAP PLASTIC TUBE, AND CHARGE ME AN ARM AND A LEG TO FIX THE OTHER PROBLEMS. RUN, SAVE YOURSELF!

The husky 1550 is poorly consructed.  the connection to the outlet broke off because of poor weld or whatever,  only used in twice a year and followed all the maintaintance instructions provided.  I will never by this brand again,  nor will I buy major products from HOME DEPOT the outlet for this product.

I also bought a 2000S and after a couple uses developed leaks from the water inlet. I called Husky and they said to take it apart and determine exactly where the leak was from and they would send out the appropriate part. I had better things to do with my time and continued using it with the leak until this year when it died completely. It never worked right in the first place. It would overheat and stop working and I would have to wait 30 minutes before it would start again. It's going into a dumpster and I'm never buying a Husky product again.

I too experienced a wand problem with the Powermaster 1650. I emailed customer service asking for a diagram of the wand but was informed that there was no diagram or internal parts for the gun and that if the gun is not working the whole gun will need to be replaced.

Being an engineer I disassembled the wand to analyze the failure. I found that the trigger operates a plastic piston plunger that has an O-ring seal at the front to shut off the pressure. The tip of the plunger and O-ring is very small and the tip had broken off just at the rear edge of the O-ring. With the broken tip removed and the gun reassembled it works for pressure washing but can only be shut down with the power switch. I emailed customer service suggesting that it would not be reasonable to ask a customer purchase a $60 wand  for the failure of a $2.98 part (guesses as I have no actual price info) and that If they would mail me a complementary replacement plunger with O-ring all will be well. I have not received a reply but the original email response had a five day delay.

I heard from Zac saying Husky has no internal parts for the gun. He corrected my estimate on the gun to say the price is $28.99 not $60. However it is still ridiculous to ask a customer to even pay $28.99 for a replacement gun when only a small part has failed. Certainly it is neither economical nor is it green to treat parts as throwaway. I think a complimentary replacement gun would be a more suitable customer service offer since the company chose not to make the unit serviceable..

I bought a Husky2000 in 2009 and used it exactly 4 times total (about once annually) and the thing crapped out. No power to unit, GFCI indicator red but cannot reset/test. Replacement parts hard to find and their  888-550-1606 number says "test complete" (sinister!!!). Home Depot needs to stand behind its product and kick the manufacturer's a**s to fix the problem or refund. Any help is welcome

Js if you're lucky enough to get a replacement unit like I did the first time sell it on craigslist or something while it actually works. At least that way you can recoup some money. With all the issues husky has brought I'm surprised there's no class action law suits yet. Hmm maybe something for me to explore? It's ridiculous how shoddy this junk is!

I'm on my second ever Husky power washer. No, I wasn't naive enough to purchase a second unit. When the first crapped out after two years and very little use a rep had me bring it to home depot and trade for a working unit.
I have the h2000. Again it's been used less than 10 times since I've had it. I stored it in my basement even during winter to prevent problems. Hook it up this year and water pours from beneath the unit. Can't use at all since there's no pressure given most of the water leaks out of the bottom. Complete garbage. Home depot needs to dissolve their relationship with this company. I like home depot and it makes me wonder what other companies they carry that makes such shoddy products?

Same ole same ole......2000s used 3 times, leaks from wand and bottom.  Was going to purchase wand replacement, but after reading these posts, I'm not sure that's a good idea!  I did take wand apart, but when I did, there was one large spring and one smaller and I couldn't find where the large one goes.  Any one got any ideas?

      Patti,
Chalk it up as a loss. I wouldn't stick any more money into your unit. If you do I assure you something else on it will break. Or the part you repaired/replaced will again fail.
If you do fix it sell it immediately on craigslist so you at least get something out of it. It's complete junk!

Have a 2000S and it was leaking at a small plug on the manifold.  I took the white nylon plug off and sent it to a friend to have it straightened and his wife mistakenly threw it away.  Does anyone have an old 2000s that they are scraping out or the old manifold where I might be able to get the part from, let me know, my email address is garywilliams009@yahoo.com.  I also can send u a pic of the part if that helps.
