As soon as I get a live person they hang up if I don't sound like I'm interested in their product. I can't even ask them to remove me from their list.

I am getting tired of getting these calls from Heather at Account Service. She calls every day. How can I stop these calls. If anyone can tell me post the answer.

Simple. Just waster their time by providing fake credit card number and a fake phone number, and finally do not forget to laugh on their face. That will do

I worked for this company ONE NIGHT and came home to find more info about it. Turns out, it's a giant credit card fraud ring. They tell you to say you are in a call center based out of a different state. (They told us to say San Francisco, Calif.) but the base is in Tampa, Florida. If you guys want to get them back and harass them, their number is 813-418-5811. "Naomi in Human Resources" will answer, IT IS THE DIRECT LINE, not human resources. She's a scammer too so feel free to unload on her or for the ring leader, ask for Jason. Also, their address is 8413 Laurel Fair Circle suite 100 Tampa, Florida. I have called the The bay news team, florida attorney general, and a complaint line since last night, they all told me the same thing: File a complaint online. What is this world coming to?
*Warning they do have caller ID so if you do not want any call backs block your number!

Not all of these companies are scams I have worked for several different companies that lower the interest rates now in this industry where heather is involved some are scams some are not heather is a recording used by about 2000 different companies through out the united states now if u really do need the help and you want the rates lowered give the "qualifying representative your credit card number but no exp. and do not give your cvc because lets face it your account is completely safe by just giving the credit card # becuase without the exp and cvc no charges can be put to your account I mean thats just common sense plus your credit card company for example Bank Of America ( I use to work there by the way ) sends it to you in the mail every month AND THE REASON THEY DO IS BECAUSE JUST THE ACCOUNT NUMBER BY IT SELF CAN NOT HURT YOU OR YOUR ACCOUNT DUHH!!! verify the last four of your social and just the last four because they are completely insignificant about 50,000 different people in the US have the same last 4 digits for they're social as yours and give them your zip code once again not secure info now after the "qualifier" checks your account they are going to transfer your to a financial supervisor or financial consultant here comes the part where you will find out if it is a scam or not listen to the financial supervisor they are going to give you a speech on what they are going to be able to do for you and as you now nothing in life is free so they will ask for a fee now if the financial advisor or what ever you want to call them says that the fee will be absorbed by reducing your rates and they charge you first before they do anything it is a scam but if they do lower your interest rates first and then ask for the fee its not a scam!! I HOPE THIS WAS ABLE TO HELP YOU COMING FROM SOMEONE WITH PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH A REAL BANK (BANK OF AMERICA ONCE AGAIN LOL) AS WELL AS A PERSON THAT HAS BEEN THE ONE YOU HAVE YELLED AT FROM TIME TO TIME ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE YOU HAVE TO REALIZE THERE REALLY ARE COMPANIES THAT ARE THERE TO HELP AND ACTUALLY HELP YOU AND THEN THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES I NO LONGER WORK FOR THAT REALLY ARE SCAMS, IF YOU EVER HAVE ANY QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERED JUST EMAIL ME I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE IF ANYONE EVER NEEDS HELP GETTING OFF A CALLING LIST OR THEY REALLY DO WANT THEIR INTEREST RATES REDUCED AND ARE WILLING TO TAKE THE HELP ITS MY JOB AND I DO WORK FOR A LEGITIMATE COMPANY SO DONT BE AFRAID EMAIL ME AT amber_clark961@hotmail.com

This statement is false, and self-serving.
Not having the expiration date or CCV just makes it easier to dispute the charge. They can still run through the charge manually, and they will probably use some other method to allege you authorized the charges. For example, they might record the call, or record and doctor it so it appears to authorize additional charges.
Although your bank should take your word over theirs, some bank's fraud departments are so incompetent that they just say if you gave them your account number, it's an authorized charge and just a billing dispute.
When you might be dealing with scammers, the best course is to just hang up.
Never give your account information to anyone unless you intend to authorize a charge, and never give it to anyone you believe might charge amounts you have not agreed to.
Over petty amounts, nothing prevents anyone from breaking the law except their own honesty, since it takes a lot of complaints to get any action from the authorities, especially if you are dealing with some out of state company that is hiding its identity and location.

Just got another call from "Heather". The human that I got called herself Jane. Jane let it slip that her employer is indeed Bank of America. So I guess Athena's post, however difficult to read, is at least partly correct. But I wouldn't trust BofA as far as I could throw them...nor Athena, because we should never never give our credit card number to any unsolicited caller of any kind!!! As an employee of BoA, Athena would know that. I wonder if Athena's alter ego isn't perhaps...Heather???
I get calls 5x a day from heather in different states. I just keep blocking all numbers fro Heather

I have been receiving multiple calls from them continually. They continue to call even today - December 17,2009.
Do you have any more information about this company that you would be willing to share?
Thank You, Joe

They are not shut down 1/25/10 was the last call I got from Heather and her crew. I have contacted the FCC,FTC and local phone company. No help there. This morning I contacted my local news station in the hopes that the media can stop the unstoppable Heather. Lets hope this works. And for the record the only protection we consumers have against fraud is don't give them information. If you want to lower your credit card rates call the bank that issued the card. Protect yourselves.

I just got a call today, 4/24/2010. I reported the number at donotcall.gov, but obviously the feds don't seem to care, as "Heather" has been at it for years now. If you try to press them for who they are, or tell them you're on the do not call list, or to stop calling, they hang up on you before you even finish your sentence.

Annoyed by Account Services
They just called me today and it is January 26, 2011. So I guess after the raid, they just opened up somewhere else and are continuing to make these annoying calls. Just hang up on them or report them to the State, so that they can be located and shut down again.

This dumbasses are so stupid! Calling the same number to get rejected each time you would think they would stop. I wish I could reach into the phone and punch those morons in the face for trying to commit identity theft! If they would put the effort they use to rip people off into a real honest line of work they could be successful but instead these people are heartless and have no morals!

I have gotten the same exact recorded message from at least 10 different area codes, suposedly in different states. they are manipulating the caller id info so that you dont know its them. i never anser out of state calls and let it go to voice mail. as soon as i get a number i am able to block it as i am on brighthouse phone service, and selective blocking is one of their great options. they get a recorded message that their number will not be accepted, and i get no more calls or messages (from that particular number), but they keep changing the number and I keep adding the number to my block list. sooner or later, i hope they run out of numbers and all of the calls will stop. until then, just let it go to voice mail.
