    I just received the second one of these calls in as many days.  Anybody know what they are after?  Money? Personal info like a social security number or something?

      I.also, have been receiving these calls for over a month.  My husband got really angry at them and called back their number every 5 minutes for over 2 hours.  We have been getting most of our calls from a Florida exchange.  The last call, on the i.d. number said Disney/ MGM and it was the same Indian jerk fromMedical Compensation.  What tees me off the most is they had information about one of my surgeries and also my husbands surgery.  I believe they are representing a lawyer.  When I asked what law firm they were representing, they hung up on me. I am going to buy a whistle and when they come on the line I will blow that  thing as loud as possible.

    215-622-2947:   I had 2 calls from this # on Wed about 12:50 PM, the display showed caller unknown.  I let 1st call go but no msg so I answered 2nd but got no response, only silence.  Today, same #/unknown caller at 1:54 PM but this time a man with a very thick accent mispronounced my name… I replied yes then waited for a pitch… I was struggling to understand him so it took a second before I caught that he was with the (?) Medical Compensation Dept.(?) and was given my name because I might be eligible for compensation from a recent surgery… WHAT?!!  I flipped out and demanded to know who he was…it sounded like he said his name was “Albert Schaeffer (doubtful).. from Medical Compensation Dept. then calmly and clearly asked me “…you did have vaginal mesh surgery recently, didn’t you?”  … That’s a quote!!  I was floored… sputtering mad… all I could do was tell him the call was bogus… take my name off the list… every list…never call again.
    Unbelievably, I got another call from same # at 6:04 PM… it rang 2x…no msg… I guess 2nd shift started… it sure started me up again… what about HIPAA??  Can lawyers really cold call clients for cases like this???  I can’t believe anything about that call was legitimate… It was wrong in so many ways… I just regret not handling it better… hopefully, the next person will.

    I have been receiving these calls several times a day, everyday, for the past couple of months.  Someone with an Indian accent would say he is calling from the medical compensation department regarding various surgeries which I have not had.  Today it was vaginal mesh surgery.  And today, I decided to go along with it.  I responded to their questions with bogus information, and kept getting handed up the chain until I reached a woman with no Indian accent.  I believe she was screening me to see if I was legit.  When I asked which company she was calling from, she said that her company was hired to handle calls regarding medical compensation by a law firm, whose name she would not provide until she was satisfied with all the information I gave her and answered her questions.  She then transferred me to a paralegal at the law firm responsible for these calls.  Their name is Gacovino, Lake & Associates and they are located in New York.  Their number is:  800-550-0000 and their complete information is:

      What ever happened with this? Did you get anywhere? I keep getting calls too and am extremely irritated!! Same Indian accent male caller but the number is blocked.

      Chris, have you heard anything back?  Have you called the law firm?  I'm getting these calls more than twice per day and I was thinking of playing along with it to see where it will go, but I get SO frustrated with them.  Thanks!

    Some idiot with an accent so thick I could not understand him.  He called from UNKNOWN number at 7a.m. which is illegal.  He then proceeded to talk about compensation for some surgery. He refused to give his number. He transferred me to a Sebastian who was a Supervisor and had the same horrible accent.  He hung up when I asked him his phone number. Bunch of losers.

    I called Gacovino, Lake & Associates, P.C. they of course claim its a scam they have no part in, but they are getting a lot of calls about this issue. No one has been able to get the name of the company actually making the calls. If I get the call again (which I'm sure I will) I'll try to dig deeper and I'll post again.

    btw I tried not answering for awhile, they just keep coming.

    keep getting these calls and I am in Tennessee in Utah. How can we stop it? Should we record the calls and send them to the news? It's ridiculous.
    I'm getting at least 2 to 3 calls per week even on the weekends. This is the latest number (727) 324-6603

    I have been receiving calls from several different numbers and they all have a heavy foreign accent.  This morning's call was from Medical Compensation again and started off wanting to know if I took lipitor.  I have told them several times I am on the Do Not Call list and to remove me from their calling list.  I was told "to listen to me" and I told the gentleman "No - you listen to me - STOP CALLING ME!" It doesn't help.

    Same thing here - dozens of calls, so I finally told them if they called back I was calling the police.  The guy got really pissed and said for me to go ahead and call the police because he has guns too and he will kill them.  He was extremely mad and yelling and I just kept telling him he was going to prison.  He's called a couple of times since, but not 2-3 times per day as usual.

    These guys are hilarious. Fun to mess with. I cant wait for the next call. They said I was going to get money for blood thinner meds that were bad. I told them I wanted off the list and they said they only way to get off the list was to change my phone number and that they would just keep calling and calling. That is when I started laughing. Looking forward to the next one.

    All these numbers are from GOOGLE VOICE.  This company can give anyone a phone number from anywhere.  Here the people get numbers from the USA and use them to have you believe they are from the USA.

    i really dont know why everyone here is receiving constant calls from the law firm. this is the first i ever heard of them. i found out about them from a fb ad that said ppl who take resperdal can get a claim. i asked my dad about it and he said i should go for it. it had something to do with sayin that a side effect of risperdal can cause men to have breast hormones. im seeing half questionable comments and half scam comments. i signed up with my email and phone number and as soon as they contacted me, i didnt answer cuz one of my apps was blocking the call and the fact that they were calling me at the worst times possible too. once at like 9 something in the morning while i was asleep and once at work that i couldnt answer the phone for and now once tonight where i was finally able to answer. i was reading the comment section on fb about the claim i wanted to make and it was the same as on here. nothing but mixed reviews so now idk who to believe. the part about them constantly calling, yes that is true but again those were times that i couldnt answer but all the times they called, were all from the same number. and tonight when i answered the phone, at first i got like 5 rings and then a lady who spoke perfect english answered the phone. so i finally spoke with the lady on the phone and she was asking me all these questions to see if i qualify for the claim and she even asked me for my SS# and what other pills i take and stuff and at the end i was asked to sign forms and i told the lady that i didnt wanna sign anything until my parents looked over the forms. mind u the forms were digital and so was my signature but i didnt go all the way through with the signature so i really need to know if anybody here went through with the claim and it worked for them or not. im still skeptical about it and now that u guys are saying that they nonstop call u, im afraid of them calling me multiple times again. the lady just said since we were in the middle of completing the forms, she would send me the forms via fedex in the mail so that i could maybe sign them and send them back. has any claims actually worked for them? this was the only thing they asked me about when they first called when i first signed up about the breast hormone thing for guys cuz thats what i wanted to get a claim for and considering the fact that i actually take the pill they advertised about on fb.
