844-369-3850 Call to family and coworkers saying I owe money for an on line loan that was transferred into my account. Stating there is a judgment against me and a summons is going out for my arrest. They are harassing my family. When I ask for written validation they say that I have not responded to it and they will see if they can reduce my debt by taking to one of their supervisors. Totally bogus BS!!

    Same exact experience has been happening to me and my family for a couple weeks lately but has been really going on for a couple of years!  What can we do?  HELP!

    The infamous  “Coastal” or CFS scam.  No idea where they are located.  Call from a variety of numbers for several years now. Ignore and block any calls received from this “Coastal” group. Sometimes uses the CID of “Coastal Litigation” or Coastal Pre-litigations.

    Mark Wallace is a current debt scamming persona for this “CFS”.

    Report them:

    http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening civil proceedings with no intent to follow through, or threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a  violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.) As is endless harassing calls.

    Same here 08-11-2017.  For years, but this last 2 weeks, constantly.  For a man named David Kester who according to Google USED to have my #.  The guy, too, upon my own research, is dead.  God rest his soul.  These scumbags are calling BS Scams on a dead man.  Wow.  What a bunch of dummy criminals.  Get the information right before you try and siphon $ from unlikely victims, [***]!  I called back: first time hung up.  Second time: "Mark Lopez" picked up and he tried asking MY name.  That has nothing to do with it, I told him.  Then I said, while it's none of my business, but looks like, as per Google, the man you're calling for who had my number died in 2009.  He's dead.  Gone.  Stop calling my house.

    8-14-2017 .  Call identified as 844 369-3850.  Calling for person with same last name as ours.
    "Hello my name is Mark Wallace.  I'm calling today in regards to a formal complaint filed against one ( xxxx).  If you have any information of the whereabouts of  (xxxx))  please contact our office immediately at 844 369-3850. Again 844 369-3850.  Our next step will be to notify the proper authority."     (xxxx) is a recording with the name of the person they're looking for.  I checked the office of out state Attorney General under Debt Scaming for a valid License to operate in our state & this is what I find:

    Thank you for this information.  I receiving the same information with the same person .  When you call back it goes to a voice mail.  I forwarding this information to a harassment attorney.  I will given that same information. Thank you

    Receiving the same for a couple years had stopped awhile now calling again using Mike Wallace now ..very threatening..

      Exact same situation here. They called me back in 2015 and I called back and was told I owed for a payday loan back in 2012 that was paid in 2012 (that is how they probably got all my personal info). They said they had court papers ready to take me to court and when I told them to send them to my email so I can review as I did not owe any money, they said not until I gave them my debit/credit card info. So I told them to take a flying leap and that I was reporting them to the attorney general. Needless to say, the calls stopped until recently and not only are they contacting me (again) but my daughter and my sister, brother you name it. I literally just called them back today at the (844)369-3850 number they called me on and got a woman who was automatically rude and defensive when I called her out and informed them that I know this is fraud, it's all over Google and people are catching on and reporting them. Then I told her to not contacting me again (in a not so nice way). So we will see!! I swear who are these people and do they seriously get money from unsuspecting people????? Makes no sense.....

    I have  received numerous calls from Mark Wallace saying that there is a formal complaint against one. I called my local police department and made a formal complaint of my own. Police called # 344-369-3850. Caller hung up on police. Police called back and had to demand to speak with a real person. Finally, the police was able to get a woman to answer call. They claimed that The Mark Wallace robocall is a generic thing they use. I was told by police to check my credit report to make sure nothing suspicious is on it. Of course, because this is a scam.

    I just received a call from this number 844-369-3850 saying my computer is broken and he needs to get on it and fix it. So I played along until he wanted me to type in his address www.alpemix.com and that he would fix my computer. I said do yo think Americans are stupid, get the hell out of here!!! He was definitely form another country. Delay in his responses which usually means the caller is in another country. Good Luck all...

    Just received a threatening call from the same number everyone has noted. Glad I looked it up. I have NO LOANS. I am current on all my bills. Was very upset to hear such a threatening message from a "so called' company but now I'm relieved to know it's a SCAM! Don't answer there calls & don't talk to them at all.

    Just received the same threatening call from a "Mark Wallace" with the same exact message. I know this is a SCAM as they call from different numbers frequently. No LOANS on my part.. Number has been blocked.
    I say until they provide WRITTEN proof and it is sent to me via certified mail, they will NOT get any correspondence from me. Local investigators and fraud unit notified.

    He is calling my family and leaving messages with them but never leaves a mesage on my phone. How do I stop them from calling my family? They leave me alone for a little while than they come back. Glad I looked the number up thanks

    This person is definitely a SCAMMER. He has called all of my family and even my ex-mother-in-law. Unlike most of you. I did have a pay-day loan. Which, I did pay off with the loan company. They did provide me with a letter showing the loan which was made by my ex-wife while we were still married. After that, I did finally agree to pay it off and they sent a letter of satisfaction and also recorded with the credit bureau's that the debt was settled.
    Since the neither my current wife or myself have made any pay-day loans since.
    This person needs to either stop this or hopefully suffer the consequences legally.
