Consumers Be Careful.
It has come to the attention of Morgan Drexen and its networks of law firms that there are individuals and their companies fraudulently attempting to impersonate themselves as Morgan Drexen. They are doing so by displaying our 800-868-1458 phone number as their caller ID when attemping to call you.

To further protect your identity, NEVER disclose to anyone including any Morgan Drexen employee your full credit card account numbers. Morgan Drexen debt consultants will only request a partial number if necessary. To insure thet you are working with Morgan Drexen you may also log onto the website as a client of one of the law firms confirming your status with Morgan Drexen.

Morgan Drexen has contacted and is working in full cooperation with the Colorado State Attorney General, the Missourri Attorney General, as well as a senior prosecutor with the Federal Trade Commission regarding the 'spoofing' of Morgan Drexen's Caller ID.

If you have received a fraudulent telephone call displaying 800-868-1458 please call us at 800-868-1458 and press '0' and ask to speak with Protective Services

    Morgan Drexen Sucks
    I too once worked for this sham of a company. I helped run the mail room and thus read every contract and piece of paper they used. Absolutely a scam! At the end of the day you pay more then you owe. While they collect your money they will not pay a single creditor untill they get enough. This will increase your debt and put you in default. Walter is a complete money grubbing piece of [***]. The guys like 2 feet tall and a complete schmuck, although his trophy ex wife is boneable, but pretty torn up. She's the blond number in the videos. The office is shared with a mma company in Irvine. It is true as early posted that they continue to reinvent themselves. This is because they continue to be shut down by the FTC and Feds. The law company the hide behind are two dudes in the office in Irvine. They actually have law degrees but as Walter, are complete scmucks. This company is doomed to fail much like it has in the past. They will rip you off and take every penny they can. Beware

    My girlfriend got caught up in this scam, now she is out $1500.00.  I kept telling her I thought it was strange that the Bank keeps calling she when Morgan Drexen was taking care of this.  I finally got the name of this company from her and behold what a SCAM.  I felt really bad telling her but better soon than later and her being out more money.

    She went to her bank and came upon an agreement with them for payment terms on a credit card she owned.  Then went to the other bank where she was having money taken out via wire transfer (which of course they don't take personal checks hum!!!)  and stopped that also

    Quite the opposite Morgan Drexen hides the lawyer (not doing a very good job about it) Ledda and Cashcall's are the ones making all the dough. Lots.

    my husband tried this company before even asking me.  i looked it up and all i could find was bad news. my husband is a recent retirer so they are after them!  so watch out and do your research..u are retired but u are not owing so much that you end up with nothing!  Look to the resources you do have..family..friends..GOD!!!!  HE IS ALWAYS WITH YOU!!  HE WILL NEVER GIVE YOU MORE THAN U CAN HANDLE!  IT IS HIS PROMISE!

    Heres whats wrong with you  people.  The company is DEBT SETTLEMENT.  There not debt consolidation, or debt management.  There job is to save your money, and try and settle your account for a fraction of what you owe.  If you cant afford your bills anyway, what do you have to loose?  If people would read and listen they would know this.  All of these people that have complaints on here didnt do that.  They saw a low payment and thought oh this is cheaper then I pay now.  READ people.  If you owe a 5,000 credit card, your not gonna settle it for 500 bucks.  And with this program your gonna get sued, and have to go to court, but thats what they help you with. SO if your a dead beat who doesnt pay your bills, i expect this program is to much work.. You should stop spending and file bankruptcy.

    Morgan Drexen is a company that provides paralegal support and customer support to attorneys that specialize in SETTLING debt, not CONSOLIDATING debt. Debt consolidation is bassically just another high interest loan. Morgan drexen charges a low retainer fee based on how much dedt you owe. They are the middle men so to speak. You sign up with there company and they assign you to a law firm in your area. This program will not work for everyone but im sure it is beneficial to a lot of people. You will be set up on a monthly payment plan to pay the retainer fee. Once this fee is paid, your monthly payment will begin to accumilate into a trust account. Once 25% of any one of your debts is accumilated they will begin to negotiate that particular debt. The reason they do this is because they cannot make an settlement offer without having money available to make a once and for all settlement. Don't be confused, fees are involved. Morgan Drexen charges a monthly servicing fee of $45 up to 6 credit accounts. Add $3 for every account over 6. They also charge a 25% settlement fee for every account they settle. This is 25% of the savings amount. If they settle a $1000 account for 25% your settlement will be $250, plus the 25% settlement fee that will equal $250 as well. This means you will actually be paying half of the actual balance. Make no mistake about it this is a hardship program and can effect your credit. Also at no time are you exempt from being seud. This is where the law firm in your area comes into play. The attorneys will not appear in court for you but will provide documentation in response to any creditor filing suit against you. The reason the attorney will not appear for you is because it doesn't look good if you can afford to pay an attorney but not your creditors. You will not be locked into a term or pay any sort of interest rate. This is a contract that can be cancelled at anytime. In any event MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING BEFORE YOU SEND ANYONE YOUR MONEY OR BANK ACCOUNT INFO.

    I would not go with this company I have been with this company since feb 09 , when you call in to talk to someone they all tell you a different story about whats going on with you accounts. I am no longer with the company, I had 2 accounts with judgements I had to pay seperate from the fee at morgan drexen  I would not recommend this company.

    Im very very nerious they contacted me and I started the program two weeks ago.  Should I try to get out or Im stuck with the program?

      I too started this program recently, feeling very nervous. I get different answers from different people. They tell me this just takes time and not to feel nervous, but I still do.  I'm told I have to build up my account in order to have something to work with. Meanwhile I'm told I have to pay off the $1,500 attorney fee before they can build up my account to settle these two credit cards. In the meanwhile I'm getting letters from the two credit cards wanting me to call them. Morgan Drexen just keeps telling me to ignore these, not to call anyone and just keep faxing any letters etc. to them, which I have been doing. I call just about every day because I'm nervous and confused. I mentioned to them that the BBB gives them a low rating I was told that different companies pay the BBB to have a good rating. Is this true anyone? They do ask me to increase my payments to them but seriously, I just can't do anymore, so It will be according to them a long time and looks like I may have to go to court unless I cancel. I just hope it's not hard to do so. Please everyone that prays, do for me. :(
